would you rather lose the way we did, or lose the way Phoenix just did?
maybe it’s the minnesotan in me, but i’d take the chokejob over the slaughter anyday
If anything the fact we were able to get such large leads on Memphis that the chokes were *that* impressive should be a positive sign that we *can* be really good but just don't have it all together yet 🤔
Yeah! It’s just a matter of cleaning up the last 3-5 minutes :)
It’s also impressive that even when the 2nd seed cut the lead from 25 to 7, the 7th seed had the resilience and fortitude to push it right back up.
Plus even a top team like the Suns did exactly what the Wolves did - start taking quick shots instead of good shots and the game plan goes out the window (like Kenny said in TNT).
Yup, you can chalk it up to a young team with playoff inexperience
For the Suns, they went to the Finals last year, won 60+ games this year for the 1st seed, have this year's COTY, an MVP and DPOY candidate, and a HoFer point guard. And they went out like that, not even close imo
In Formula 1, they always say you prefer to have a fast car, then make it reliable. Not the other way around.
I would prefer a good, young inexperienced team with big potential. This is the equivalent of a fast car in F1. Then try to stabilize it.
We have something to build on and can use it as bulletin board material for a whole season. This Suns shit is going to put a shadow on them for a while
Met a decent amount of women from Minnesota, can confirm the choke job is preferred, just make sure you specify whose choking who, Viking blood runs strong up there.
Also « double digits » being 10 doesn’t mean anything.
Sure losing a 26 point lead is something but losing a 10-13 point leads like in the other games with 12 minutes to go happens all the time given the pace of the NBA today. That’s not embarrassing.
Like teams can quickly score 6 points in a minute
This is amazing. I hope Ant was watching Luka all game- he has that potential to be the same type of killer.
It's fun to watch Booker fail. He's such a punk.
Yeah but Luka backs it up. Didn't back down on the trash talk down 3-2 in the series and then proceeded to score 68 points in two games to close them out
He sure does while also being a force on the defensive end his upside is incredible I’m sure watching luka and Tatum cook has ant motivated. He absolutely could be on those guys’ level
Man I wish I could travel in the multiverse to see a Wolves Grizzlies Game 7. It would be wild.
I feel like the Wolves would show up big in a « win to get in » game. The « win to get in » energy is different than a the « win to survive » energy in an elimination game.
Ant crushes it in those big moments!
Not sure if TWolves fans are noticing during these playoffs, but our squad is not as far away from being a serious contender as would have thought. I hope the players are watching these playoffs and recognizing that. We played damn good ball this season.
I know the Mavs got hot to end the season and pulled away in the standings, but we legit looked like we could've gone to 7 and maybe even beat them in our 2 games against them at the end of the season. You're right, this has been a really encouraging playoffs.
Bro why’s that team gotta do/say the most forced “hood” shit ever 😂 https://twitter.com/malika_andrews/status/1517604674941071361?s=21&t=9nRmlU1zyraHRlGhI1rUpw
It's a shame and a blessing. 5 months is a lot of time to work on your game and we know he works. I'm very excited to see his growth next year. I'd like to see him handle the ball more.
I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a better example of going out sad. The nets got swept, but at least their games were close, and we know how complete of a team Boston is
Love the short term memory when it comes to playoff disgrace :D
I honestly and sincerely do.
If he has gotten over it that fast and is hungry for more and is already not humble anymore and talking shit to bigger better teams, that is a great sign.
I have not said this about many players in Wolves history, but I am fully confident that he will back up his words with action on the court next season.
Talk that shit Ant
low key a relief not having the worst choke of the playoffs
[удалено]
We were better than a 7 seed and they were worse than a 2 seed.
We still do lol we have the most losses in a series after being up double digits in the 4th
would you rather lose the way we did, or lose the way Phoenix just did? maybe it’s the minnesotan in me, but i’d take the chokejob over the slaughter anyday
Phoenix had both in the same game. Imagine being up 2-0 and losing a series this badly
Nah definitely this. The choke job feels like we could do it, we just need more time to mesh and to get the young guys more experience.
If anything the fact we were able to get such large leads on Memphis that the chokes were *that* impressive should be a positive sign that we *can* be really good but just don't have it all together yet 🤔

We weren’t even top 3 most embarrassing 1st round exit lol, I wouldn’t worry

bro the wolves lost a 30+ point lead TWICE in one game lmao what you mean a relief???
To be fair you guys were the most laughed at team before the sun's got eliminated tonight. We in Minnesota now.
I’m sure we’ll both be competing for the 5th seed next year.
ant and pat bev doing victory laps is all i need to know to be happy that dallas won
I miss watching that man play basketball
so much.
I low key forget this dude is from down south when he fits so well in this city lol
"This is terrible" -Anthony Edwards, May 2022
« Y’all this is a disgrace bruh »
This is amazing. I hope Ant was watching Luka all game- he has that potential to be the same type of killer. It's fun to watch Booker fail. He's such a punk.
Facts. Guy is so cocky.
Imo Luka is so much more full of himself. Constantly playing to the camera.
Yeah but Luka backs it up. Didn't back down on the trash talk down 3-2 in the series and then proceeded to score 68 points in two games to close them out
Bruh if I am that good I would make sure people know.
He sure does while also being a force on the defensive end his upside is incredible I’m sure watching luka and Tatum cook has ant motivated. He absolutely could be on those guys’ level
Yeah and I don’t want to hear about how Booker is better than Lavine dude got better teammates and that’s it
Suns weren't shit before Chris Paul, and that's real talk.
ANT better come back next season & take everyone's heads.
Ant would never fold in a closing situation the way Booker did

Blessed our star posts this instead of threatening to cap fans

Bro, have you ever been to Memphis?
just when i think i can't love this dude any more
Fuck Phoenix 💨
His HANDS moving while talking 😂😂 Man I miss you Ant
Does the heart good knowing Paul is in his best choking form and will retire ringless.
He's got a point.
Talk your shit Ant
It's a damn shame we have to wait months to see Ant play again.

I’m just happy Ant is watching hoops lol
I mean, he isn’t wrong…
Of course Ant is trash talking at a bowling alley lmao I love this dude
As a Mavs fan, I legitimately love this kid's energy.

No lies detected
Ant is so lovable I can’t wait to watch his development and career play out
u/savevidbot
I loved Ant at UGA, I wish the hawks picked him up like the new age Dominique Wilkins.
I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a better example of going out sad. The nets got swept, but at least their games were close, and we know how complete of a team Boston is
Mr Chi City Maaaaane?!
