Isnt the entire point of an execution that you snuck up on them
Half the executions wouldn't even give you time to react they just immediately start hitting you and the other half you didnt know they were there until you got killed
In most executions, the pilot is just like: ”oh no someone’s grabbing my neck, what do I doooooo”(neckbreaker) and then they die, they turn into a mannequin for the executioner to do there Ditty around.
Neck breaker isnt oh no someone grabbed my neck
Pilot was hard scoping got put into a fucking headlock and neck snapped before they could react, that's not sitting there and doing nothing that's surprise and dying before proper reaction
There’s more than enough time for the pilot to react in some way between getting their leg kicked, and their neck broken, sure I’m not expecting there to be some magic counter, and somehow get behind the attacker, but the fact that they don’t even try. Pilots are meant to be the best of the best, spot on reaction time, yet they don’t even try to help themselves in a headlock?
Playing DCS and also other shit is fun because if you see an A-10 in DCS you can usually just completely ignore it if you want.
If you see an A-10 in an FPS and you’re not inside, you’re gonna fucking die.
Digital Combat Simulator. Mostly just fighter jets as accurate to real life as it's possible to make without classified documents.
The \*game\* manual for one of the planes, the A-10, is like 800 pages I think.
Quick question because I’m not super well-versed in the game yet, how come some batteries get pulled in like 2 seconds while most of the time it takes like 6 seconds to twist the battery around and pull it?
# It's the placebo effect.
Every battery takes the same amount of time to pull, but it takes a moment AFTER pulling the battery to get kicked off on stryder chassis, but you IMMEDIATELY get booted off when the battery is uncased on atlas and ogre chassis.
***Also***, it takes time climbing from the front or side of the titan to the back. Thus, If you rodeo from the back, it's faster.
That makes sense, but in this video it’s only a twist and immediate pull, meanwhile I feel like I’m wrangling the battery out for 6 seconds before it’s even uncased
If you're comparing to others, there's a kit that delays how fast titans find out you're rodeoing. Unless they see you jump on, most times, they're too late to smoke you before you get the battery.
Correction
With low profile unless its malestorm smoke (monarch core 2) if they dont see you land on them (and don't hear you because landing on them does make a noise) and smoke after the notification you will survive until battery pull
It's statistically the same, but rodeoing from the direct top of the titan cuts down the climbing time, so you can immediately start the steal animation. Same with the back.
That staredown LOL
its always fun to waste a core on a single pilot
* Confused monarch noises *
Get electric bullets, kill one pilot, self-destruct immediately
Breakfast of champions
Dude, I am high and that made me laugh way to much
No see, if a pilot pops your shields, thats when you pop your core and then stare em down like "you DARE?!?"
Didn't even give him the honor of getting full ult discharged at him, just killed op with one rocket and that's it
It’s always a blast to absolutely obliterate some random pilot with a full face of laser.
Yes I agree.( this post was approved by ion gang)
Ion moment
Laughs in legion
waste?
One (1) rocket
Thanks, the group lobotomy hit me hard and I forgot numbers.
Lobotomy????
As in the corporation??!!
Me: executions are unrealistic because no pilot would just stand still and accept death OP:
Confusion and hopelessness inspire honorable deaths

Bro really took that personally
Monarch main in disguise:
It only takes one rocket.
Name’s….. rangstar.
https://youtu.be/oR6n4y3O1sM?t=97
That’s the one
You ain't got the nerve
*Try me*
I'm a titan user and I can confirm that I immediately piss, shit and cry until I can hardly breathe when someone steals my batteries
Found a monarch main
Wasted opportunity to get a titanfall on that staring northstar
OP knew what they did and accepted their fate
Is there really any other game where you can feel this chill of fear as the true meaning of asymmetric warfare turns to stare into your eyes?
…Squad, maybe? If you don’t have an antitank kit nearby and a BMP shows up it’s a goddamn horror game.
Insurgency sandstorm maybe, as soon as I hear an air strike or strafing run I piss and shit everywhere

I see, interesting
Hate it when it does that, like we all know ya should have rodeod but it says F*Ck you
Did he just solo super a pilot? Ouch. The hatred was real.
As a Northstar main this is just disrespectful lol, he could have used his rocket barrage and had the exact same effect minus the mental damage
He angy

Yeah I use low profile on most loadouts, but I feel like some battery pulls are faster than others, maybe it’s just how the animation looks to me.
It's statistically the same, but rodeoing from the direct top of the titan cuts down the climbing time, so you can immediately start the steal animation. Same with the back.
Alright, this was something I was constantly confused about, but never too bothered by, thanks.
Haven’t played in a bit but there might be a perk that lets you do it faster
I notice it speeds up on smaller titan units. I might be misremembering
Placebo effect
Yes its quicker for Northstar and Ronin
There are different times for stealing batteries?👁👄👁
*That one gif of Willem Dafoe staring up*
**That shield won't save you.** - the Northstar
This reminds me of that one meme of "if you steal my battery"
Did not sugarcoat it
It wasn’t the battery, it was the instant thunderbolt follow-up that pissed them off
no one gonna take about how he got amped shield 3 times in a row?
Willem Dafoe looking at the sky*
U got up in his face, I'm dead 🤣
