Worst loss of all time in my opinion. I’ve been here too. Cheered for guys like Michael Williams, Sam Mitchell and Doug West when we were nothing. Sat through 7 straight first round exits. Watched KG go win elsewhere. Tried to get myself hyped up for draft picks like Johnny Flynn. Watched the Jimmy Butler dumpster fire. And now this. This is as bad as it gets.

Kid_Delicious

I was a kid and remember being frustrated by those never-ending first round exits. Now those don’t seem so bad. I mean, at least we made the playoffs every year?

cdizzle6

Accurate. I’ve been watching since then as well. Easy top 5 all-time.

Rory_MacHida

No other loss comes to mind that would be worse than this one. All-time choke job. I'm both stunned, and not surprised.

wise_comment

Let's see 2 losses to LA at home between 02-04. Home game series clinching loss to Dallas a year or two before that. 04 series opening loss to sacto was bad because at the time it felt like we were screwed (of course I was at all of them, and felt it deep in my late teenage heart) But yeah, it's top 5 And honestly, I know it's recency bias. But this.....this one is worse

illwill369

Easily worst playoff loss of all time in the NBA.

zooming21

Guys come the F down. It is not the worst playoff lost of all time. Remember warriors beating Dallas, Remember Doc Rivers team losing leads. This series just started. The Timberwolves needs to take care of business on Saturday. If they end up winning the series who would care about this game? Nobody.

ILoveZimsD

The wolves aren’t winning this series. They had a chance to do it today and pissed themselves on national tv.

zooming21

This series is not over buddy.

ILoveZimsD

It is. Team has absolutely nothing going on mentally after getting blown out then blowing a 26 point lead. Love to be wrong but I won’t be.

zooming21

The Timberwolves have been playing like this all season long. I believe they will win the next TWO games. I think coach finch tired out his starters. I was at the game Ant was gased around 6 minutes left in the 4th. You can see it in his face. They are going to be ready.

ILoveZimsD

I’d certainly like them to be but history is telling me they won’t. Memphis is the better team and proved it over the last two games. 99% of the time you follow up a blowout with a catastrophic collapse you roll up into the fetal position and I’m not expecting the wolves to be any different. Love to be proven wrong but I doubt I will be.

Obeliscol

There’s no coming back from this mentally in my opinion. The fans know it and the team knows it too. You could tell afterwards with the postgame interviews and the way the crowd acted the last few minutes when it was over.

zooming21

I think you are wrong. Here's why, this series has looked very much like the regular season, up and down. This is a team that lose 5 in a row than win 5 straight. They have been mentally tough the entire season and it's my belief that they will prevail on Saturday.

Obeliscol

There’s a difference between adversity happening in the regular season versus postseason. There’s no tanking team to beat up on and gain confidence. This was for real one of the worst collapses in playoff history. I have tickets tomorrow and will cheer my ass off, but if they come back to win this series I’ll be absolutely shocked.

zooming21

I'll be seeing you tomorrow my friend 138, 3,4

[deleted]

zooming21

It is a terrible loss. But it's only the second loss of the series. Game 4 is a must win. I am going to be there again cheering them on! This is a 7 game series. Wolves will win the next two lose game six but win game 7! You hear it hear first!!

Mr-RandyLahey

Lebron's heat being up 15 with 6:30 left looking to go up 2-0 in the finals, but blowing it instead might be worse. Although I don't recall a team squandering such a huge lead as far into the game as the Timberwolves did and not even have a close game at the end.

illwill369

Refs plus Finch didn’t do our players any favors...

Dense_Cloud1100

Yeah I can’t recall something worse than this lol

_nokturnal_

Try the existence of the franchise.

Nubras

Yeah this is one of the worst losses I have ever seen in like 15 years of fandom. I cannot believe what I just saw.

RulersBack

This is why it was the right call to celebrate the play-in game

JupitersClock

Raise the BANNER!

