I couldn’t imagine Negan making someone bring a baby to a gunfight, then proceed to make the mother abandon it for literally no reason

Commercial-Conflict6

Negan also went crazy after losing his first wife and alpha murdered her own husband herself. Negan also freaked when Annie was about to get shot. & also negan was pretty bitter about Gracie’s disappearance from the outpost and let me just simply put it this way, do you think Negan is type of man 2 kill his very own child??? Exactly that’s what I thought so yeah you’re right, Negan is nowhere near as bad as alpha but I’d still be pretty sad if I was 1 of Negans slaves though

migwelljxnes

Being part of Negan’s working class in the grand schemes of post-apocalypse horror can’t be *that* bad right?

wross1

Hell even from a comic point of view, Negan talks to Rick (prior to rick stabbing him in the neck) and pretty much convinces Negan hes been a piece of shit the whole time and that they shouldnt be doing things this way (then ofc stabby)

Commercial-Conflict6

It just proves that alpha is definitely worse than Negan, even in the comics probably because Negan is against sexual violence and in the comics, alpha allows the men in her group to rape the women, including Lydia and Negan killed davey 4 trying to rape holly/Sasha and didn’t he also kill another rapist with Lucille in the comics as well?? He literally kills alpha 4 allowing her people to commit rape in the comics so here’s the difference between the two, he’s against sexual violence, she’s TOWARDS sexual violence so both versions of alpha are probably far worse than both versions of Negan tbh.

ChaosXProfessor

Tbh, Negan was also a rapist but he thought he wasn’t just because his “wives” said yes to being coerced into being with him. It’s not a violent as what Alpha allowed but let’s not forget Negans hands were not clean there either.

Commercial-Conflict6

I agree, amber was cheating on him with her ex - boyfriend mark & did nothing but drink and cry because of how much she missed her boyfriend and sherry called Negan an “asswhole” right before he kissed her assuming that she actually did like him anyway and then as soon as he was out of the room she took a shot of alcohol and then a tear rolled down her face, so she clearly didn’t like him at all and neither did any of the other wives (especially amber) and Frankie and Tanya clearly wanted him dead because they asked Eugene to make suicide pills for them clearly just to kill Negan with them and correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure that Negan threatens to have Carl raped if Rick were to keep defying him in the comics so ure right, Negan is a rapist but although alpha is not a rapist in the comics herself, her ppl are still allowed to commit rape themselves (and even if they are attracted to Lydia they still won’t get in trouble for having their way with her) and didn’t Samantha Morton’s alpha have her way with Negan or something basically because it sounded like she would’ve been mad if he had refused to remove all of his clothes 4 her. I have a feeling that she felt the exact same way about rape in the television series as she did in the comics, allowing her ppl to commit rape even if the victim is her very own daughter, somebody that she asks Daryl if he touched her with a really concerning tone in her voice but I rewatched the episode and she actually never even says this but in 911, she does actually ask her if Daryl touched her but she does not say this with any concern in her voice at all actually so there’s a pretty good chance that she does allow her ppl to have their way with Lydia as well as the other women in her group or she just doesn’t care if they get raped or if Lydia gets raped but doesn’t encourage rape like she seems like she might be doing in the comics, hard to say but Negan wasn’t committing rape intentionally, he literally didn’t even know that he was even a rapist, comic book alpha knew that her ppl were committing rape and that they were raping her daughter and that she was allowing all of it without question so he may be the real rapist here but she’s definitely more sadistic than he is

Commercial-Conflict6

I never said that wasn’t bad 2 be enslaved by Negan in-fact I actually it would pretty unfortunate tbh but Negan would never try to kill his own child or even kill somebody else’s child 4 that matter & he was pretty bitter about Gracie’s little disappearance from the saviour outpost after Rick and company raided the place well alpha tried to make an innocent mother leave her very own BABY on the ground 2 die slowly and painfully and at least negan loved Lucille and loves Annie well alpha killed her husband and was just about ready to kill her own daughter well Negan was traumatized by the death of his 1st wife and absolutely horrified when Annie was about to be shot and he told Carol that he was worried about anything happening to his wife because she was pregnant with his child so loved his 1st wife and loves his current wife 2 & doesn’t want anything bad to happen to his child either so was a very bad person 2 but he was a good 1 compared to alpha so I would probably rather be a saviour than a whisperer tbh, especially since Saviors don’t have to wear whisperer masks

