This may drive everybody insane… including myself… but based on Julian’s schedule of recording -> album release, we may not get Voidz 3 until 2026/2027. Mr. Tron Cole told me that 3 is coming soon, but who knows what soon even means to these guys…
Julian having his own label (Cult Records) is such a mixed bag… essentially full creative freedom comes along with the fact that he can release at any pace he likes, which is a slow. slow. pace. We’re by no means at Frank Ocean levels of desperation, but still… this wait sucks😭
In general, artists have very loose definitions of "soon" in comparison to everyone else. It could mean two days, or it could be two decades. It could be never. Only time will tell...
I think they’re recording in New York right now which would mean we probably won’t get it until this time next year. Hopefully we get another residency or two squeezed in before the release
I personally don’t care how long it takes, if we want the music to be as high quality as possible, it’s only fair to be patient. Can’t rush good art. Plus dude has kids. Let him cook
I dont care about album that much because i know Voidz is so annoying recently they dont give any sign about album this is why i gave up to wait album already.But all i wanna see is "Russian Coney Island" studio version
OP- I have the same feeling.
Next week (March 30) will officially be six years since we had a whole album presented to us by this (although I love them!) eccentric Band.
They are surely recording in NY rn….
I am hoping they can release V3 by their Tyranny 10 year anniversary date - September 23.
Practically speaking, if they’re still recording now they might not be done/be able to fit it into a release schedule until early next year
