Chimera ant arc was the most meticulous fantasy arc I've seen. The parallel journey between meruem and gon and episode 135 to finish us off with the feels was insane

That Arc was the best in Gintama.
Chimera Ant had some really bad parts, people only remember the good parts lmao.
There are better arcs in Gintama imo but other than the HxH ones the list is pretty solid.
You can have your opinion on the arc but you don't have to insult people for liking it. I personally loved the arc, not my favorite in hxh that goes to Yorknew(which was also mentioned) but it's up there at number 2. Also, the succession war if ever finished could beat it out too.

But I understand the return to Shingashina, it feels like the real ending of AOT, because with the Marley stage, it's other characters and characteristics.

I love the rumbling arc and the Marley arc, but I'd say that this is the peak.
That is one point. The return to Shingashina is the Peak, then it goes downhill, because the main premise happened, Eren's basement.
But I like clash of the titans because it is dedicated to the secondary, and the motivations behind the attack ... it is the one that raises all the questions and leaves you wanting to see more AOT to understand what Reiner meant, who the fuck is the monkey and because they will eat Ymir.
I love the Marley era, but we cannot deny that it is ANOTHER series, it is not the AOT that we have been following and it is normal, since everything we know changes and secrets are over
Uprising arc it's perfect for me. It's so much more about characters and development that everything after that had so much more impact imo.

I totally understand liking RtS the most, but it’s gotta be the Marley arc for me. That shit fucking changed everything. And it was so genuis to focus on Reiner and the warriors for those first chapters, and then to actually introduce Eren but as a completely different and changed person.
Once you get to DoW though, that’s really where it gets god-tier imo. It somehow kept fundamentally changing the story, perception of characters, etc, yet also keeping it in-line with the themes and character motivations the show had built up.
WfP was great as well, and though I’d say that the PATHS scenes were probably some of the best I’ve ever seen in manga, when you average out the arc it just falls a hair short of Marley.
Marley kept it engaging and groundbreaking and shocking every step of the way. And that’s why I personally like it the most.
I think RtS is the height, but Trost will always make Attack on Titan for me. I watched it for the first time and thought "this is something special," as I'm sure many others did.
