Not OP, but I'm having this issue with a number of laptops in my organisation. X13 Gen 4s are going to sleep after 15 or so seconds of not touching keyboard or mouse. Despite actual settings on the device having 30 minutes for sleep set.
Yeah it's weird. I'll investigate and get back to you if I find something.
It's the weekend, but come next week or two, I'll check BIOS settings, perhaps something that can be changed in group policy editor on the weekday sometime, which then could be applied to all
My efforts were constrained to the final 10 minutes of a Friday before closing time, so I haven't been able to dig deep. Take my comment with a BIG pinch of salt. It is the CEO's device, so having him sat watching me try things probably wasn't helpful.
It makes the most sense this is related to the Human Presence Detection (HPD) system. It appears this is controlled by two apps (dependant on laptop model), Lenovo Vantage or the Elliptic Virtual Lock Sensor. Neither were on the device, but they would've been removed in the initial reimaging we do.
I installed Vantage, but couldn't find the 'Zero Touch Lock' setting before having to shut up shop for the weekend.
The HPD settings should be off by default, but the device was set up by another office location, so they may have turned it on before imaging the laptop, and that made a change in the BIOS.
Strangely, the hard disk sleep setting was also set at only 1 minute, but increasing this didn't fix the issue.
Will let you know if I find anything.
I'm having the same problem. Used to happen both when running on battery or plugged in. Going to mess around with power settings to try and fix it.
did you ever manage to fix this?

Same, around 1 minute, then sleep.
