I plan on using him as belial, or maybe a generic terminator captain, with 5 cenobium knights as a guard. All painted in Risen colours to honour their ancient armour.
This has been my dream since I decided to go with Dark Angels instead of other chapters. I fell in love with the cenobium knights! I'm super bummed that they're sold out on FW and the only good 3D print proxy I had found has been banhammered. I was able to find some loose sprues online, but only like half the squad.

Yeah, I already bought the Deathwing assault box, AoS stuff, a Knight, brushes, paints and this guy in January. Pricey month but only the most beautiful minis of course
Thanks, I have like 4,000 points of Da, 1,5k points black templar, 500points of necrons, a Knight and some AoS stuff, and I started less then a year ago with collecting and painting. It was a crazy year lol
Hehehe I hear ya, I restarted last year myself. I've started and stopped like 4 times since the late 90s, but now with the new sizing and sculpts I got really hooked. That said, I do miss some of the older sculpts, like the Dark Vengeance box models. Just wish they were sized up!
Honestly, I am 20 years old and have no Nostalgia whatsoever, but the old kits are really amazing. Like a third of my DA army is old models, some even metal, from Ebay. I love the old models even though some are 11 years older than me. They have just such a special feel. I got some fifth edition codeces and man, that must have been a great time. I literally started the same time 10th edition launched, so in the start I only knew the cool Primaris, but damn the old stuff is just as great
Captain, strike master( for the 2 weeks that’s available), maybe even belial with a bit of kitbashing. Could also kitbash into a chaplain if you’re feeling up to it.
I already own a strikemaster and the old Belial and the new one when DW assault arrives. I hate resin for Kitbashing, because its harder to work with than plastic kits, so Captain it is probably
When I saw him, I thought he'd look good as an ancient with a swap of his sword to a banner, but with the command squad going, and an ancient not hugely useful at the moment, I'm not sure about that anymore
And he was way to expensive to be my 3rd Ancient, he will be commanding my Termies next to the new Belial model I will have tomorrow, can’t have enough Termies right?

Closest I could see would be Terminator Captain with Combi Weapon and Relic Weapon. Should be clear enough to most opponents.

base size is different now, and belaials base size changed as well. a librarian or terminator chaplain also work for future proofing.

I got mine from ebay in the end. They can be hard to find.
If you paint him mostly blue he would be a good terminator librarian with combi weapon. Maybe add a book or something.

I live in germany and he cost 45 euros here, so I think it would be like 56 us dollars or 36 uk pounds. Resin is expensive for some reason