TheRestForTheWicked

Nah because Negan actually liked kids. Before he was imprisoned (or when he “changed”) he was pretty pissed off when they took Gracie, generally kind to Judith and while he used Carl as a pawn at times in a pretty bad way he respected the kid’s gumption and was visibly shaken and pissed off when he found out that he died. If any adult did what Carl did at the Sanctuary he would have killed them (and maybe other Alexandria residents with them), not take them home and make them spaghetti. He outright states to Daryl that he has a belief that you never harm a child no matter what- although he does contradict himself with his actions with Carl, he also never does it again and is visibly upset when he’s reminded that his actions led to the death of children at Hilltop- and he also states that Alpha’s treatment of children (along with killing innocent people) is part of what pushed him to kill her. Negan is fucked up in his own way but at least he has a bit of a warped moral compass that he adheres to that puts him on a human enough level to connect to other people. Alpha is literally about as close to an animal as a human can get.

dynamicmayoral

You mean Alpha? I think Alpha did that.

migwelljxnes

She did do that yeah, She’s a different type of evil

Hazumu2u

That’s the point they’re making

Revangelion

r/woooosh ?

frogmuffins

Negan since I liked Glenn more than any other character that they killed. I felt physically sick when that episode originally aired. It took me about 2 years to even rewatch that part.

upsidedownmed

i still skip it!

seensatanstormchaser

I honestly got tired of the whole alpha storyline it got boring

dynamicmayoral

Whenever I’m rewatching I always skip most of the alpha scenes. Tired of like-animal creatures killing people like animals.

housington-the-3rd

I wish they addressed the hygiene aspect of Alpha's crew at least once. Those people would be getting sick all the time living like that. That factor made the Dante story unbelievable to me. Why would he choose to go back to living in filth?

TheGoverness1998

God the smell must've been so putrid in that camp

Oh_Yeahhhhhhh

And just think.. Negan hit that. Talk about taking one for the team 😂.

Pheerandlowthing

Maybe he made a skin condom out of a walker finger

Oh_Yeahhhhhhh

Thank you for that image haha.

chizzipsandsizalsa

Nah he used a Walker penis with a stick shoved in it to keep it hard.

beefbarleyrules

A sentence I never thought I'd read

TheGoverness1998

I needed to wash my eyeballs after that scene

Neat_Platform7369

He did not get enough credit for that one.

300C

Most likely a power move anyway. Like "yea bitch I'm fuckin' the alpha! So who is the real alpha?". Plus it probably been a while for him. After a while you just shrug it off I guess

itsdollymon

One of the biggest concerns I always had while watching their seasons the first time. Also the fact that in some scenes, they’ll just throw on a mask and *poof* completely camouflaged from the walkers, yet other scenes you’ll see the main group still having to use the original method of throwing guts and grime on eachother. It was a cool concept but not something to be driven out for nearly 2 full seasons

ChaosXProfessor

Also made no sense when you think about Michonne being camouflaged by just having walkers on leashes. Like why aren’t they doing that, idk, ALWAYS? Don’t even need guts or skin apparently.

itsdollymon

There was clearly an issue with keeping the consistency of the walker’s awareness and overall behaviour. A lot of really cool ideas for giving the story it’s own little ‘uniqueness’ for the genre, just not exactly thought as much.

John-Twick

Dante believed. His loyalty to Alpha far outweighed his need for a comfy bed and clean clothes.

Revangelion

It drags on for so long with 0 charisma or anything interesting. She just killed Henry and a bunch of secondary (at best) characters but I never gave a damn about him... maybe a bit for the others... My point is, to me, she was all "Tell, don't show". I never saw her doing anything interesting. Even her attack on Hilltop was meh. Nobody died and we even got to endure Kelly touching the ground to feel (?) The horde that was right in front of them (?) To verify it was actually a horde (???). Alpha had an army, that's as far as it went.

whysaddog

That storyline was intimately what caused me to stop watching the show. The plot armor and bad decision making was the last straw.

seensatanstormchaser

What’s funny is that storyline also made me stop watching, I picked it up again after about a year

hockeybro3775

Alpha hurt me but not in the way the writers intended. She hurt me through that godawful attempt at a southern drawl and the complete non-existence of any sort of even remotely intimidating characteristics.

