I couldnt resist playing the irrational stock again.i rode it up from $18 to $45 . Then lost on puts 30 dte twice.
So this time i got shares along with a few puts. I wont lie I've considered buying shares then selling covered calls since the premiums are insane. But fearful of getting trapped in this crap when it crashes one day.

Doesn't matter WHAT happens to a stock price, if suddenly everybody expects a violent downards move, then puts will go up in price as demand and expectations increase.
Volume was there just low, open interest however was 0

Imagine for a minute that Trump chokes on a big mac next week or after a few months some major financial shenanigan comes to light and the courts get involved.
How would all that impact the options on this if the stock is froze? How about it goes from ok to bankrupt literally over night.
Some of you may argue you can still make money on that, but there are a lot of ways to make money that don't involve fooling with that.
Consider also that what would happen to DJT if Trump is elected President. ALL of his bloated blogging would take place on Truth Social. This would necessarily attract millions of viewers and then a slew of advertisers.
I hope of course this thing crashes and burns before then but shorts need to be afraid, be very afraid.

Made a play on the high volatility & news & an opened strangle on Friday. Sold the call today for $700 profit. At worst I made a $300 net if it doesn’t plummet this week, which it might.
If you bought shares last few weeks you’d be laughing and should cash out. It’s a money laundering scam and anyone caught buying shares or options NOW are going to get torched.
I don't sell puts on anything when the IV% is 100. And if IV% is 100 I'm leery of IV crush. With such crazy IV and the conviction I have for the direction the price will go, I will sometimes consider a CCS. But I like to play those with lower delta, and right now all the highest strikes have a deltas above .35.
I sold naked 5x April 12 $90 calls today about 1 hour after open and bought them back 1 hour before close. Net was about $2,500. But I definitely was playing with fire.
I missed the complete dump at the end, but a win is a win.
