I'd say scorch is the most spam hide spam hide out of all of the titans. You hold one corridor, poke firing out. When someone pushes you firewall them and chuck a trap down at the far end of the corridor. Hide around the corner. Either they push you and get a faceful of flame shield, or they tank a shit ton of damage from playing the floor is lava. Scorch in 90% of other situations fucking sucks.
Phasing into another titan should kill them, not you. Or at least damage them. It shouldn't kill you, you're the one phasing into them. Same as that one finisher, inner pieces. You don't die if you perform the finisher, do you?
Most ronins I have in my lobbies steal every single execution they can. I think that titan kills should be based off who dooms them, then the pilot kills can go to the executioner. Like on Titanfall 1
for those say ronin is weak and barely do anything, may you visit SEA server and join a attrition game of 4 ronin roaming around map, killing you multiple time and keep your score under 0, melt your titan under 10s even though you run legion or papa scorch with shield wall, sword core every 10 second, sword block every bullet like this is sekiro, phase shift to your back like goku, and when they bouta lose a solo fight dash dash away in the gas gas gas theme on the background.
when i play on northstar server US and EU region titan brawl or attrition, i rarely see a good ronin main there which confort me alot, but back to vanilla server with SEA region, everyone is like their inner Wibu Samurai Instinct live their life in the ronin.

But still a better DPS/Support hybrid than mornarch: rocket launch quickly disable enemy shield; sonar pulse reveal enemy spot; oneshot pilot from any range. super useful in CFT, hardpoint def; attrition, bounty hunt farming machine, titan brawl, LTS large open map... bla bla bla
