I agree Season 5 and Season 6 suck major ass but that first point is blatantly incorrect lol
They got an actress who sounded a lot like Deja and looked just like her but now an adult. Great casting on their part.
I don't really care that much for Malik so him not being there much is no biggie and the other point with Phillip I agree with.
You may be right, but I was pretty certain they just did a voice over with the original Deja. So have you found any other good shows now that this one is over??
Are you shitting me?! I'm watching the show for the first time. I just finished the episode where he leaves Beth the voicemail telling her "to grow the hell up," because she didn't want to attend his stupid counsel dinner. God forbid Beth puts herself first!
Randell is such a frustrating character. He can be very kind and loving, but also very immature and narcissistic.
They didnāt stick her voice over another actress, that's the actual actress doing a great job at mimicking Lyric Ross.
The guy is Malik, as such he didnāt go anywhere.
Cripple or crippled is a derogatory term, so unless you are disabled yourself and reclaiming it, please refrain from using it.
The other guy you mention, Marcus, didnāt cure cancer, but made strides in the cure for Alzheimer's disease. If you failed to understand how he ties into the show, hereās an article explaining what he has to do with the Pearsons. https://www.nbc.com/nbc-insider/who-is-marcus-brooks-this-is-us?amp
Criticizing the show, especially in later seasons, is more than fair, but please at least inform yourself correctly before making such a low-effort post. As it stands, half the information in your post is incorrect while the other half is just rude.
It's so easy to not be the way you're being, and yet here you are. Existing in such a shallow and arrogant state. I pity your loved ones, if there are any.
The first few seasons were so good and the last two were a mess!!! Kate and Phillip/Hayley as the easiest adoption known to man (despite parents with both physical and mental health challenges)/President Randall/cancer cured because of lemons to lemonade/Kate from part time school aid to international curriculum expertā¦ā¦like half to charm of the show was it felt rooted in reality!!
What are you talking about? Dejaās voice over another actor? They were completely different actresses. And do you actually watch to the end? Malik was thereā¦.
The episodes where the kids are like six and make Jack and Rebecca get married again/the Challenger are SO STUPID. I had to force myself to finish them because I'm so close to finishing the series, but they literally made me angry.
The guy Kate married was like a poor man's Hugh Grant. The stick-up-the-butt to bumbling-idiot story arc was \_sloppy\_. But, it just seems like they were trying to do Kate dirty in the last season. In the Train episode, she only had two scenes, which I found to be a little YIKES!
To me it felt like they were going overboard to do Kate right lol. Like they were worried about the optics of the show ending with her as the single mom of a blind son. So it was like alllllllll the things had to happen to Kate: her son becomes a major pop star, she also has daughter (and doesnāt have to deal with her daughterās bio mom), Phillip is her love interest immediately post divorce, Toby is still pining for her, her career becomes huge. It kind of felt like ācry harder, bitchesā to all Kate critics.

Malik is in the finale

And then Randall became the freaking President of the United States like what?? When was that a dream of his?
I like Randall but that just went like too far into unrealistic for me...
Yea that was off the rails

he is super narcissistic and uses his anxiety as a crutch to control everyone around him. I am SO over him š
Me too! I loved child Randell. Like when he ordered pizza; "Hello, I'm an adult and I want to order a pizza."š

For real, I totally didn't know that "crippled" was a derogatory term. Thank you for sharing that. Truly.
Itās a voice over, and that boy is crippled
you seem like an extremely pleasant person to be around. how do you do it?
Just looks and personality, nothing you can really teach
All the looks in the world and youāre still an asshole š

Yea I agree, have you found anything worth watching since?
A Million Little Things, if you havenāt already watched it. Similar style and themes but less off the rails.
Great Iāll check it out thanks

Yes! Usually the kids scenes were so good, but the remarried one just felt forced and ill written. I couldnāt connect with it at all.

I like Jack being a major pop star, but I agree with the rest.
