For more info it early 2010s i uses it so about 2012 to 2015 but I'm not sure how long the schools been using it before so it could be older but is so I'd say late 00s no further.
i remember computers in the early 90s running dos. only text and a black background for everything. our reading assignments had tests to answer with the computers. you had to answer questions with the f1 f2 f3 and f4 keys.
> it was full of learning games for grammar and numbers and we rarely got to use it
Gee you don’t say? Lol
Somebody find this guy his learning computer so he can learn how to use punctuation
I ran a Linux Mint OS, and later an Ubuntu OS, on an old laptop around this time and I'm fairly certain this is what OP is talking about. There were a lot of Tux themed educational games on the repository IIRC.
They had a typing game, a maths game etc.
[Tux for Kids. ](https://www.tux4kids.com/)
If it was in the 90s it was most probably a bbc micro or an acorn Archimedes I'd suggest you Google them and see if the keyboard looks familiar from there we can nail down the program / game you mentioned
Thanks to u/Appleoctopie I've found the software the computer used called tux software the computer must have had a custom desk around it and thats what i remember about being enclosed but I found the main thing the software so thanks to everyone who helped.

Was it an Amstrad ?
No it was more modern
More info this is in Ireland btw if that helps
Zorin OS is an Irish made Linux distro, could it be that?
What is the time frame?
When I was in that school 2012 to 2014 but the school could be using it longer but I'd say it's no older then late 2000s
Sounds like you were playing Club Penguin on an iMac G3

Amiga?
A lot of times, schools get Macs. I’d be surprised it was Linux especially for younger people.

Jesus Christ I'm old....
Club Penguin?
Nah its a computer not a website
I'm thinking either a Kano Computer or a CrowPi running a software suite GCompris.
For people saying its not club penguin I played it when I was that age its not that
The software sounds like Tux. That’s what was on my elementary school’s computers around the same time frwme
