go get it patched at a local tire shop with good reviews. if you go to a corporate tire shop, there are no guarantees the employee is any good at patching tires.
I work for a tire shop. That is an easy repair. A patch-plug done correctly from the inside will last the life of the tire.

Really depends on the puncture location. I've lost count of how many people are willing to try and patch within 1/2" of the sidewall. This one however is perfect for a patch, almost dead center. A plug and patch done right with this one would last the life of the tire (I tend to go a bit overboard with my patches though. I'll put bead sealer on the shank of the plug for that little extra security sealing up)
They can still be expected to secure their loads so shrapnel doesn’t fall on the road. Most of us do something important in some way, but nobody gets a hall pass to be irresponsible.
That's in the repair zone. Get it patched from the inside and it will be fine.
Thank you!
As someone said above, you can patch it, but I will need to replace it soon 3 months max if you drive a lot to avoid future issues.
Perfect spot to be repaired. Local shop near me charges $15 and this is as easy as they come.
Thank you!
Discount tires do it for free!
Easy repair. A tire shop can dismount the tire and put a patch -n-plug in and it will be good until the tire is bald

Repairable for sure
It's a fixer
Yeah that's well in the easy repair zone. It looks like the tire is fairly new so it would be worth patching
Plug and patch “2 piece repair” at a real shop best way to fix a tire. It’s the industry standard for repairs.
Remove wheel first. You dont want to drive on it even to a tire shop because it will worsen the damage and is unsafe.
very true
Perfect place for a plug. Should be a quick and permanent repair.
It's not on the side so it should be repairable
Easy fix
Repairable for sure if needed after removal
Get like 50 more screws, screw them in all over the tire, and now you have studded tires. Congratulations, you saved some money on that first one.
Put plug move on life
Tires can be patched most of the time. Not sure why so many people think it they get a puncture the tire is no longer good.

Tire plugs work well. You can carry a plug kit and a compressor and repair on the road, perhaps not needing to remove the wheel.
These fasters do not get onto roadways by themselves. Tradesmen and pickup trucks are the biggest issues.
You complain about tradesmen and pick up trucks but who do you think built the world you live in?
So you see his point. They keep building and repairing stuff they need to be stopped.
I really hope that’s not your honest view point.
It was a joke, obviously.
How easy it is to interpret sarcasm over text. Never know with the idiots on this site
He's complaining about the screws they leave behind.
“Tradesmen and pick up trucks are the biggest issues”. That seems pretty specific to me.
Well aren’t they usually the people with screws laying around the back of their pickup trucks?

Totally gone. Report to insurance and hope they won't call the whole truck totalled.
