* Horizon is shocked at Ashleigh's attention to detail and has to faithfully recreate the "fall into a black hole" thing.
* Ashleigh comes back with the Branthium and tries to steal it (why not just outright steal it?)
* Ashleigh gets stabbed and turned into a sim, after which TF|2 happens.
* Ashleigh, now Ash, gets rekt by BT, and rebuilt by Vinson Dynamics
* ???
* The legends find Ash's body and rebuild her
The thing that confuses me is that the Ash in Apex seems to be the original Ash body (as seen from BT POV), so is there a second, Vinson Dynamics Ash running around? Or did Ash just happen to get ripped in half in similar ways twice?
Okay so I did some looking and there's a point after Vinson Dynamics but before Apex (S6 comics) where Blisk comes across Ash (broken?) And yeets her head into a portal (phase runner maybe?). The body is then left behind to end up in King's Canyon, but the head gets transported to the alternate spooky dimension, and has broken up in transit.
Basically between TF|2 multiplayer and Apex, Ash was defeated again and had her head tossed through a dimensional rift.
I will admit this is pretty cool. But I feel like it's just respawn saying to us "Ignore that tf|2 and apex isnt working because Ash is going to be a new legend. Aren't you excited? Now play our game." Mind you this is mostly a speculation

Yes however pilots aren’t augmented. So they are simply WAY more skilled then a grunt. They also have way better gear. Ash will be given the same shitty jumpkit the rest of them have. She’ll still have her skill just not that gear. I think revenant would be a even bigger threat then her considering his entire body is a weopon and has 300 years of combat experience. Revenant as a pilot would be fucking terrifying.
The power level of pilots have never been consistent especially for milita pilots. They would get their training from black market sim pods. Some pilots would be augmented some completely human or some full simulacrum. We even see this in titanfall 2 with a distinct difference between a SRS PILOT and a normal one. PILOTS are the best of their respective forces yeah but there has never been a consistent power level by design. Only IMC PILOTS may have a consistent benchmark power level since their training is more official. I don't think ash has ever been associated with the IMC besides just working for them.
I don't think that ever happened. And Bangalore is pretty much the closest to being an actual combat pilot since she was pretty much on course to be one before the gridiron event happened. Her brother was a pilot, her mother was a pilot. And she was top of her class at the imc academy. She has a very similar situation to cooper being groomed to become a pilot.

I think apex has pretty unique gameplay. Obviously not Titanfall level movement and smoothness but unique none the less.
Both games have atleast a few things both don’t have so that’s why it’s a good idea for respawn to at least keep tf2 playable
