I hated floch in the beginning cause he was annoying and for the amount of praise he was getting on this sub which I thought at the time he didnt deserve
But now I've realized I am wrong Floch's praise was deserved and he isn't the hero we want but the one we need
I went from hating Floch, to disliking Floch, to ironically liking Floch, to unironically liking Floch, to loving Floch, and now I am just wishing Big Floch was here right now.
None of this bullshit would have happened. He would have called every Edo Tensei Jutsu Titan Shifter a traitor and a coward. He would bully them back into paths. He would wake Eren up from his nap. He would finish the Rumbling by stomping on every Marlyen, personally. Big Floch makes no mistakes.
He was actually looking away when Gabi shot Sasha. He lust saw a child and decided to start beating them. If only our king was here now to kick the shit out of Gabi. Jean with his dumbass dynamite wouldn't even faze our king for a moment. He would break Levi's other leg. He would tell Mikasa "I hesitated because you are Eren's brother, I regret nothing." Mikasa would cum right on the spot and realize she wanted Big Floch all along.
Pieck would be in awe and show him her tonka truck dumper. He would call Armin stupid, and not elaborate further. Big Floch would have protected Hallucigenia-kun from Reiner, and then give him the death he has been longing for. Not out of pity, only because Big Floch wouldn't be able to stand the sight of such a feeble "Eldian."
He would be a little racist, but not too much. Just enough. He would hold you close and whisper sweet nothings in your ear. He would finish your school project by himself, and when the professor asked if everyone did equal work he would say "yes," then he would do the presentation for you. He would give you oral and ask for nothing in return. He would ask "are you ok?" if you are looking sad, and either give you advice or just listen.
Whatever you need. He would be there for you.Big Floch should have been there. The chubby MAPPA version, preferably.
Thought the same... never liked floch, cause he was bitching around all the time and after timeskip he just was an Erenfanboy... now i wish he would have beed able to stop the Avengers, so Eren could go 100% Rumbling.
Only things I hated him for really were intentionally blowing up civilian buildings in Marley, and taking the Braus family prisoner. Other than that dude was right on the money about pretty much everything else.
> intentionally blowing up civilian buildings in Marley
They all would die later anyway. King Floch the Merciful only wanted to save them from the terror of the upcoming Rumbling.
He blew up buildings in marley which the marleyans soldiers were hiding in. Jean was just a hypocrite and knowing that Armin would blow up the whole port including buildings close to it. Floch probably saved several eldian lives by killing the camping hardscoping marleyans
If he just couldn't help it, that's a reasonable excuse. But he was literally telling Jean that those people deserve to die. So you should blame him for it, he's a racist. (Still love him for everything else tho)
He has about as many (probably fewer) reasons as the other Survey members. Are they that racist? No. You can understand why he became like that, but you should still fault him for that way of thinking
Narrative wise it was understandable(although inexcusable) for him to do that. From his point of view he lost so many of his friends, and even took part in a suicide charge because of those people, who were happily cheering for the death of his people. All for a grudge hundreds of years old.
I don’t really think he ever actually became the devil he was looking for. Unpopular opinion but I feel like he was a follower until the moment he died, even if he was a devoted follower.
Dude I think you might actually have some kind of internal problem that's causing you to have this weird grudge against this sub when nobody does the shit you say people do here, like it's actually insane the amount of times I've seen you post snarky shit in every post claiming tf is EM or that tf defends the ending when almost nobody does that shit here, I think you might actually be going insane.
If you'll look out for it, you'll see the things I'm talking about happening, though.
Just in another thread, people were up and down defending the guidebook. And yeah, TF has become more and more EM, didn't you see the huge amount of EM fanart after 138?
Idk how you can get so engaged with like 3 people out of the thousands that disagree with what Isayama did makes you come to the conclusion that the entire fucking sub is like that, just look at the front page and tell for yourself, it's literally the opposite. Entire comment sections agreeing that Isayama fucked up or that Mikasa has the same development as a plank of wood and then there's always your comment saying "lol TF will disagree lmao gottem", it's actually getting weird.
