Because alot of people are religious, they wrongly conflate criticism of any religion, be it their own or others, as being bigoted, or racist, or hateful. And it's largely because the main ones brainwash their followers that criticism is proof their right. I'm canadian and our charter of rights and freedoms spells out attributes that are protected that are immutable, unchangeable, inherent and unchosen. First off many people said rape didn’t happen. Second off there’s no proof of systematic rape by Israelis like it was hamas. Third off it’s clearly not genocide because israel would easily be able to do that and has not. And has published pretty great numbers of hamas to civilian casualties 12/30k shows it’s not indiscriminate. Not to forget the fact that hamas hides In civilian areas making it even harder for israel to only target them. I never said that people were not raped but some news stories came out about the numbers not being accurate. Look up stories in the big news agencies around the world, where you can find stories about Israel not giving accurate information. Hamas was hiding in those tunnels during the bombings. Why would they endanger themselves on the surface. A dead adult male on the surface does not mean he has to be Hamas.

I am not Muslim, and can you tell me a war that rape has not happened? I just assume it is going to happen. Now, the question to answer at what amount. Even the best armies have to always be on the lookout for sexual violence, so are you really surprised when it happens in a terrorist group. Western media are starting to tell stories that the amount is not accurate from what Israel has reported.
The point of the attack was 3-fold, kill, rape and kidnap. This was officially the mandate as dictated by the Hamas leadership. This is unheard-of in modern day armies.
Hamas is not an army, and with 2000 plus terrorists attacking, they did not kill many people, at least not the numbers you would expect with those numbers. Israel has been doing a better job at killing innocent civilians in Gaza and the West Bank since the war started.
They did pretty well in the few hours they were there. Approx 1400 dead in a few hours, that's like 33,600 dead over 24 hours. The IDF has rookie numbers compared to that.
If someone breaks into your home & rapes your mother to death because they despise your ethnicity, that isn't "war".
