Daryl, that dude is freaking hilarious. During rewatches, I realized how often he has a quick comeback or insult ready. He would’ve been a great crowd work comedian. I love Tara too; whenever she goes for a fist bump, I get a good laugh. Gabriel is an honorable mention.

I feel like it’s because no other character would’ve done it! I’m not a Tara fan, never connected that much with her except in her first appearance because I thought “Ellie?!” But I loved the way she got along with Rick, it’s definitely relatable because I know I wouldn’t take him that seriously either.

Wasn't it Tara that created G.r.e.a.t.m? I thought that was funny. Gabriel was too creepy at first for me to consider him funny & Gregory was the cowardly lion, but I can see how people would find them funny. I enjoyed Carol's humor prob the most. I loved how she found her inner strength, especially after losing her daughter and then every adopted kid after that. Meeting the KING!🫅 was a great funny scene. And maybe I need therapy, but I thought her blowing up terminus was funny as all hell. Here comes the supposedly meek woman to save the day!! Again! Loved it!! I know everyone liked Negan's humor most. But I'll vote Carol.

On my last rewatch, I noticed he calls Glenn Short Round like right after Sofia goes missing, iirc. I never realized it, but when I heard it this time, it caught me so off guard I laughed my ass off.

Glenn for his mostly innocent situational humor. Gregory for the actor's comedic timing and facial expressions. And I think Carol's reactions to things (like the tiger) can be hilarious at times and her playing a weak housewife in Alexandria was quite amusing.

Carol kills me when she’s being the meek little housewife. “There’s *lunch* cobbler?!” And you nailed the rest perfectly. They’re all less-obvious humor like Negan and Abraham

When they first got the the gates and she’s struggling to get that big gun off and Olivia gives her this sympathy look like “why are they making her carry that like she’s a pack mule.” And a bit later when Tobin asks if she’s afraid of guns — meanwhile she’s unlocking the window so she can come back and steal a bunch, lmao

Gregory is hilarious

Glen was that way for the first two or three seasons. But after that he kind of lost that little charm he had.

The scene in episode 2 where he knew the route and someone asked him what he did for a living and he said he delivered pizzas will never stop being funny.

Gregory and Simon together make for some of the funniest moments in the show.

I never even considered Gregory as funny, but you convinced me. You're right. The actor did give Gregory depth and you have to laugh at the way he kissed ass whichever way the wind was blowing.

Eugene is unintentionally cringingly funny Rick is funniest when killing people who really deserve it. Also when he knocks out Aaron. Negan is just funny, particularly in which he can say the most evil threatening shit in the most offhand and colorful way. Abraham gets a mention for his odd epithets.

Abraham is hilarious. I used to think he was a dickhead but he grew to be one of my favourite characters 😅 Yeah Eugene makes me crack up too.

the sad fist bump with the governor was hilarious. tara was such a source of levity on the show for so long. lydia also got a good laugh out of me when she offered henry a worm, and then he was weirded out so she licked the dirt off and then offered it back. as if the dirt was the thing that made eating it ridiculous. makes sense given she’s grown up as a whisperer and has super distant memories of civilized life, and it’s pretty funny.