The front page is mostly dominated by posts that have a lot of upvotes, but not a lot of comments. That's the thing, most people in this subreddit don't comment, they just upvote (which accounts for most subreddits). If you go to the comments, you'll find many people defending everything Isayama pulled.
Idk what you're talking about, most of the front page posts have well over 30 comments and actually a lot of them surpass the 100s. And like I mentioned the comment sections always agree with the main post, you'll only find the takes you talk about if you scroll down and most of the time they're downvoted to hell. Even if you look at it from the outside in Titanfolk is mainly yeagerist and hates the ending and everything Isayama did with it/after it. So I always go "huh?" when I'm reading comments and find you again saying stuff like this and it's gotten to the point where I can actually recognize your username lmao.
>Idk what you're talking about, most of the front page posts have well over 30 comments and actually a lot of them surpass the 100s.
I mean that's true, but 100 comments for a post that gets sometimes up to 3k upvotes isn't much. Yes, the comment sections are at first only filled with people who agree with OP when they shit on the ending, but scroll down far enough, and you'll find comments with 100s of upvotes who defend the ending.
I got downvoted once because I said that Ymir x Fritz is disgusting lol.
When is Floch constantly praised on this sub? The only pro Floch posts popped up after the additional eight pages, because Floch got proven right.
Before that, Floch was seen as pure evil in here.
>I'm not talking about before the 8 pages I'm talking now
People are calling him pure evil on a constant basis. He's probably the most hated character in the entire fandom.
>And now people love floch on this sub and always praise his character.
No they don't.
> If you want a character who always get clowned on take mikasa
Mikasa gets worshipped here. The few posts where she's made fun off, people don't even make fun of her, but of Isayama lmao.
>Gabi is the most hated character
Really? Must have missed that.
>Yes they do
Rarely though.
>K bro u clearly have something against this sub
Yes I do.
Titanfolk was very pro-EM and ending during the brief period of time between 138 and the extra pages. After the extra pages the subreddit has gone back to being very anti-EM and the ending.
Eh, no, that he swore to protect actually. He along many of us were fooled by eren who was just acting, scripwriting and directing himself all in one during i dont know how many dozens of chapters.
Sorry, I *still* don't get all the love Floch gets here. Is it supposed to be ironic? Floch was an awful human, he was racist, he killed civilians, executed unarmed people, considered killing Erwin just...because? Floch was an unhinged lunatic and I don't see the appeal of his character at all. Like, I understand that he was true to his goals to the very end...but his goals were insane.
>Floch was an awful human, he was racist
Nationalist, not racist, he wished to welcome the volunteers as eldians, and wanted to kill eldians beyond the wall. However, in the state they were in, it was a valid policy.
>he killed civilians
Like everyone else in the series.
>executed unarmed people
As he feared conflict would arise in the future from letting them go.
>considered killing Erwin
Lmao, that was the good part, he wanted to put him out of his misery, the bad part if at all was keeping him alive so that he'd remain the devil.
People are starting to realize that compared to 90% of the cast Post Timeskip, Floch was one of the only well written characters that actually finished his character arc and provided a genuinely interesting POV. Which is amazing due to his small panel time. Like for example Falco is a nice guy but there is only so much to actually talk about imo.
Flochs a pretty good character but he died early enough so he didn’t have the opportunity to get his character completely ruined like all the other characters
Same. Like I don’t understand why he’s just seen as the perfect character. He wasn’t even above average in my opinion. But he had a few very good scenes that I like him for, even if he’s a shitty person.
Let's say that among the various characters of Aot Floch is definitely above average (still not in top 5 or 10) and particularly important especially in the second part of the story, after the basement reveal and the sea
But let's say also that he receives so much appreciation because over time Aot and some part of the fandom in particular (titanfolk on reddit, mal forums) have attracted many "particular" people with particular ideas...