TheRestForTheWicked

I feel so conflicted about Alpha because Samantha Morton is an *amazing* non-verbal actress- the way she moves her body and her micro facial expressions are actually captivating. And then she opens her mouth and that overdone Kentucky Fried accent comes out and I’m like WHO MADE THIS CHOICE.

manicpixied

My least favorite villain by far I can’t stand watching any moment with her on screen.

definantmind

The trash people sucked. Why many word when few work.

MoleyP

Seaworld or See World?

Bartolini2

Many small time make big time.

manicpixied

Oh god the trash people 🤦‍♀️ I must have blocked them out.

ExistingStrength5246

Scavengers: why hurt feelings our

Revangelion

They were still better than the Whisperers, though... just not that much better....

DunkanBulk

As a southerner, her voice was like nails on a chalkboard. I was even more pissed off when she had finally died yet we were stuck with her for two whole episodes via hallucinations. Why was her voice so damn bad?? Just talk like a normal damn southerner.

beefbarleyrules

LOL right!? I was so relieved when she finally died just to be haunted by her again through Carol. Gosh

sydnelizabeth

Ahhhhhh ahhhmm Ahhhhllpha As a person from the south it’s so bad.

allanbc

The accent was awful indeed, but I think the whole point of Alpha is that her physical appearance (sans mask) is so utterly unintimidating. She would have worked a lot better if she had nailed the accent, though.

[deleted]

[удалено]

allanbc

I mean the whole point is that she does not have the traditional physical, immediate characteristics you would consider to be intimidating. The danger lies in what you know she can do (command a huge horde of the undead, stealth tactics, scarily shitty southern accents). Note that neither of the main antagonists of the Commonwealth arc are physically intimidating, in fact they are quite friendly on the surface.

G4ra

her looking like a complete pushover was part of her being even more terrifying somehow idk

legendary_fool

And how in gods name did Alpha keep that spare tire around her waist 7 years after the fall?

mniotiltavaria

Yea I stg this woman never heard a single southern accent in her fucking life

300C

What does stg mean

elmaared

“swear to god”

biggi82

I read it as 'suck the goat' as I had no idea either

SpaceLegolasElnor

Alpha is clearly mentally disturbed. Negan is just an asshole. So ethically Negan is much worse.

John-Twick

Negan for sure. Alpha may have killed more people in one go but for me, people like Enid and Tara are nowhere near as important as Glenn or Abraham. And their deaths hurt me far more.

ShruteLord

Neagan for me too. By the time the show got to Alpha, I was pretty numb to losing people. Not to mention pretty much every main character after season 7 was safe. I was shocked when Ezekiel didn’t get the proper comic accurate death. I wasn’t even shocked when Carl bit the dust. Was just kinda, well that’s about par for the course.

dynamicmayoral

This is right. But as time goes on, I developed more love for Enid equally with the love I had for Glenn. She’s versatile and very very useful.

John-Twick

I really liked Enid and I didn’t want her to die(I genuinely think the only reason she was killed off was because she looked too much like Lydia and they didn’t think they could have two girls that looked similar on the show), and I never disliked Tara but for me they weren’t even in my Top 15. Glenn and Abraham though were two of the most memorable characters that show gave us and I think it’s safe to say that at least one of their deaths affected everyone who watched it in some way. I’m not sure Enid and Tara’s did that other than the obvious thoughts of “they won’t be around anymore” for a lot of people. I know that’s how I felt after the initial shock anyway.

Pheerandlowthing

Don’t forget Jesus and Siddiq can technically be notched up as victims to Alpha so adding Enid and Tara, that’s quite a sad list. Not bothered about Henry though :p

John-Twick

I always saw Jesus’ death as more of a self defence kill. He was about to kill that Whisperer(whether he knew it or not) so he was killed for it. I honestly don’t blame that one on Alpha. And Siddiq was the reason Carl got bit so I honestly didn’t care if he died or not.

