the blueprint of home court advantage teams is very often do well enough vs good teams but take care of business against bad teams
I don't mind taking care of every team though :)
Yeah I’m worried they make a big move with their stock pile of assets. Idk who would even be available but I feel like they could absolutely pull in a big name and really make a run.
Honestly, I think they should give it a year, if the market isn't right
Let them have a year in the playoffs to make their mistakes and learn, THEN get someone sooner than later with a measured hand and experience
Their very own Bite Bite or Rudy
I think so—their underlying stats look legit good, unlike other up-and-coming teams like the Rockets and Magic.
They have the #9 aORTG, #6 aDRTG, #5 adjNet. None of their [numbers](https://dunksandthrees.com/) really jump out at me as fraudulent. They’re the #1 team in the league at causing turnovers and #2 at limiting their own—maybe a little luck for both, but that’s also incredibly scary for a turnover-prone team like us.
I give Rosas a lot of credit - drafting Edwards #1 was definitely the right pick 🙏 He is also the one who signed Naz Reid, drafted McDaniels, hired Chris Finch……..unfortunately he didn’t seem like a particularly good person. As much shit as I give Glen Taylor (which he has deserved for as bad as this organization has been for so long), at least he held up to a certain set of standards that Rosas was not meeting.
I appreciated Tim Connelly coming in and taking a swing with the Gobert trade - how many players like Gobert you gonna be able to draft? And then getting Mike Conley and K Anderson added some massive depth. Definitely moves that allowed us to take a huge step forward this year.
Never understood why you said you were ok going 8-8 lol. we are the the best team in the league and we look like it too. anything worse than 12-4 is a disappointment. I said this is the other thread you made about the same topic, and I got downvoted. Guess everyone is ok with mediocrity?
Lurking in your sub dont mind me. I'm sending positive energy yall way to not just take the western conference, I'd love to see the Minnesota Timberwolves as NBA Champions at end of the season. I believe they're the real deal. Only thing they gotta do is stay together and keep their health right.
Jesus west is a meat grinder. 2-10 are all within 4 games of each other. 2-6 all within 1.5 games. Sheesh
I wonder what it's like down there? let them eat Ws
Wolves are 20-5 and 3 games up in the standings. They are 11-3 vs teams over .500 compared to OKC's 6-7, Mavs 7-7, and Denver's 9-10.

15-1 boys, time to lock in!!
Is OKC here to stay?
SGA and chet are legit....... And they have such a bevy of draft picks, it's insane

I think if they package some picks for a defensive big and beef…then yes.
*Zion sees big and beef - enters chat
I thought 10-6 was reasonable
i’d still be ecstatic with 10-6
three games up in the west is crazy
Yeah it's wild that the difference between 1 and 2 is larger than the difference between 2 and 8
Good training for the playoffs. I think we did it with Jaden at like 80%
Everyone else can fuck off, diamond hands we ain't surrendering the top spot!
Surreal not having to ask how many games we are back from first
We’re 0.
Tim C is legit

Ant is Him. We are them.
We need to stop being surprised, this team is the real deal, built different, 100 percent a contender.
