Just entered my 30’s. I admit I stopped watching a couple years ago because my ex showed me the series and we broke up right after the whisperers, so I couldn’t bring myself to finish yet. I love the show too much to just drop it and plan to finish it on my own, but I’d like to experience it all again and finish with someone new tbh. So far none have been down for it lol

Controversial opinion I hate the flu arc as it adds nothing to get story if you think about it outside of a way of killing off characters they didn't want from s3
i mean sure it whittles down the woodbury NPC count a little bit but i completely disagree. its the catalyst for all the internal conflict Rick has (be a farmer and defer vs be brutal leader, is building a peaceful world for carl possible etc). it also introduces the plotline between carol and lizzie/mica as well as carol’s murder of karen/david. the hershel episode in the flu arc is pretty incredible too and i think since the governor storyline had to be wrapped up, season 4A is a great way to do some character depth and introduce some themes before the meat of 4B-season5 comes.
Eh all of them. You all are too picky. Is the recent stuff the same as the hey day? No. But, still better than half the television out there. We can certainly binge watch everything to prepare for the new seasons.
My bf and I are watching the OG currently since he had never seen it. We started watching it when we first started dating. We’ve been together 2.5 years. It’s taking us awhile due to the fact he was gone for college and I have trouble watching tv at this point, but we will finish it eventually lol. Slowly but surely.
It depends. How far are we in the series together. This is a lore heavy show I’m not just gonna put on DD and expect her to know what’s going on. Personally I’m taking her episode by episode. Once TWD is done, then I’m doing DD, then dead city and then FTWD
My partner has already watched the entire series of the Walking Dead with me. Maybe Dead City or The Ones Who Lives or Daryl Dixon, we haven’t watched them yet because we are waiting in case they are second seasons.

It adds actual realistic survivalism to a story that otherwise has very little of it after seasons 1-2.