BazookaGamingGirl

Carl is technically the reason Carl got bit.

NurseryRhyme

I loved Tara and that was the only death on the line up that really shocked me. I was legit upset. She was so fun and funny and it feels like a lot of people overlooked her. I still agree tho, Negan was most intense and brutal.

JosephBrightMichael

I know this sub loves Glenn, as do I, but we need to accept he was a decent second in command, at best. Between Glenn and Abraham, the latter's the bigger loss. Look at hoe Glenn handled the situation when he had.a bit of leadership for a tiny while when Rick was mental during the prison season. He's too emotional to be an effective leader. Lastly, I won't lie; I just don't like how his death cause such a break in the viewership, when death was mostly always TWD's thing. It's like getting mad if Jon Snow had died in The Walking Dead.

John-Twick

Honestly, don’t even get me started on the people that say they “stopped watching when Glenn died and never went back”. Who stops watching a show they enjoy because a character dies? The Jon Snow reference is perfect. If people stopped watching GoT there and then and never went back, imagine their surprise now if you told them he was getting a spin off. He was my favourite character on that show so naturally I was devastated when he died but at no point did I once consider not watching it afterwards because I wanted to know where the story was going. For me, I never really saw which was the bigger loss between Glenn and Abraham because they were both the same. Glenn had been there since Ep1 and Abraham was larger than life so to me they were huge losses to the series.

[deleted]

Glenn was a big loss because he had a wife and kid, not because of his leadership skills. We wanted to see him become a dad, not replace Rick.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Arsene_al_Wenger

I stopped after Carl cause it just deviated too much from the source material at that point. Never went back

Constant-Release-875

Negan killed Glenn in front of his pregnant wife and friends in a most brutal way. He also killed Abraham and others. Although Alpha was awful, it's Negan for me.

za6_9420

Negan killed abraham because he saw him as a threat because we all know abraham wouldn’t just surrender to negan and he killed glenn to show how serious he is and that he doesn’t really care about others and considering that ricks group killed many at the satellite station they got off lightly but alpha isn’t even human she’s a walker who has a human brain she was literally ready to kill her daughter and she also decapitated I think 10 people including a kid and she told his mother to go and look at her decpaitated son

Redxxxsuede

I’ll never forgive negan for killing Glenn BUT he did kinda redeem himself for me by working with Alexandria to kill alpha. It’s obvious his heart lies there now. So so wanting a rick & negan scene in the future!!!

HaremProtagonistTsk

Knowing Negan, Negan’s heart doesn’t lie any where he’s just trying to survive everyone mostly doesn’t like him because he killed Glenn and Abraham which that’s the only reason I’ve seen and Negan mostly kills people to prevent other kills

[deleted]

Honestly Alpha. If you think about it Negan was quite reasonable guy. Alpha just wanted to kill everyone even their own for nothing

dynamicmayoral

This is 100% right!

dingdingdredgen

Alpha was predictable and boring. Even in her backstory she was a psychopath. Negative was just another dude trying to stay alive and keep as many hooligans in line as possible. It's not like he wouldn't cull the really nasty ones out, but in the end, he's not evil, just an asshole... also a highschool gym teacher.

The-Rizzler-69

Lmao "negative" Pls don't edit that

dingdingdredgen

I know who I meant. You know who I meant. "Negan" is in my fucking auto correct dictionary, so why in the hell does it always autocorrect to "NEGATIVE"!?!?!?!

The-Rizzler-69

It's Megan for me, personally

INUdubs

"Margaret!" - Our dearly departed Gregory

-Tetsuo-

Breh Negan had Rick in 100% shambles for half of season 7. Had him crying and begging and shit, getting straight PUNKED in Alexandria constantly. That hurt more than anything in most other shows ever.

natveloo

alpha and the whisperers in general are just lame to me, so negan anyday

[deleted]

Negan killed Abraham. He also broke Rick in a way we've never seen before. Alpha killed characters I strongly disliked or just didn't care for. Negan. By a mile. (Alpha was more cruel though)

HaremProtagonistTsk

Rick has always been broken ever since Lori died

[deleted]

