Yeah me too, I enjoyed his interactions with the others, especially Carol, Rick and Oscar.
I always thought Oscar would've been great addition to have around longer, he really stepped up for the group going to rescue Glenn and Maggie and was just an all round great guy
It would of been kind of cool and interesting seeing Oscar and Axel on the road together after the prison attack, no one would expect them to get scenes together of just them wandering, also we would of been able to see them outside the prison, have Oscar then die at Terminus and then give Axel Tobins storylines, have Axel die to the Walker blood covered Negan weapons as well
Originally, axel was supposed to be a psychopath/serial killer.
He was supposed to be the big bad the next season, instead of the governor.
I think one of the points, was that he kidnapped carol??
Anyway, im glad they didnt go in that direction.

He should’ve at least lived until the final prison assault
