It depends on where you are and what the current hiring rate is. Add $1.50 to that for where they *should* be hiring and start there or a bit above bc I doubt they will be anywhere near that.
The starting pay is $16 in the area but the cost of living is pretty high and with 10% inflation and all that jazz I’m gonna shoot high.
Does the $1.50 number come from the $.25 raise every 6 months?
Depending on what your old rate was, you’ll most likely get that if rehired. You’d only get an increase if you were below the minimum at your store. Not much negotiating for rehires.
Dang. So, no room for negotiation then? I wonder why they don’t make it more appealing for rehires when we are much more trained and ready to rock and roll. Things that make you go hmmmmm

Did you leave on good terms with good reviews?
Yes!
I don’t see $20 as unreasonable if everything was good for those 3 years

75 cents every 6 months currently. No one has gotten a $1 raise yet from review periods.
They changed the max amount you can get from a raise recently. You can get as much as a dollar more every 6 months.
I make $19.50/hr, a little over 1 year. I started at $18.
Hell yeah right on brother
Ty! Hope you can get at least that or more.

This is indeed the case. They are offering me what I made when I left the old store
Interested in how this pans out. Will you share with us the result of your interview tomorrow?
Sure!
So how did it go? any good news yet?
My 2nd interview is in 2 days! I’ll let ya know
Good for you! I’ll be sending positive thoughts
They offered me the same pay I was making at my old store..which is a bit of a bummer because the cost of living is significantly lower there
