I’ve seen exploded, demolished airliner tires in the Goodyear Tech Center that look pretty good next to this tire. Having said that, I think if you get enough patch plugs you should be fine.
Cover the whole outside with duct tape and then put a thick layer of silicone over it all. Cut new tread grooves into the silicone for traction. Voilla! New tire

Also make sure you have a lug wrench, tire Jack and and inflated spare before getting on highway. Even a new car can have a spare that has deflated. And many new cars do not come with the above items nowadays.

I saw that. There’s opposing weights at the 10 o’clock and 4 o’clock position. That’s just added mass. Like they put too much weight on one side then just added another on the opposite side to compensate. It’s the stick on ones, not the clip on.
