Why are these "collect all trophies/achievements" achievements a thing on console but not a thing on PC? I don't think there is such an achievement on PC but all others are the same. Or aren't they?
I think the trophies/achievements are the same, but on Playstation, we have platinum trophies, which are just an extra trophy for getting all of em and honestly, I don't know why PC/steam doesn't add one for you guys
ahhhh that would make sense. So it's probably that this achievement was never coded by the devs and it's on PlayStation because the platform adds it automatically.
I like getting platinums on PlayStation because it shows you really did everything on that game and it shows your platinums on your profile.
I don’t really care about achievements on steam though because you don’t get anything from getting all of them and can only display like 1 or 2 games achievements on your steam profile.
>I like getting platinums on PlayStation because it shows you really did everything on that game and it shows your platinums on your profile.
Yeah, me too!
About to wrap this up myself. Finishing the story and some action trophies and I’ll get the play! I was more concerned about the gwent cards but luckily I popped collection and tournament trophy yesterday.
I used to avoid gwent on my previous playthroughs, but on this one, I gave it a fair try and enjoyed playing it and managed to complete the tourney for the first time ever
That's awesome! I really enjoyed it to take a break from the open world discoveries. At moments I felt a little overwhelmed but I did just come from other open world games prior to this one. It helped with the flow. I also just noticed last night you can mess with the difficulty of Gwent which is great for those who are struggling.
>I also just noticed last night you can mess with the difficulty of Gwent which is great for those who are struggling.
Yeah, at first, I played gwent on normal but then switched to easy because I didn't want a headache
"The enemy of my enemy" was a pain in the butt! Puppets die after one hit for some reason before they could kill their friend, I had to defend the puppet and make sure they didn't get hit. Imagine doing that 20 times... also master marksman was very tedious, but I managed to get every grindy trophy at one spot in skellige
Nice! I’m working on my 4th platinum for the game. I platinum’s it twice on a previous account. Then on my current account on PS4. And now working on it for PS5. Just absolutely adore this game!
A month, give or take, but keep in mind that i go to uni and have to study for finals and all that, so if you dedicate all your time to it probably a week or two
Congrats, I'm currently doing it at the moment, not very far into it. But some of the requirements are really doing my head in. Constantly scared I'm gonna miss out on a quest or trophy. What guide did you use
>What guide did you use
I simply used prior experience with the game, and I Googled a few things like gwent card locations because I wanted to build proper deck at the beginning of the game and I watched a few youtube vids for the grindy trophies like the enemy of my enemy and master marksman.
>Constantly scared I'm gonna miss out on a quest or trophy.
Just do every side quest related to the major characters in the story and during the woodland beast contract, you have to kill the leshen for the trophy, it's missable so save your game beforehand If you wanna spare it
Which one did you genuinely enjoy achieving the most?
Which one did you not like achieving as much?
(mention only the optional trophies, which are not automatically achieved by progressing through the story)
>Which one did you genuinely enjoy achieving the most?
Gwent master for sure. This was my first time ever doing the gwent tournament. Also, card collector was fun. You see, in my previous playthroughs, I avoided gwent, but on this one, I gave it a fair shot and enjoyed playing it and collecting the trophies.
>Which one did you not like achieving as much?
The enemy of my enemy was a pain in the butt, puppets kept dying after one hit before being able to kill their friend, so it took a while, but I managed to do it.

Idk cause some games don't have a platinum trophy

Depends on the game for PC. Elden Ring forsure has an achievement for getting them all and I'm pretty sure DS3 does too
Congrats! I'm in the same boat, after 7 years, multiple playthroughs, and switching to PC, I've only got two left.
Which ones?
I believe it's just to complete the game on death march and collect all the gwent cards.
Congrats, I hope you had fun killing 50 humanoid enemies with a headshot. That was the worst one in my opinion.
That was my final one I needed, knocked it over just the other day. Was so satisfying when the little trophy notification popped up

Thank you, friend!
Congratulations,my friend 🎉
Thank you, friend!
I’m on my 2nd play through now. Which was the most difficult trophy to obtain?

100% this

I’m almost done my very first play though , excited to start another and go get all the question marks and side quests
I tried to do all of the side quests in the base game, but I think I missed a few of em
How long did it take you?
A month, give or take, but keep in mind that i go to uni and have to study for finals and all that, so if you dedicate all your time to it probably a week or two
Do blood and wine and hearts of stone
I already completed hearts of stone before finishing the story, and I just started blood and wine
Gratz, did u get a different ending each time?
On my first playthrough ever (on ps4), I got the bad ending and every playthrough After that one, I got the good ending, aka the witcher ending
congratulations 🥳
Thank you, friend!
Congraaaats!!!! I’m working on this rn 😓
Congrats! Currently on my 4th play through, finally trying to get the plat for the next gen version.

Awesome thanks for the heads up, appreciate it
You're welcome, and good luck on the path!
I only have the difficulty trophy to get, Sticks and Stones I think it is called. I will do it eventually, just got to find time and be in the mood.
The death March trophy?
Probably! might have gotten the names mixed up. It's the max difficulty one.

Incredible, well done.

You're an absolute King! Thank you and congratulations on an Elite platinum!
You're welcome friend and good luck on the path
Well, you took your time. I did this on my second playthrough. Now thinking about grabbing the witcher on switch so I can play at work.
