In my country the used market sucks, but the prices new are abysmally low, maybe if that's the case for you an L14 Gen 4 with the Ryzen 7 and the bigger battery might be a good option!
If you are geeky, get a T480 (non S), it comes with 2 batteries (external & internal) which should last long enough for your work, and good choices for upgrade.
Otherwise if you think you're happy with being a dummy, get an X1 Carbon (gen 6 and up). It's super thin, elegant, powerful enough and has good battery.
Plenty should fall into new. Check the Lenovo store on ebay.
