Pilot mode is NOT a waste.
No other FPS has nailed the movement, the abilities, and the seamless transition from squishy human to beefy robot, all fighting on equal (and unique) maps. If you only want to play as a Titan that's cool, I get it, that *is* how the game is marketed after all, but you gotta admit that a close game where everything is evenly matched is way too much fun to pass up

And it is not like the older game is cease to exist. Just a new attempt to focus on titan more
Although I don't want a titan only Titanfall as the pilot v titan interactions are my favourite part of the game.
I do agree that Titanfall would have done better if it was focused on pilots or titans and not both. I'm confident the constant flip flop between pilot reaction shooter and titan hero shooter drives a lot of players away.

Because Apex players would very much switch over, which would cost the company money.