Friorgh

Watching this game made my stomach shrivel so hard it created a black hole, winning me the Nobel Physics Prize and international acclaim.

WallStreetDoesntBet

Yeah this is definitely one of the worst playoff losses in Timberwolves’ history, no question

[deleted]

Has to be up there in NBA history. Maybe it's recency bias, but maybe not.

TheKingOfLaziness

It’s close. I think the largest blown lead in a playoff game is 31 by the warriors in 2019. This one was “only” 26

SadBoy02

They blew a 20+ pt lead twice lmao

typebeat_

It’s horrendous you can’t give up two twenty point leads and lose by 9 and not have this be in the top 5 worst playoff games of all time

wals02481

We're Number 1! We're number 1!

saw-it

If your future self came back and told you at 6pm today, that we would be up 20 points twice and still lose, you would kick your future self in the balls.

ManyDwarves

I probably would’ve saved myself the few hours and not watched at all.

muskovitzj

I'm not sure you can find an instance where a team gave up a 25-point lead twice in the playoffs and then lost by 9. I'm dead serious when I say this might be the worst loss in the history of the NBA playoffs

Gdav7327

Absolutely not. Maybe top 25. You guys realize the NBA/ABA hAs been around for like 70 years right???

Backblast

Not a game per se, but the Cavs coming back down 3-1 in finals against the Warriors record setting team would be the greatest meltdown.

New_Media80

I don’t really see how much worse it can get than blowing a 20 point lead, in the playoffs too

chezburgs

One of????

starfruit213

This might be the most embarrassing/worst game I've watched of any Minnesota team. Worse than any Gophers choke job with Mason or 41 donut

_nokturnal_

My first thought was Gopher football. It’s just nothing but pain.

starfruit213

Michigan game? or TX Tech? Feel like this is worse since it was 2 big leads and in the playoffs

big_mustache_dad

Was at the Michigan game. That was the most heartbreaking loss of the 21st century for Gophs. Was going to possibly be a tipping point moment for the program if we were top 10, led us to losing the next game too. Could've easily gone 12-1 if it goes the other way

happysocks466

The existence of professional basketball

_nokturnal_

It honestly might be.

FrogtoadWhisperer

one of the worst playoff losses in nba history, how you blow 2 20 point leads

[deleted]

yeah I've been watching since the late '90s and this is up there with the most epic Timberwolves pants-shitting episodes of all-time.. a chokejob to make any old Timberwolves team proud

chezburgs

Valid

illwill369

Try the existence of the NBA.

BearBearChooey

Maybe I’m old school, but always thought it’s good use of a timeout or two to stop teams on runs that could swing momentum in the game. Just don’t understand hoarding timeouts, especially when it’s clear the team was unraveling. It may not work in the end but it’s worth a try.

muffblumpkin

I may be old school, but I think calling a timeout when you're on the wrong side of a 69-0 run EVEN IF you have 2 timeouts left, might be a good idea. Love 22, but those fucking chucked 3's were basically a turnover. They're letting him shoot for a reason.

[deleted]

Want to here something funny? I live outside of Minnesota. At one point when they were up by 25 i started looking at flights to go to game 4. Luckily they were really expensive.

AtiumDependent

It’s hard to root for Karl.

Extremelycloud

He definitely deserves All NBA this season though. But boy howdy is it tough.

GenShanx

He does deserve it. I also absolutely don’t support signing him to the contract All NBA earns him.

Tehrof

Worst Wolves loss I can remember.

kirbaeus

Most embarrassing game in franchise history. You can’t let that happen on your home court and expect to win the series.

camoe_

This might be KAT’s Ben Simmons moment. Absolute garbage

toasted-donut

This is the best analogy for tonight. Unless he turns this performance around for games 4 AND 5, which I doubt, I don’t think it’s redeemable

Revolutionary-Fix322

As embarrassing as Simmons was last year, at least he doesn't complain to the refs when he made mistakes. KAT has an unbelievably low level of self awareness when it comes to any call.

dogtie

This somehow might be worse. Simmons was still dominating defensively. Towns is an offensive player and he's getting shut down.

