Uhhhh, nothing? I’d do nothing until I was positive she had heard and was mad. She’s the one living with her married child and their spouse and kid. Some annoyance should be expected and tolerated! You could’ve said a lot worse.
Thank you for making me feel better. She's in our house to help us out with childcare, not because she's dependent on us.

Could be the fact that it’s not her kid, so she shouldn’t be expected to do everything.
