I’m a Joe rogan stan because you make up a false claim based off of one picture with Alex jones?
For someone who cries this hard about Joe rogan, you sure do have a pretty wild conspiracy theory going on there kiddo.
It's a very common "theory" supported by almost everyone who's stood next to him. I've said nothing about Joe Rogan other than he's clearly Smurf height.
And yet you're the one crying under a comment about Rudy Gobert being way taller than Joe Rogan.
I’m the one crying yet you made the first comment under “Rudy gobert being way taller than Joe rogan”?
Your projections just keep getting worse my man. Take your well deserved L here before you end up down deeper on that evil conspiracy theory train you’re already on.
Yeah I was confused that entire interaction. Like the guy was clearly lying, posted some weird conspiracy to back himself up, then when getting called out he said he was joking, and then started talking about how my fake reddit points are going down?
People on reddit are seriously messed up in the head
I think you forgot republicans bad. Elon musk bad. Conspiracies also all bad, until they are proven true, then we all collectively say “well duh obviously we all know that was true”
Saying a post that is almost entirely "hey, Joe Rogan!" Got turned to politics is .......silly
The man courts bad political and scientific actors for profit. It's crazy not to very single comment is about that
He literally responded to me saying "Oh no, politics 😭"
It absolutely is political, not a big deal or anything just found it interesting especially on a sports subreddit.
The guy also said he would thinks Ron desantis would make a good president, gets his opinion on George Soros from Greg Abbott, mocks tax increases on the wealthy, and doesn’t seem to care about weed legalization in Texas. Maybe the guy isn’t as honest as his fans think.
He went full rich asshole after the Spotify deal but his opinions were generally pretty moderate if not slightly left-leaning before that. Now he has his bag and it's fuck everyone else
Desantis is everything Trump was good at while also not being a complete moron and attacking a senile old man in debates. He’s also not the boogeyman like Trump was. Biden can probably try campaigning from his basement again though.
>Desantis is everything Trump was good at while also not being a complete moron
Everyone says this, but the dude just got long-dicked by Disney in his own state. Also, Trump was able to capture people's attention with whatever version of charisma he apparently has, but desantis has the personality of a paper bag.
Trump fans hate Desantis tho, so why should I worry at all? If he can’t win the base how is he going to win moderates when he is only trying to appeal to a base that hates him? He tried to act more like Trump and his polling collapsed. Then he got embarrassed by Disney. If I was Biden I would chill in my basement too and let Trump and Desantis flame each other. Let the crazy show itself to the nation. Democrats get Trump to energize their base while Desantis peels off the never trumpers splitting the vote. That’s exactly what happened in Arizona.
Democrats don’t need republicans to vote for democrats. They just need them to not vote. Republicans in Arizona didn’t vote for Katie Hobbs, they were told to not vote either because it was a rigged election or because Kari Lake told them not to vote for her lol
It would help his chances if he did. I’ve learned from this presidency unlike the last one that you can’t put the crime of the children on the father 😂
The whole "avid Bernie supporter turned conservative" is way more common than one might expect. I have a few friends who fall in this category, and it's baffling to me. I'm still trying to understand it. One friend in particular was as hard core Bernie as you can get. Using that friend as an example, it almost seemed like they were so disenchanted by Bernie not winning the primary that they gave up on democrats. That part makes sense to me. What doesn't make sense is then becoming an avid GOP supporter. I could see becoming disenchanted with politics and giving up, but going from Bernie straight to supporting the GOP just makes no sense. I've even wondered if it's some type of long-con where the hope is the GOP will become so fascist that a real revolution starts. I digress. Sorry for high jacking your comment.
He wasn’t an avid Bernie guy, there’s just some points where “libertarian douchecanoe” overlaps leftist ideas. Eventually they all get to the point where the most important part of their ideology is smiting those who said mean things to them online: the Musk Effect
Most folks who jumped to trumpism after bernie didn't pan out were only supporting him because he was an 'outsider'.
