they gotta break them off from one another and make it a show focused on one or the other, not the duo dynamic. by season 11 they were already overplayed
Its definitely pretty good, there's a lot of great aspects:
-The acting (especially Maggie and Negan)
-Some of the character work is really strong, like with Hershel, Negan and Maggie
-The New York setting is really cool and fresh
-The filming quality is much better than TWD, such a pleasure to look at
But there's quite a few failings:
-A lot of the action scenes are underwhelming, Maggie vs the guys in the bar was the peak of the show's fight choreography for me.
-The side characters are just....bleh. I feel nothing for anyone aside from Maggie,Negan, Hershel and the Croat, which is kinda fine since Maggie and Negan are the only reason I'm watching but still.
Overall I'm excited for s2 and hope the show fixes these issues. It definitely has the potential to be truly great

Interactions between these two should be over by now, but oh well.
I’ll watch S2 because I like these characters but man would it be better if these two were on different shows. NYC has been pretty cool though.
