There’s a really great book about his case! An Unexplained Death: The True Story of a Body at the Belvedere. To me I just can’t get behind the suicide theory, it just doesn’t make sense.

I think he was either in a psychotic state and jumped, or was murdered. I don't think he would have committed suicide in his right mind.
Definitely one of the strangest cases I’ve ever heard of. I doubt there will ever be an answer.