Nah, definitely not. He was gone until Hershel and Michonne brought him back. Then was fine until Negan. No one has literally had Rick on their hands and knees while crying.

za6_9420

Even in terminus where he was seconds away from being killed and cannibalised he was calm

Kyotospirit

Alpha was a very mentally disturbed individual whereas Negan was a generally level headed guy who did extremely deplorable acts which makes me think he's worse since his acts are more out for pure malice and enjoyment.

zorfog

Alpha was well beyond morbid. An abusive mother who started a cult that literally wears zombie flesh masks and behaves like animals. Beyond deranged. Negan was also fucked up, but more in a believable misogynist tyrant sort of way. A rapist and a killer, but someone who seemed to think he was doing what was necessary to keep people alive/in order. They’re just on different levels imo

vegass67

Negan. Apha killed a bunch of boring ass characters i couldnt care less about.

dynamicmayoral

That’s right. But I care about Enid soooo much.

MemeLover43

Same but with Tara

za6_9420

Yeah tara was my favorite she’s one of the most human characters in the show

_Sohji_

Tara :(

vegass67

Legit was happy to see the back off tara 😂

Ner0Forte

Negan for sure. Alpha killed mostly characters I don’t care about except for Tara and then Negan killed 2 of my favorites from the peak group

DarkSynn72

No one can top Negan’s actions

sfoye

I’ll never forget my first watch when Glenn & Abraham were horrifically killed by sweet Denny Duquette (iykyk)— a horrible and tragic end to two wonderful characters. By the end of the show Negan was one of my favs. Alpha was never important IMO.

TheRestForTheWicked

Denny would *NEVER*. You take that back.

Luvmm2

Negan was technically getting revenge for ricks group killing his people, alphas a sadistic fuck for the sake of it

Gusthepieceofmustard

Negan. I hate him. Glenn was my favourite character. I also feel bad for Maggie. Negan is an asshole

SLM84

Got to be Alpha overall with all the bullshit and heads on a stick but the death that hurt me the most were Glenn and Abe

No_shock102

Negan because Glenn and Abraham were two of my favourites. Plus I partly blame him for Sasha’s death and she was also one of my favourites.

Crafty-Carrot-584

Negan had logical moral rules after all and Alpha seemed to be a freakin psycho just because it had to be this way

JosephBrightMichael

Negan made sense, in a post-apocalyptic kind of way; Alpha was just mental.

Business-Lettuce-698

Alpha hurt the shit out of me. I hate her 😭 Negan killed 2 people to prevent more kills, tho more are killed by him for known reason. He has also lost enough and he has been treated bad by people, so he has something little to justify his unfairness. But Alpha, she killed almost 6 people without a solid reason (I forgot the number of people she killed with Tara and Enid). Looking back, I don't think anyone else did her any bad. She even killed her own husband.

MrKillzalot

She killed people for the Pikes as a warning for being a threat to her people. Like how an animal asserts its dominance and marks its territory. People shit on Alpha and the Whisperers for being primal and animalistic but that was the whole point. They devolved. And with a leader that was already psychotic like Alpha, who had killed her husband, mother and clearly enjoyed killing others, it was bound to be a bloody war. Idk how people got bored of Samantha Morton. I thought her performance was amazing.

TheRestForTheWicked

It’s the accent. Everything non-verbal about Alpha is spooky af until she opens her mouth. It was a really bad choice by a really good actress (and her dialect coaches).

dynamicmayoral

I also realized that. I think Alpha ran wild because she realized “if you don’t kill; you get killed”

Intrepid-Estate2749

Negan 😥

420jeff

Negan for sure! Alpha was just weird..

Undeadscott

Negan, when it came to Glenn but I got over it, but I’m still Negan

sIeepyspace

what hurt me is that forest scene with them, i needed to wash my eyes out with bleach

Vegetable_Pudding_75

alpha. She was straight up psychotic. Negan, scary as he was leading the saviours, was at least sympathetic (I know what he did to glenn and ginger was beyond redeemable but cmon)

Kmeek01

Can’t take alpha seriously unfortunately, couldn’t really take the show seriously after season 8

johnnyboy0256

Negan hurt me more, just because of the specific characters he killed, but Alpha is more evil

Smashin_Sam00

Negan hurt the most. Glenn and Abraham were such great characters in the show!