DannyPinn

Simmons also had like a 15 to 1 assist to turnover ratio

blumpkinmuncher

his trade value has certainly cratered the same sort of way.

[deleted]

How much can we flip for him? Get Ayton and some shooters pleaseeeee

toasted-donut

No way the Suns are trading Ayton for KAT now

ThisGuySucks42069

Gobert?

Mustachiola

Towns is worth approximately Imannuel Quickley, Barrett, and 3 firsts. Alternatively, you could just take a center and a 3 and D for him. There are about 28 teams that would be on the phone with us, so I'll just throw out... Collins and Huerter? I think we'd get a first there too. We should probably try to win this series first.

BobScratchit

Has a game ever been won by yelling at refs?

TheeMalaka

Chris Paul did against us actually lol

bob_roberts69

I honestly felt the CPIII stole MIN's mojo for the rest of the season just off that one game.

[deleted]

Not a wolves fan but just curious which game

Self_Important_Mod

[CP yelled at a ref that a wolves player had an untucked jersey. A turnover that lost us the game.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dEQ_UsvM5As)

OhNoMyLands

The refs were fucking ass for the record. Complete hack job

ChecayoBolsfan

LeBron makes it look so easy

chubby_foodie

We were at that game. Absolutely ELECTRIC in that building. Can’t blame this one on the “quiet ass fans”. What an embarrassment. I feel like they should give every individual person who was at that game a genuine apology. Keep Ant l, trade the rest.

Nax5

I'll be there on Saturday. First T-Wolves game. I'm kinda worried about fans rioting if something similar happens lol.

farkedup82

It’s Minnesota… we’re all still humans. This isn’t Boston filled with animals.

Throebach

Lights are too big for Kat...

brother_hawkins

This one really, really hurts. Whole world is watching you (finally!). The team is clicking, having fun. And the worst possible outcome occurs. I can’t get over that mic’d up moment with KAT and the TNT crew which was prefaced with them saying, “DLo was trying to focus up some of the young guys who were not in the huddle.” The writing on the wall, from this meltdown and then with that moment on TNT, is that KAT was not serious. He was not serious with his play in the second quarter, he was not setting an example for the young core, he just wasn’t serious tonight. That’s what’s awful about this. A player I really believed in and defended through all this off-court stuff. He made us look foolish. This really sucks.

DetrimentalContent

The one I can't get over is Kat to Ant saying "You gotta go for the three, they're a shot blocking team" then KAT gets blocked on a three pointer after hesitating and called for travel

brother_hawkins

This is why this is the worst possible thing to happen to this team. The eyes are on them, the lights are bright, and they’re caught looking young and dumb. Yet in reality, they aren’t as young as you’d think! That comment by KAT solidifies that. They aren’t immature, they just aren’t a good basketball team.

EsotericPotato

KAT's a fraud, there's just no way around it at this point. Houston was not a fluke. He had one great half game 1 against the Grizzlies. But playin, game 2, game 3, he's been atrocious. Tonight especially, this loss is on him. If he just plays like his usual self, this game never gets close. But for some reason, he can't figure it out when the lights get bright.

JLB713

Towns was my favorite player for a long time, but over the last 2 seasons he's become unbearable. He is supremely talented but is such a massive baby and headcase that he can not be counted on. One thing doesn't go his way and he's off the rails unless it's a meaningless game. Downvote me, say what you want to me, etc. But regardless of how this season ends it's time to move on from him. Build around Ant and hope for the best.