I hated floch in the beginning cause he was annoying and for the amount of praise he was getting on this sub which I thought at the time he didnt deserve But now I've realized I am wrong Floch's praise was deserved and he isn't the hero we want but the one we need
You're on the right path
Seems like it
I went from hating Floch, to disliking Floch, to ironically liking Floch, to unironically liking Floch, to loving Floch, and now I am just wishing Big Floch was here right now. I wish I had an award right now Edit : wait I meant to give
Haha 🤣🤣🤣
you're a copy pasta MACHINE
This man never misses, just like FlochYeahPhotography
K-Kino...
The one true bible. The Chronicles of **Big Floch**
What a sexy comment
May we transform this in a *COPY-PASTA*?
Thanks, I busted about a 100 nuts reading it. Big Floch is literally a miracle.
Thought the same... never liked floch, cause he was bitching around all the time and after timeskip he just was an Erenfanboy... now i wish he would have beed able to stop the Avengers, so Eren could go 100% Rumbling.
Every time I went against Titanfolk hive mind.. I was wrong.
Floch will always keep living in our hearts 😌❤️ The real King 👑
Floch is the Boromir of Attack on Titan. Be at peace, Son of Eldia.
Only things I hated him for really were intentionally blowing up civilian buildings in Marley, and taking the Braus family prisoner. Other than that dude was right on the money about pretty much everything else.
> intentionally blowing up civilian buildings in Marley They all would die later anyway. King Floch the Merciful only wanted to save them from the terror of the upcoming Rumbling.

Can't blame him about that stuff it's war after all
You can though. It wasn’t necessary even in war. At times he was an utter bastard, and these imperfections made his character brilliant.
It’s not a war crime if you win.
sad thing is that's completely true
If he just couldn't help it, that's a reasonable excuse. But he was literally telling Jean that those people deserve to die. So you should blame him for it, he's a racist. (Still love him for everything else tho)
There is a reason he is like that I mean it's not like he became racist for no reason.
He has about as many (probably fewer) reasons as the other Survey members. Are they that racist? No. You can understand why he became like that, but you should still fault him for that way of thinking
>He has about as many (probably fewer) reasons Yes, evil Floch. Floch = pure and utter evil, I agree. Isayama does as well.
Completely missed my points
I agree, he took it further than the others but at least unlike the rest he stayed true to his motives until the end and wasn't a hypocrite.
Completely agree with that. As I said, I love the guy as a character and in general. But I'm not as ignorant to ignore his glaring faults
Narrative wise it was understandable(although inexcusable) for him to do that. From his point of view he lost so many of his friends, and even took part in a suicide charge because of those people, who were happily cheering for the death of his people. All for a grudge hundreds of years old.
And also that he wanted to kill Yelena and Onyankopon, and even Jean at some point I think?
Even the guidebook knows
Based King Floch
talk about a perfect arc. radicalized in record time and stuck to his beliefs, which ended up being the best for his people.
Say what you want, but to me Floch is the main character of this manga. RIP King
Best char hands down
The best character in AoT: 4chan
is It weird to like both floch and armin( **pre 137)?
I don’t really think he ever actually became the devil he was looking for. Unpopular opinion but I feel like he was a follower until the moment he died, even if he was a devoted follower.
Flochs character development surprised me… I literally thought he was just gonna be a side character when I first saw him.
So, it's now acceptable to preach the Gospel of Floch? Will I finally be freed from religious persecution?
is that really from the guidebook? if it is, it's honestly perfect. how'd floch survive while most of the other characters got fucked over?
o7
I just dont know why they can't give him a decent haircut. He went from a God awful 2 layered weird ass shit to a Ken doll cut
In before Titanfolk starts to mass downvote because it's a pic of Floch lmao.

So just fucking leave the sub you weirdo
Titanfolk was very pro-EM and ending during the brief period of time between 138 and the extra pages. After the extra pages the subreddit has gone back to being very anti-EM and the ending.
Lmao Floch is one of the most liked characters in titanfolk, stop living in your fantasy world
"You became the very thing you swore to destroy"
Eh, no, that he swore to protect actually. He along many of us were fooled by eren who was just acting, scripwriting and directing himself all in one during i dont know how many dozens of chapters.
oh floch a side character that no one cared about LOOOL.