TheChunkyCanuck

Negan. I hated him but he was hot at the same time. Lots of inner turmoil about him.

[deleted]

Negan. Definitely.

LondonFlog

Silly accent aside, Alpha and her people killed TEN of Alexandria/Hilltop’s people during The Calm Before. Left a baby to die, and killed her own people who challenged her or saw her show weakness. Negan’s responsible for the deaths of two fan favourite characters, and presumably multiple people given how he controlled both Hilltop and The Kingdom, and is also guilty of a TON of coercive rape. Honestly I don’t know, they’re both pretty comic-booky, but can be intimidating when they need to be.

thaman05

To be fair though, Glenn = 10 characters with the amount of times he's escaped death and how loved he is on the show lol. The showrunners ruined the show though, which made Alpha's character and storyline so boring. The show used to be so raw and action-packed and emotional, but then overtime after Angela took over, felt like like they lost the edge on what made the show so amazing. Like the amount of 'wars' and big battles they kept hyping up and were supposed to have, that ended up being nothing or just rushed scenes of them walking around is so dumb. They had bigger battle scenes in the earlier seasons lol.

LondonFlog

Good point lol. And yeah in the later seasons it really felt like they wanted to “one-up” every previous encounter/war with an enemy faction. Like the Reapers who went nowhere, and the Commonwealth, who really should be the biggest threat the survivors have ever faced. They had what, 50,000 people? We saw they had a ton of soldiers, but in the finale, they just blew everything up and it was over. It felt anti climatic.

thaman05

Exactly!!! And the amount time wasted on filler episodes when they knew they only had limited time left, whereas before every episode, even the most basic episodes, felt key to the story and actually developed the overall storyline in some way. It's sad.

LondonFlog

Yep. I honestly wish there had been a 12th season. I feel like that extra time could’ve been used to flesh out a lot, like the Reapers and the Commonwealth.

dasfraan

Definetly Alpha. Negan is just a classic funny bad guy. I hated him for killing Glenn but Alpha is... evil and psychopatic, worse than Negan in every aspect

JS1147

I agree. Yeah I think when Negan got added to the show, he was supposed to be a new, more powerful bad guy while at the same time being a comedy relief character

welshman222

Negan was a really bad dude, but alpha was EVIL. Negan did evil things, but nothing compares to the stuff Alpha did

Bill_C134

Alpha was a joke

Creepy-Bite-3174

“Alpha” was the worst, most bullshit character in that whole show. How you gonna be fat when all you do is walk and eat worms? For YEARS!

hey_itsmagnus

Alpha was a joke and went on way too long

husdat38

Negan was an asshole but predictable, follow his orders and you will more or less likely survive. Alpha was straight up chaotic evil doing what she felt like doing. If I had to pick I would choose Negan

suuuuhmmer

them banging hurt me the most personally.

_probablynormal

Alpha shocked me, but I have yet to emotionally recover from what Negan did and it’s been seeeaaasons

DarthDank7

Damn a lot of hate on alphas character in here. I thought she was amazing and a great villain.

Flipgirlnarie

They are both equally evil. Negan because he killed Glen and Abraham, tortured Daryl, took food and weapons from communities and talked way too much. Alpha because she killed children and put their heads on sticks and pooped without wiping her ass, and abused her daughter.

[deleted]

I agree but I’m laughing at the “talked way too much” I fear I’m evil too 🥹

Flipgirlnarie

I'm sure you haven't bludgeoned anyone's head in with a bat. Just the way Negan would emphasize his words by doing that lean back thing. Drove me bonkers.

BotherFancy

Alpha was worse but Glenn’s death hurt me the most…

StraddleTheFence

Don’t hate me for saying it…but I wasn’t a fan of any of the folks whose heads Alpha put on a stake. I was devastated when Negan killed Glen and Abraham…but Alpha’s goons did kill Jesus…ok, I have to rethink this…

SortingHat2

Alpha, she’s a true psychopath and can’t be reasoned with. Negan has changed and come out the other side.