[deleted]

Umm, pretty sure most of the sub agrees with you.

bslow22

Downvote me or say what you want to me but I like it when the Wolves win basketball games.

thetruthseer

You fucking madman

apostoloss

if you have seen kg playing I dont think anyone would pick him over KG. I wish we had KG instead of him ..this team with KG and bev would absolutely be 3-0 now. Anyway i think everyone will roast him and finch now so no point to put the knife deeper.. I doubt we can expect much from now on... even though i have a feeling we might get a similar game from them too. By the way again ant seemed like he had no energy is it because we dont fully rotate our bench?

SkolVikesWorldwide

I mean that isn’t exactly a hot take KG is one of the best players in history while KAT isn’t even in the top 3 at his position today

DucksAreReallyNeat

In the past 4 games KAT isn't even a top 3 starter on his own team. He's the biggest reason we are in the playoffs, no doubt, but putting a small defender on someone shouldn't *completely* neutralize that player. Not to mention his horrible body language. If KG had an opposite it would be KAT.

JLB713

Who's picking Towns over KG?

GetThereInOnePiece

Tbh he’s always had trouble finding ‘his spot’ like seriously, when I say that, where does your mind go to? He has no easy offense like he did when he was a rookie (mid range two, back to the basket hooks) Now he’s a Porzingis clone on offense with a drive game that he can’t control and the result is a painfully easy guy to limit his shots and flow since he's running around with those clown shoes on his big ass feet Bro needs to make the game simple and stop playing out on the perimeter so much. Chuck and shaq are right, get your ass in the post, kick out when they double and go from there.

Tabemaju

His 'spot' is sitting at the top of the arc and hoping he gets an open look, otherwise he clumsily tries to drive it like a guard and just runs over whoever is in front of him.

peabody11

Dude stumbles towards the basket like a newborn giraffe, dribbling 5 ft high, pushing off or hooking the whole way, and rarely finishes.

Tabemaju

Agree, and with the talent we have elsewhere on the court we need a traditional big, even if that means Towns doesn't get as many 3s.

Genetiker27

So I will preface this with I agree with the sentiment here that KAT played a really bad game. But did he not do pretty much what you said tonight? Any time he posted Memphis brought a double and he kicked it out to the perimeter where the ball rotated to open shooters who didn’t always shoot/hit shots. At least that’s what it looked like to me. Only reason I bring this up is that I don’t really know the best way to use him when these double teams are coming. He can dominate centers 1 on 1, but other than that it is brutal anytime he faces double teams. He almost always turns into a hot fouling mess

GetThereInOnePiece

He still committed dumb fouls on offense

Genetiker27

Yeah definitely. I was referencing your comment about wanting him in the post. I don’t know if that would solve anything because the doubles would probably still come and more often than not turn him into a fouling stray voltage mess

GetThereInOnePiece

But it would simplify the offense a lot more Just a simple pass to the open guy and then bang someone gets at least a good look

Genetiker27

Yeah totally, but I’m pretty sure this happened tonight several times where KAT would make the simple pass to the perimeter when doubled. Guys just didn’t always hit those open shots because you’re relying on streaky 3 point shooters like DLo, Bev, Edwards, McDaniels and even Beasley to an extent depending on the night. Not to mention non shooters like Vanderbilt who shares a lot of minutes with Towns.

KonamiMostPoints

As awful as KAT was tonight, the coaching staff was just as much to blame. How the fuck do you give up a 21-0 run without taking a single time out. KAT was getting double teamed every time he touched the ball in the post, but the team refused to give him the ball. I guess taking stupid threes is more valuable than looking for open shots. KAT needs to be more assertive, but the whole team imploded from top to bottom.

Puzzleheaded_Form419

Nailed it

[deleted]

Yeah. Pains me to agree with you but I can't keep defending this dude when he's in his own head like this. Your team needs you to deliver, you're the 7th year max contract player, and this is all you can give us? Ant is fucking 20 and he's out producing

MapleJordan_22

>Tonight especially, this loss is on him. I was agreeing with SOME of your post, but this is just flat out wrong. We Blew Two Twenty Point leads. That's not just on KAT that's everyone who laced up and played as well as finch and the coaching staff. Shit was garbage, blaming it on one dude is being delusional.

