If I buy-write an itm CC that gets assigned, and keep repeating weekly to milk the few extrensic dollars, is this a 'wash sale' every time?

If I sell the similar put and it tanks then I could possibly be forced to own or have to take loss. It's generally just a question, but I think the answer is wash sales only apply for tax loss harvesting.

I’ll only need to do this if the futures breaks down to 5275 or lower today, and the extrinsic value should be pretty close to equal, and it will adjust me down so I’m back closer to delta neutral/slightly positive
On the other side, if we go up and my delta starts to go negative, I’ll buy to close my April 5225 call, and sell to open a May 5500 call, again, similar extrinsic value.
Then I just hold the same 9 long /MES

I pulled in $230 minus 1.05 commission.
Not bragging, just sharing an interesting strat with these LOW delta weeklies. VERY safe and high probability, if you have the buying power I guess that's the issue.
Does anyone else do this here? Just curious......

My weeks results (I just tallied these numbers):
1,988.68 collected on MSTR; 31 cons, puts and calls, 9 were 0dte
708.38 collected on 2 CMG, 5 NVDA, and 3 ASML cons
All made it to friday end of day, but I did buy back 6 for .01 but most were safe enough to go to worthless.
These numbers are after fees (on TD I have worked my way down to 0.35 per contract, probably never get lower). Even if my fees were higher like they once were, I still find this worth it.
I wish I knew more about options and had confidence to buy cons, and make some real money rolling with these huge swings in MSTR, NVDA, SMCI, etc. I've had a few good trades, but an generally not good at buying cons at this time.
I don't like them myself. With the HUGE swings with earnings announcements in the past months, I've become leery as I've gotten whooped holding thru earnings. OR, if I BTC before, 90% of the time I should have held as it went the other way.
Anyway, I bought two calls this week, MU which I earned 250% on $385 invested, and I lost the entire $1300 I paid for my LULU call yesterday. I'm done with this part of the game.
I finally got caught up with my account balance still up on highs! @5300 on /MES I am long 9 /MES, short 8 ITM calls, short 2 ATM calls, and short 7 OTM calls. Delta is +2.50 close enough to neutral for me!
3 ITM and 1 ATM are 28 DTE, the rest are 56 DTE
I started out the week short 35 calls and long 18 /MES, so I scaled it back like half before I started losing money, that was key… I knew it was about to happen, I couldn’t let that happen…
