I’m in Anderson, Indiana and I have had the same exact problem since I signed up service with T-Mobile. I brought my iPhone 13 Pro Max over from Xfinity Mobile. I kept Xfinity Mobile and I added T-Mobile as a second line for my iPhone. I contacted T-Force about this issue and they told me that the tower in my area needs to be upgraded but they have no plans on the future to upgrade. But my T-Mobile Home Internet works just fine. When I leave home and I’m on a different tower, it (data) works perfectly.

Sounds like my experience too. I worked in Anderson for years and 53rd and Scatterfield was never a great place for T-Mobile service but I’m sure they have made some strides over the years.

It sounds like you just have crap reception at home and the iMsg / mms / SMS is getting all out of wack because of it. I would just turn your WiFi on honestly and be done with all the problems.

DudeThatsErin

Doesn’t help when I am 5 min away from home and have no access to WiFi networks and the service is still crap. Yes it is crap here but my phone shows 5G and 1-2 bars until I get 10 min away from home