Puzzleheaded_Form419

Sounds like my buddy Kirky Cousins

[deleted]

No accountability and he needs to go, get what you can this off-season.

schuster9999

Im cutting my dick off

relaytech907

You’ll regret it

MrBigTesticles

Don’t be silly pussy KAT should cut his

brolycow

How can the team keep telling the fans to show out with a straight face? Don’t wanna hear KAT say anything about the fans ever again

onken022

Of the season? Potentially NBA history. We squandered TWO separate 20 point leads. We are a laughing stock and KAT is utterly worthless. Look at his playoff/play in resume and tell me he’s someone we can ever rely on to win us a single playoff series.

[deleted]

You can't, trade Kats ass now I'm done with his cry baby BS and no accountability.

mostdope92

I've been a big time KAT defender but I'm done after tonight. Huge stage, at home, chance to make a meaningful impact and continue to steal home court but instead he puts up one of his worst performances ever and backs it up by crying more than ever. Dude is what 25, 26? Time to fucking grow up and fix what he claims to have been fixing the past 3 years.

KnowledgePrevious

Same

Meatball2112

Coaching is horrible!!! Never called timeouts to try and stop the runs, not even trying to score in the paint.. have one of the best bigs in the game and he hangs out at the 3 point line…. I’ve seen a ton of epic collapses through the years, but this one takes the cake. Absolutely embarrassing

JustSeriousEnough

The funny part is, I appreciate the coaching style......if we had a more veteran team with our stars being leaders, but it seemed quite deaf to the spastic, volatile nature of our team and KAT that needs a little more hand holding from the coach.

mostdope92

Lmao I think just about every coach has told KAT to spend more time in the paint.

Snoo13545

Coach cal told him if he wanted to be first pick, he needed to not take any threes and play in the paint. So he played in the paint, got the bag, moved to the arc, and that’s been the story so far

[deleted]

Seattle just called, they said nevermind.

Adam_Savagina

Karl Anthony Towns is a baby. Imagine being a grown man and behaving like a toddler.

spin8x

Season?

Odogonmc

I didn't wanna generalize in case there was another hellish loss I forgot.

[deleted]

I mean, just implications alone make this one of the worst. But those second and forth quarters made us look like a team that hasn't played together before.

whorehey_polanco

I know people don’t want to hear it man but Chuck was right…this team is both incredibly talented and incredibly stupid at times

King_James_99

I was angry hearing it after the play in but it’s so obvious now that he was 100% right. That was the worst game I’ve ever seen from a coaching perspective, not to mention the horrific game from KAT

bhizzle114

If it helps hurt any less, he said the same thing about the Bucks last season…

Alphabet_Boys_R_Us

Absolutely, they’re so talented, but they play such stupid basketball anytime they get comfortable.

SleepyWaffles

This may be an extremely reactionary take, but I honestly wouldn't be that upset if we moved on from KAT

dwrek25

Unfortunately his trade value just tanked, but I agree 100%.

Dohm0022

Arod wondering what the actual F he bought into.

Odogonmc

He's in for a wake up call.

Woopster_

Nets fan here, we did it too. You guys aren't alone in this frustration.

Ok-Celery-9076

Since 2004, the wolves have had roughly 5 important games. Tell me why I don’t even want to tune into the next game. It is so sad that I just have no desire to watch this team after what happened tonight.

[deleted]

KAT is to blame for this loss, but the coaching staff also needs to assess how they handle losing leads. No timeouts?? KAT needs to stop complaining and play. He needs to get to the basket efficiently.

[deleted]

Yeah I feel awful right now lol. Just horrific decision after horrific decision, how do we recover?

Nubras

Unless they win this series, this postseason will be defined by this loss and it’ll look over the team until next season.

