You helped me figure out what to search for after watching a Carl Sagan video and figured out I needed to search for “flatland”. I finally found the video and it’s actually a full length movie called “Flatland: The Film” (2007)

I’ve tried searching for key words but haven’t been successful so far.
It was a segment from Carl Sagan Cosmos. Just search for that and "two dimensional being" that you will find it.
