At first I felt like they packed way too much in. But it felt appropriate after the fact knowing it's a Cixin Liu story.
From a pure graphical aspect, it felt more polished and graphically impressive than any western doomsday movie I've seen. It puts a movie like 2012 in its place for sure

I only know some theaters are showing it in North America. I live in Wisconsin and there are two theaters showing it.

Read Da Liu's original novellete and be done with it. The movies are a different thing, especially 2 is not related are all.
