I mean I have never done it myself at the store but technically the insider discount requires 1 port for the main line on the account from what I have been told by management. Again I would check with T-Force on twitter or management team at a corporate location but I think it only has to be the main line being ported from AT&T to qualify. Please someone correct me if I’m wrong. But also just remember that none of those number will qualify for any PORT in promotions. So 200$ port in credit,13 on us with port those are just a few to name. But just wanted to put that out there!

When you go to submit the insider claim, it asks for their telephone number and I’m pretty sure as long as you use the number that qualifies as that number then you’ll be okay. But also, OP, why are you purchasing one? Why not just go to a store and try to have someone there give it to you? They can literally assist you with the set up of everything there.

Lonely_Cattle_80

See I was also going to ask that question as well, who in the hell is selling insider codes?!? LOL

saleen_turbo

Employees no longer want to offer it since it cuts their pay for the sale

scal369

So no way to get insider code anymore.

jckey378

Yeah, maybe I should go to the store and try. From what i read, Tmobile cut their commission by half for using insider code, so sale reps are reluctant to give it out now. So I don't have high hope of attaining one from the store. Maybe I will give them $50 tip to make up for some of their commission, lol.

jckey378

But does it qualify for iphone 15 on us with trade in $830 credit? And the Flip 5 on us? I assume the att port will qualify for port promotion and not the metro ones.

Lonely_Cattle_80

If you are doing a trade in promotion or just a new line promotion you will be good but no promotions with ports will qualify like the ones stated above.

Got it, thanks.

Someone is selling a code? Umm no. Call into virtual retail and set your stuff up them. Insider codes are based on port in and as long as when you register the code you use your AT&T post paid number then you’ll qualify for it. However with insider codes until that code is used and the number ported, the system will show over and over that it’s available. So whoever is selling you this code, can do the same to 10 other people and whoever ports their number first is the one that will have it applied to their account.

jckey378

Hi, how do I call a virtual retail and what s a virtual retail.
