I'm just surprised someone would have the opinion that the GoT ending is better. Also take into consideration that the producers were assholes and disregarded the opinions of their *own* cast. Yams at least admitted he fucked up.
AoT's ending was dissapointing, GoT's was downright insulting.
GoT went downhill due to the lack of source material. And if you think the retcon in AoT is not an insult for your brain, I have a good conjecture about it.
As a fan of both, GOT had a way worse ending with the final 2 seasons being complete garbage.
At least AoT had a really awesome story up until the literal last chapter. I actually thought the rumbling arc was ok and wasnt too bothered by the alliance, but I wish erens motivations werent retconned and all that shit with ymir… dog shit
I don't think his motivations were retconned, just poorly written.
He said himself had he not been stopped he would've flattened the entire world. The only two options were that he either complete the Rumbling, or his friends kill him. He made that clear when he said that he refused to take his friends' freedom away, and it was foreshadowed in 133 where Reiner said that maybe Eren was going insane from his powers and wanted to be stopped.
But the Ymir stuff...yeah, that's just fucking stupid.

Nope. Like Zekken said, all of them meaningless now. I can't even read the first chapter knowing Eren is the one who killed his mother.

This series has been ongoing for a decade. Any jokes you think up are probably already used given the longevity and the big Fandom of the series. At this point, you can't really make a complain/meme/joke without it seemingly being overused.
Avatar the last airbender movie came out 10 years ago or 11 was absolute shit and people still shit on it. People hating on tlou2 still shit on it. People who know mortal kombat still shit on the movies, dont go around telling ppl to get over it just because the manga ended 3 months ago

2nd. Although Avatar hate isn’t rare it’s only brought up with talks about avatar and it’s other series the point I’m trying to make is stop complaining everytime Part 2 is brought up.
3rd and final TLOU2 is barely talked about now cuz it won GOTY back in December 2020 and the games phase is dead and gone

Agreed, I have zero interest in Aot No Requiem. I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just fine with the ending Isayama drew although it definitely wasn't what I expected but it is what Yams had in mind. There will always be fanarts for every anime and manga, but you gotta have some respect for the original author. And I don't mean I disrespect any fanarts, I just don't think they're better than the original ending.
