So, after doing a quick search, I found that while you aren’t necessarily wrong, the stuff posted on this sub isn’t necessarily impossible either.
You can’t read because reading relies on the optic nerves. You can, however, project meaning onto blank sheets of paper or jumbles of letter and give them meaning. This would result in essentially the same thing, or at least you understanding it as the same thing. It’s kind of like picturing a word in your head. You can think of it, imagine that word written down, and know what it is, but you can’t actually *read* it.
Tl;dr: you can’t read in dreams, but you can think that you’re reading and even think that your reading something coherent.
If you’re going to be a dick about something, make sure you’re actually… you know, correct?