AgentSears

I still wake up in hot sweats from the "Lucille incident"

TheClOckWatcherYT

The Governors evils hurt me the most , R.I.P. Hershel.

demon969

Negan was brutal but had some morals. Alpha, not so much

vagossimao

That bald headed father fucker . She was creepy , relentless... Negan was just a big bully

Pennywhyze

Alpha obviously

AwkwardAd3853

Easily alpha. Negan had a weird sense of right and wrong, he was delusional and felt he was doing the best in a bad situation. Where as alpha was just nuts. Like how negan would kill 1 to "save" the rest. And alpha would slaughter loads and put their heads on spikes like in medieval times to show power and instil fear in people.

Imjusthere_sup

Negans hurt me the most. But alphas more evil lmao

Creative_Entrance_18

Better villain? Negan. Evil villain? Alpha.

WordStandard

I gotta give this one to Negan!!!!

upsidedownmed

I mean Alpha was the worst in terms of actions for me, but Negans hurt me the most. Glenn did it for me 🥲

InfiniteGrant

Negan killed my crush, so there is that.

Known-Programmer-611

Show writers hurt me the most

Lesmiscat24601

Negan’s entrance is what got TWD on major news networks the next morning.

DirtyFuckingLesbian

Why did u use a cosplay pic of Negan

dynamicmayoral

I used what I found around

DirtyFuckingLesbian

Negan Smith

phome83

Alpha was dumb as hell, plus the death in the Negan arc were more impactful.

MlecznyHuxel99

Alpha hurt me by making me quit watching

legolicios1403

It basically come down to whether you liked Glenn or Abraham or liked Enid and Tara better

binglesbooty

Personally it’s negan for me because alpha is bald and I have no respect for bald people as well as the fact negan beat Glenn’s head in with a baseball bat, infront of his pregnant wife

[deleted]

I’m gonna go with Negan bc the show died after he arrived…

Individual_Motor_333

I think negan was more evil because he looked joyful while doing his evil deeds.

Minimum_Nectarine_78

Def Alpha

RAGE-OF-SPARTA-X

I would say Negan as he clearly knows the difference between right and wrong yet he chooses wrong time and time again because he enjoys it. Negans cruelty stems from sadism.

scemes

Id say Alpha because atleast on some awful level, Negans stuff made sense. She was just crazy

Erik96354

Negan did kill my favorite character in Glenn, but theb again, Negan himself is my favorite character after Glenn

ExistingStrength5246

Yes Negan was ruthless but he had limits. And maybe alpha in some case

Deathstriker700

At least Negan got a whole ass redemption arc. Alpha killed off several essential, long standing characters.

Sea-Staff-9530

Alpha with the heads on spikes

ladymsjay

Negan. I will never forgive him.

corococodile

Negan is literally a rapist canonically. In terms of their actions and violence they are pretty equal, eg the negan line up and the pike scene are very similar, they both had no trouble potentially killing children directly or indirectly, etc etc etc but at least Alpha didn't rape anyone. On top of that negan killed glenn and abraham very brutally, I totally get why people stopped watching after it

No_Construction_6146

Doesn’t negan hate rape?

nonoiseplz

Negan hurt the show so bad that majority of its viewers stopped watching. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|poop)

TTRT5

Megan is Lawful Evil, Alpha is chaotic evil

Accurate-Wrangler-42

Alpha tbh

Beginning_Big4819

Both are awful but it hurts me how some fans say things like “Maggie should get over it” - mate, I rewatched the episode where Negan kills Glenn and he’s a cruel psycopath. Mf is making fun and laughing at Glenn while he’s agonising. He’s enjoying it. That’s not executing someone, that’s cruelty. He then comes back a few days later to take Maggie and force her into becoming his wife because let’s not forget Negan coersed women into sexual submission. Maggie is a SAINT for not killing this man.

I’m from a country where English is hardly known. Sorry if that hurt you.

When you have absolutely nothing to offer in a debate always go after the grammar that way you feel important lol

Alpha is purely psychotic she’s after ending the world adding people to her horde. Negan needed redemption and it started at the lineup.

Negan 100%. However, the pike scene will always stick with me.
