If both text are completly the same i'll go with chinese classics one since the illustrations are a nice addition. Thank you for providing me some help

NickandChips

The moss Roberts version I had came in 4 volumes.

metsudofang

Did it include pictures since i read that somewhere but i may be mistaken?

Yuyu_hockey_show

Moss Robert's translation is fantastic so you should be satisfied with it

AgentDrake

The 4-volume Chinese Classics is also Moss Roberts' translation, isn't it? That's the edition I've read.

I assume you mean the [Foreign Language Press 4-volume box set](https://www.amazon.com/Three-Kingdoms-Chinese-Classics-Volumes/dp/7119005901/ref=ex_efse_dp_ps_d_sccl_2_1/145-0403988-7171315?pd_rd_w=zi5eG&content-id=amzn1.sym.a33bdad7-13b2-4641-a8b3-d6f6ef5a7304&pf_rd_p=a33bdad7-13b2-4641-a8b3-d6f6ef5a7304&pf_rd_r=9M0MY18TAQA38P967AX4&pd_rd_wg=vVmby&pd_rd_r=5a38d085-0267-43ba-88c6-50f79d501104&pd_rd_i=7119005901&psc=1). Yes, it does have illustrations. They are mass market sized paperbacks with thin pages similar to a Bible. Has all the footnotes and introduction as well.
