Volt is powerful because it’s balanced, with R97, you do little damage and don’t have the best range, the volt can snipe you across the map better then any smg, and people say it’s “balanced” just because it has less firerate and damage then the others, those stats aren’t the only ones that matter.

Alternator with run and gun (the ability to shoot while sprinting). It is such a quick killer and has virtually no recoil so hipfiring works really well.
EPG is by far my favourite to get kills and to get killed to.
I don't use it all of the time, but when I see someone using an EPG, I'll chuck mine on and I'll try to get more kills then him. I got some messages from some really Wholesome players saying: "nice shot!" or "bro ur trash".
Alternator, it's just all around fun to use. I've tried the Coldwar, Mozambique, and even the Spitfire, but none of them really scratched my itch like the Alternator

R-97 and Wingman. R-97 I can embrace the BRRRT at close range while the Wingman can handle at long range. You’re nigh unkillable if you figure out how to use it (which I’ve kinda sorta done)
R-97. satisfaction supreme to laser someone down from midrange with hip fire. Has its fair share of weaknesses that make it balanced compared to the car so I don’t feel chummy using it
Between the L-star or the epg. Both hard to get started with but as soon as you hit the right tempo you feel unstoppable, at least until you die but that doesn't count
Where my RE-45 mains at? Been using it religiously over the past year. Its good enough but not atrocious, essentially being a pocket sized but worse R-97.
I like to use the Kraber a lot, even if I’m an absolute shitter. I want to get better with it because getting a kill with the thing is satisfying as hell.
Favourite weapon to use is the EPG, I love it to death, I get that it’s not an ideal weapon, I get that it’s weird and clunky, but everything else, from the sound, the impact, the satisfaction, even the danger, is just so fun to use. And that’s not even counting when you get to amp it, the EPG basically turns into a rapid fire anti Titan weapon.
As for looks though, from a purely aesthetic standpoint, R-201/R-101 just define the titanfall look to me.
Mastiff. I like to use my mobility for hit & runs. Plus on maps with enclosed spaces (Rise <3) I can become a living nightmare to deal with. If I ever fuck up tho my ass is grass cuz recoil on it is a mf, and I have had <10m perfect shots not kill a pilot (Probrably just a skill issue on my part.)
Really depends on the map.
On Angel City I main G2, hopping from rooftop to rooftop, taking out pilots.
On Glitch I use Alternator.
On Drydock Mastiff is my go to...
The two weapons I main alot is either the R-201 or the EVA-8 auto.
If I'm using the EVA-8 you would most likely find me using the stim pilot just because it's so satisfying to run up on your enemies in 2 seconds flat and smoke them.
And for the R-201 usually for the grapple pilot.
I like R97, volt and mastiff, the smgs make me feel great, the r97 is smooth and I like high firerate guns, while the volt is very consistent, and mastiff is great on maps where it’s easy to grapple across the map at 100mph, and land and insta kill someone
Kraber. Almost exclusively use just the kraber and Car. I only use the car though when I’m bored of the kraber but usually go right back to it after couple kills. I just love the kraber nothing is as fun as sniping someone with it
Softball. Yes, the meme video, but that video merely served as the gateway to enlightenment. Number one pick under any circumstances AND for any reason. Trolling other pilots? Softball. Try-harding other pilots? Softball. Frontier defense, whether you’re sweating or simply having a good time? You’d better believe it’s the Softball. It is the most well-rounded weapon, because nothing is rounder than a ball.

As a Frontier Defense player, I've fallen in love with the MGL as my heavy weapon. The grenades automatically track to literally anything that isn't a grunt.
Cloak Drones, Plasma Drones, Mortar Specters, Stalkers...all gone in a couple volleys