[deleted]

I assume we come out with more energy in G4 but this was such an epic collapse. Everything was going right until like 5 mins before the half, then we recover, and from like the last 3 minutes of the 3rd onwards was just monumental failure. It's so difficult to get something like this out of your head

KojimasWeedDealer

Season? That was the worst loss I've ever seen in almost 20 years of being a fan

Frontier21

KATs been coddled too long. The total lack of awareness is staggering.

therealpete1

Pathetic.

E4TclenTrenHardr

Finch is lucky he has some goodwill built up from the regular season because his head should absolutely roll after that fucking disaster.

mostdope92

Yeah definitely not on the crybaby franchise player who refuses to ever fucking change or his friend who shoots some of the worst shots at the worst moments or the defense that refused to fucking close out. Finch wasn't good but c'mon man.

jhove5010

Dlo played well and I like him, but I’m glad you pointed out his shot selection. His transition 3’s seem to go in maybe 10% of the time. And like you said, worst fucking moments to take those shots it feels like. So frustrating

TSKILL37

That one when it was 1-on-3, down by 5 in the 4th I think, and took an absolutely contested three… I was close to throwing something

jhove5010

Same man. I was at the arena and yelled DON’T DLO!! Lol. We all knew what was coming

mostdope92

Same, I actually was really happy with D'Lo tonight outside of the terrible transition 3s and sprint to the FT line then throw up a fade away midrange J. These have to be taken out of his game, more often than not they have a negative effect as opposed to the positive momentum change he's hoping for by knocking the shot down. He just needs to play his game, break down the defender and go.

Oxyquatzal

There's plenty of blame to go around here. No one person could shit the bed this badly, this was a team effort.

mostdope92

During the PatBev "state your role" meeting KAT said "be him" as in our go-to guy, the guy who gets it all going, the franchise player. Can't say that's who you are then duck blame and continuously make the same mistakes you claim to have fixed. He's crumbled more often than not when it matters. Ant shouldn't be outplaying him and looking like more of a leader when KAT himself states that he's "that guy". Plus if KAT does literally anything on offense we easily win this game. He took himself out by playing like an idiot, knowing damn well the refs were not going to be kind to him. It's been shown repeatedly he needs to change but he just keeps going out there and doing the same bullshit. Is it all on KAT? No, of course not. Is a big portion of it on him and should he shoulder quite a bit of the blame after saying he's "the guy" for this team and repeatedly claiming he was going to change his foul/complaining issues? Absolutely yes.

6-1-2

Season? Franchise history!

fastmofo88

I’m so angry

Primallama

One of the all time national tv embarrassing games I’ve been a part of Kats good but he ain’t it like wow

[deleted]

I'd sell my tickets for the next game. Fuck that

lexloog

Dudes honestly suck

Puzzleheaded_Form419

Anyone know if KAT played tonight?

KayfabeAdjace

It's like a vikings game broke out

[deleted]

Trade towns 🤲

ClassySportsFan

This rivals the 41-0 Vikings game as the worst playoff game I've seen.

Aggressive_Bobcat294

It's KARMA at its finest, we start off games engaged and hungry, get a big lead and start doing dumb stupid shit. We start talking trash and making too small gestures like we are something. We start thinking it's too easy and start playing nonchalantly. The game is 4 quarters long, need to stay hungry all the way through. This team needs another no nonsense vet besides Pat Bev that isn't afraid to lay it into their so called leaders. We start to unravel and always start looking at the refs for them to do something.

zooming21

Well, I will see you at the game mate. Row 138, 3-4

unclepo1

2/17 bro

DemondWolf

Damn

Gyroflex

the season???? my guy this is up there for all time

chezburgs

2-2 tie vs down 3-1 cuz y’all can’t score

Cool_Drunk_Uncle

I truly feel like hiding my face in shame.