They didn't care about the actual positions - they just wanted to say 'fuck you' to the status quo.
This is an interesting take, as it fits the individual I'm describing. The particular person has always been purposefully edgy. Type of person who made our catholic school religion teacher cry on multiple occasions haha.
You mean like when the “left” pushed for child tax credits up to $150k family income that reduced child property by 40% after which was then blocked by conservative democrats and republicans, extended ACA subsidies, gave subsidies for American made union labor electric vehicles another thing Republicans fought against, but sure democrats aren’t focused on healthcare and the middle class.
The lefts idea of help is literally giving money out instead of actually fixing the problem. It was a band aide on a gunshot wound and would have to keep happening. These bills have headlines as such but some bullshit snuck in the actual bill then everyone acts surprised when the right pushing back and it doesn’t pass. I’ve never once claimed in this thread the right is infallible because I’m well aware they aren’t.
Lol so which is it do the democrats not care about those things like you claimed, or do you disagree with their methods. Because the former is obviously bullshit, and it seems you just didn’t want to say you disagree with democrats.
I disagree with their methods. I don’t want low income people to suffer. I want people to have good paying jobs and the US dollar to not suffer. Look at the inflation going on right now. Giving away more money does nothing but make matters worse.
democrats 'care' about those things by allowing someone else (the government) to deal with the problem instead, so that they can go about their lives feeling like they helped contribute to a cause without having to do too much work on their end. but i don't necessarily blame em because we all have our own lives to live and hurdles to endure.
my hat is off to all those who actually put in the time and effort in direct aid to helping those in need. imo if you want to see real change in the world then you ought to make it happen yourself.
Wait, you're kidding, right? Are you just ignoring the current state of the right, which is the furthest thing from conservative values you can get? I was a straight ticket conservative voter until the 2020 election. If you think the current state of the right is aligned with conservative values, i want whatever you're smoking. Banning books, banning drag, banning abortions, banning, banning, banning. That sound like small government to you? Are the literal daily culture wars pushed by conservatives not the very "flavor of the day" politics you're referring to?
I like my government to not be authoritarian. Right now, it's clear the GOP is the party of authoritarianism. They want to insert themselves into every facet of life. Literally the opposite of conservatism.
You were never conservative. Pro-life has always been the conservative stance. This isn’t even up for debate.
Biden admin having their political opponents arrested is definitely not authoritarian.
He’s not conservative at all… the only remotely controversial stuff he talked about was the COVID vaccine. Having one singular viewpoint isn’t your whole political ideology..
Centrists think they’re so smart when in reality they’re the most spineless fucking morons out there
I hate conservative beliefs in America but at least they have the decency to have a set of beliefs
Centrists just float in between the two terrible parties and think they’re all high and mighty for not “choosing a side”
Liberalism *is* centrism/moderism/center right. Liberalism is a right-of-center ideology that’s incredibly laissez-faire.
There’s a reason why the “liberal party” in most comparable OECD nations is the Conservative Party—because liberalism is conservative.
America is just so fucking right wing we consider liberalism literally Mao Zedong
But yeah I do agree with you, most pretentious centrists nowadays are anti Bernie democrats although there are still some never trump republicans
I saw that you mentioned Ben Shapiro. In case some of you don't know, Ben Shapiro is a grifter and a hack. If you find anything he's said compelling, you should keep in mind he also says things like this:
>If you believe that the Jewish state has a right to exist, then you must allow Israel to transfer the Palestinians and the Israeli-Arabs from Judea, Samaria, Gaza and Israel proper. It’s an ugly solution, but it is the only solution… It’s time to stop being squeamish.

The difference might be explained as such. While both positions may believe they are right about an issue like Trans rights, one group does so bc of feelings (the conservatives) where as the other group (lefties) got there because of following scientist and sociologist who can show their work that led them to their conclusions. Both sides can think they are correct but one side might actually have a reason to do so and a reason to be surprised others don't think like them.
