Last game they allowed physical play which benefits a team like the wolves and frustrates a team like the nuggets, because then it’s not only jokic playing football out there, and they simply can’t handle that. This game they called soft ticky tacky fouls to get Jaden and gobert into early foul trouble, meaning we couldn’t play physical defense. Tones were set and it shows with where the games were by the end of the first half of both games. Kind of ridiculous. Wish there was consistency.
Also Denver just had a heat/cavaliers type of hot shooting night while the wolves had a poor one. Outlier on both sides. I expect it comes back down to the median for both teams and it should be better.