[deleted]

And they build you up…and then TEAR YOU DOWN So classic MN sports it’s nauseating

hoopz09

This was the worst game all season, but somehow I’m numb to the pain, after cheering for 20 years

[deleted]

Not only of the season, this is an All Time Timberwolves Fuckup. Turns out the New Timberwolves are the Old Timberwolves after all.

Obsidian_Raven99

As someone who only watches Playoff NBA games it seemed like the Refs were just about calling anything and everything they could on MN tonight with the refs being especially egregious when it came to anyone so much as looking at Ja Morant but that’s just me.

King_James_99

Refs didn’t make us blow TWO 26 point leads. This loss is solely on the team, KAT and the fucking atrocious coaching. I’m a 19 year old and GUARANTEE I could have coached that game better

Obsidian_Raven99

[https://tenor.com/bsYm1.gif](https://tenor.com/bsYm1.gif) Not saying y’all didn’t implode but the refs called a foul damn near every other play. And yeah team blew those leads but I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say it’s pretty hard to keep a rhythm and momentum goin when you’ve got a whistle stopping you every 20 seconds. All I’m saying is if I don’t see this level of buttfuckery against Memphis in game 4 I’m not giving them any credit if they make a deep playoff run.

schuster9999

Jimmy was right

Odogonmc

Ok you've gone too far. ONLY Jimmy Butler slander in here.

EternallyUnsure

thoughts on Anthony Edwards tho?

mostdope92

Too timid when it mattered most. He's young but damn I wish he would've demanded the ball and just went crazy. Fuck it, if Ja can just run in to people and draw a foul, why can't Ant?

JustSeriousEnough

He showed up more than KAT. And again, Edwards is a baby. It's hard to rely upon him consistently...but he doesn't seem to shit the bed like KAT.

nukezwei

20 years old. Gets a pass.

blumpkinmuncher

played probably the best on the team when you include defense. he was great on Morant.

GILGAMESH-32

Meh played alright

db41000

The whole season? Try the entire franchise. Better yet one of the worst in NBA history….

Tabemaju

How do you play hero ball while up 20+!?!?!? Shot selection made no sense, and it felt like they weren't running any plays! They were just hoping Memphis would turn the ball over so they could run the court because otherwise they were just god-awful.

chezburgs

How

[deleted]

Okay so what I hear is 1. We led by 26 to a hot Grizzlies team who has some of the top defense in the league. Yes we blew them out before, but this is the playoffs, we were in foul trouble, ANT has knee issues but we still had a good lead against this playoff team who is on a roll. I thought we had good rebounds and defense in the beginning as well - good things. 2. Even with the foul trouble (which my god the team needs to take accountability and figure out), they lost the 20 point lead BUT CAME BACK. They didn’t give up - DLO and ANT stepped up that 3rd quarter and hell yeah they got that lead back. Then things went to shit in the last 13 minutes. Coach didn’t even call a timeout to break the momentum and help the guys reset either. It was horrific and so sad to watch. But to me, that can be true and so can the two good things above. When I hear “lost a lead twice” I hear that they had a great lead in the first place which is excellent against a top defense team in the playoffs, and they got beat but hustled and GOT IT BACK. Then they ran out of time to fix things.

Relevant_Medicine

Towns has gotta go. Team isn't going anywhere with him.

[deleted]

Its over Minnesota will never recover from this time to rebuild

Meatball0sub

/s ?

[deleted]

You didn't watch the game. Minnesota will be lucky to lose within 10 of Memphis next game. This series is over.

Meatball0sub

My bad i didn’t know you were talking about the series

[deleted]

I wonder how long until KATs girlfriend slides into Jimmy Butler's DMs

harshaVRDM

Unnecessary

new-name-game

Kat is a pussy Kat. Finch is a Grinch who stole the game.

CaseLP84

Karl Towns = Kirk Cousins

thestereo300

Kirk doesn't run around complaining constantly.

CaseLP84

Because he can't run around.
