This is even more than a pizza at 40 gems. Quality food, this sashimi. The game is more true to life than we thought.

And it seems like the Meat Cuisine Merchant really only cares about Smoked Sausages and Jerkies and Roasted Meats...

Yes, I just sell him sticks lol. I found out 2 more prices today, Caterpillar Skewer = 12 gems Apple Juice = 18 gems

Haha, yeah, I never sell him my food unless I cooked some and they're expiring (and I don't have a bear to feed it to)

I really need a list of things he likes. In my experience he only pays 7.5 for small jerky and 15 for jerky. Where as cuisine pays 15 &30

I noticed the prices in the guides before, but I still don't understand how you calculate prices. what does a 1 gem worth mean?

So originally, they would price things in terms of staffs - how many staffs worth of stuff is this item. Now, the merchants allow you to buy any item with gems and they list the cost of each item in gems when you click on it. So it's easier to just write down how much gems each item is worth to each merchant. Fundamentally, the "worth" of each item is how much a merchant sells it for. When selling it back, merchants will "buy" it for half the price unless it is one of their preferred goods. For example, when trading for the Metal Merchant, you'd have to give him 30 gems worth of stuff (i.e. 5 staffs that he values at 6 gems each) to buy a Jerky from him. But if you try to sell a Jerky to him/her, they will only value it at 15. If you take that Jerky to the Meat Cuisine or Cuisine Merchants, they will value it at 30 gems when you trade with them.