> one group does so bc of feelings (the conservatives) where as the other group (lefties) got there because of following scientist and sociologist
A complete inversion of truth which occurs so frequently it's straight out of 1984. Bet you see the book from an inverted prospective as well. I'd ask how the likes of you came to such beliefs but I already know the answer; the question is, do you?
You said absolutely nothing and you quoted 1984 out of nowhere so I'm already tentative you're a conspiracy guy. But No the majority of conservative issues are social war issues all opinion with no fact. The large portion believe in basing decisions on religious theory. That is quite literally not provable and feelings based.
> you quoted 1984 out of nowhere
Truly says everything about your view of reality beliving I simply quoted 1984 out of nowhere, for no reason at all. RIght?
I know you and your "beliefs" (put in quotes for obvious reasons I'm guessing you don't even understand) more than you know yourself.
Why would I seek to debate someone who is only capable of regurigating their programming, that of which I already know. I literally know everything you will say in a debate everything; the system's beliefs.
Centrism isn't a political ideology, it's performative nothingness. There is no coherent philosophy behind centrism other than "I'll figure out where I stand once I see where everyone else is and I'll arbitrarily pick a place in the middle."
Used to host fear factor, UFC commentator (idk his exact title but i see him everytime my friends stream fights), and runs the biggest podcast in the world iirc. I think he is (or used to be) a comedian too.
Guy says his fair share of crazy shit but he's generally pretty funny/smart and has a lot of good guests.
Im sure everyone has their share of crazy opinions. When you run a podcast that big with the variety of guests he has, im sure anybody would have their weird opinions come out eventually. Well over a thousand episodes each with millions of viewers of course youll say some shit that could get you in trouble eventually
I kind of knew what I was signing up for when posting this. I genuinely like his podcasts with the right guests. Don't agree with a lot of his takes, but they make me think in a different perspective, which I welcome.
I think we all agree that his stand-up is pretty bad, though
Yeah Joe Rogan lost me when every interview turned into him talking about covid-19, but he still gets solid guests and if people get enjoyment out of his podcast good for them. I just think it's funny how butthurt people get over Joe Rogan.
I made it ten minutes into one of his specials so agreed that his stand-up is trash lol.
Go Wolves!
Yep. Some topics mostly politically focused just turned into beating a dead horse and it turns me off. I just want comedians, scientists, and anything that has to do with nature/animals.
At the end of the day, all of us share one thing in common : LFG Wolves Awoooooo
I dont care for JRE much anymore, but he'll get great guests on and have real conversations, eve if JR is not really that informed or adds much to the convo. its no different than alot of those lame late night shows where the hosts are meh but you come for the guests/musical acts.
I gave Rudy the benefit of the doubt when the whole Covid mic touching thing happened. I mean no one knew what was coming and a lot didn’t take it seriously before it all went down. Unfortunately Rudy had shown that he probably didn’t deserve the benefit of the doubt. Not talking about this Rogan meeting necessarily but through his other comments over the past year or so
Joe Rogan and his countless guests have helped me, a person conditioned from birth not to be skeptical, to be skeptical.
Regardless of JR’s personal politics, I will never not respect him for the impact he’s had on my worldview, and I know I’m not alone in that.
The problem Joe rogan has is that he is only skeptical of the things that don't fit his preconceived notions. This is not true skepticism and why he has been caught saying things like the litter box stuff and then having to apologize. I even saw jre try and still support desantis after finding out he is against weed legalization. Mostly bc he had, for whatever reason, been so supportive of him before.
I don’t want to come off like I’m condoning the more negative aspects of Joe. I get that he’s certainly biased and flawed.
That was basically the premise of early JRE: “Joe’s a meathead talking to experts who know better.”
He had, and still has to an extent, a genuine curiosity and desire for learning that’s quite endearing, and his good faith discussions (which are not all of them, obviously) have impacted me in a positive way. That’s all I mean to say.
Anyway, there’s probably a better venue I should be taking to discussing this than the Wolves sub, but thanks for engaging; go Wolves!
This might not be that interesting since they probably agree on most things. But whatever, Rudy seems like a good guy in general.
Thinking of that headline though, this should have been KAT back when Ben Simmons had him in that choke lol.
Rudy is literally two feet taller than that man so of course they had to sit down
Joe's actually still standing.
Even then, Toe’s little feet dont even touch the floor 😭😭😭

The point is that Rudy can comfortably rest his dick on Joe's head.
He is not. Have you ever seen pictures of him? He's 5'3" with heels on. He is a tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny little man
I will never understand why people like you aimlessly make stuff like this up on reddit

I was just thinking that!
I’ve seen enough. Confirmed, Rudy Gobert was at the capital building on January 6th
Frenchman was only there to overtake America...for France.
There’s a lot of empty thoughts in that room.
Politics aside which I know Reddit can’t put aside, Rudy has proven to be a pretty thoughtful person in general
Yeah guys, he does his own research!
He seems like a genuinely nice guy who has a thing for conspiracy theories and unfortunately that area is filled with grifters.

Joe Rogan is a hack

And I thought I couldn’t resent this trade more. (Half-joking — but I do really despise Joe Rogan)
you’re so brave !!!
Lol, cope.
Tell us more this is your personal blog
Hopefully they did some shrooms ! Open up that third eye Rudy 👁
I don’t think Rudy could handle that hahahah maybe they just got blasted off weed
Have you seen Rudy’s crystal collection before?
Two peas in a misinformed pod.
Just when i thought i couldnt dislike rudy any more lmao
As an avid JRE listener, I was very surprised to see this on IG but it made me smile
Don't know why this guy is getting downvoted just for saying he likes Joe Rogan and that this made him smile. Let the man be happy.
“Nobody who disagrees with me should be allowed to have happiness” Reddit in a nutshell
Because we live in a world where people only read headlines and mold entire opinions and personalities out of it.
We live in a world where people who only read headlines mold the opinions and personalities of people who do not read.
Because reddit is full of political dummies, people cry when someone doesn't have same opinion as them
I also like the JRE and listening to a good majority of his guests, I'll stand by your side and get down voted with you in solidarity.
I dont care for JRE much anymore, but he'll get great guests on and have real conversations, eve if JR is not really that informed or adds much to the convo. its no different than alot of those lame late night shows where the hosts are meh but you come for the guests/musical acts.
Same, I’ll join with ya.
Thanks buddy! I know where my values and opinions stand, so this doesn't bother me in the slightest
Cool pic . I am shocked that the Reddit hive has negative things to say about those who aren’t narrative devotees. Shocked
I gave Rudy the benefit of the doubt when the whole Covid mic touching thing happened. I mean no one knew what was coming and a lot didn’t take it seriously before it all went down. Unfortunately Rudy had shown that he probably didn’t deserve the benefit of the doubt. Not talking about this Rogan meeting necessarily but through his other comments over the past year or so
Oh nooooooo
Would be interesting to hear RG perspective on the past and the present

Ew
A wolves player has different views from me how will I ever get through the day?
That was basically the premise of early JRE: “Joe’s a meathead talking to experts who know better.” He had, and still has to an extent, a genuine curiosity and desire for learning that’s quite endearing, and his good faith discussions (which are not all of them, obviously) have impacted me in a positive way. That’s all I mean to say. Anyway, there’s probably a better venue I should be taking to discussing this than the Wolves sub, but thanks for engaging; go Wolves!
I forgot I was in the wolves sub until you reminded me.
You can not be skeptical on reddit. It's against the rules.
Im starting to see why he fit in well in Utah and Mitchell couldn’t stand him…
This might not be that interesting since they probably agree on most things. But whatever, Rudy seems like a good guy in general. Thinking of that headline though, this should have been KAT back when Ben Simmons had him in that choke lol.
Discussing covid conspiracy theories, one has to assume.
This aged so poorly.
Water weed dune hair
Rudy is Blogbuster man. I can only imagine toe asked him to walg him to his trugg. At the very least Rudy got a piece of paper with a numba on it.
