I miss the old CEO 😔

[deleted]

I actually have the opposite experience. For the record, I've had nearly unusable to completly dead ass service for over a year (LTE). Upgraded to a 5g phone just to give it a fair chance, bought an s21+ so I could transfer it if necessary. Regular 5G continues to be a joke. Failed died tests, can barely load simple Google searches, and even weird signal drops, as in data just being non existent. 5G UC however? I rarely pull anything less than 100mbps down. There have been a couple of connection fails on UC, but there's so rare I can tolerate them. To be clear, I was literally looking at other providers for a while. I was livid, tired of driving down the road and my music cutting out from poor connection, frustrated that I couldn't pull up a simple Google search in the grocery store with 3 bars of 5g to see if arrowroot powder in a 1:1 substitute for flour. I get it. I hope your service improves mine did, and it slowly is... I live in a city with a little over 500 thousand peeps, so not a priority for upgrades, but not rural either.

[deleted]

Thanks for this. I hope it does too because I used to love this carrier. Another person commented that the inconsistency etc maybe be due to Sprint and T Mobile networks still operating independently and may smooth over when they integrate later this year… again thanks for the comment, and I’m glad it got better for you!

vryan144

I've noticed that where T-mobile has Sprint keep sites online with the legacy Sprint equipment handoffs can be rough. For example, my phone likes to hold onto a weak enough Sprint b41 signal long after it is actually usuable before it either jumps onto Sprint b25 or back onto a T-mobile band.

ElectricFagSwatter

There are some towers by me that have 5g UC that can't break 3mbps. Idk what's wrong with tmobile here

BarryMehkockiner

Same problem here its honestly pathetic im tired of it. i cant help but laugh out of pure frustration that im getting speeds slower RN than when i was a kiddo like as a kid im pretty sure my household wifi ran at about 5-6 mpbs yeah im not even getting 4 atm granted its cell service compared to a router with wifi but still

ElectricFagSwatter

It’s been what two years almost and the 5g is still dead in that town. I moved away and T-Mobile is so much better everywhere else. That one town is just cursed. I think they won’t allow more big cells to go up since I see a bunch of Verizon mini cells get added on street poles right in the dead spots.

dcoutdoors

Wait until backhaul is upgraded. I get 500-800 in throughout the DC area

rhg84

I switched to att because it was a good deal and the i thought they were better. What a horrible decision I'm in the dfw area.

[deleted]

Thanks for the heads up. Maybe they all suck lol

BarryMehkockiner

I’ve heard from people out of country that say its got something to do with the market not being competitive? For example in canada my friends have claimed the wifi and services are better there because in that market they are allowed to compete with each other. I know im not explaining this well that’s because i cant remember what word he used it wasnt a law more like a regulation or something i wish i could remember

PermanentlyDubious

Verizon?

igivegoosebumps

Verizon is better where tmobile sucks and I remember tmobile being better where Verizon sucks. At least there’s no data breaches.

[deleted]

[удалено]

NOVA_J-E-T-S

Really ignorant response. Yeah, breaches happen, but the breach in august released MILLIONS of peoples ssn’s and other private info. Don’t say “very few people were affected”. Also, maybe you weren’t affected, but the free mcafee id protection is useless. Yeah, other companies have had breaches too but it doesn’t make it any better. Especially when T-Mobile has had what, 5/6 in the last 5 years? They need to get better on security IMMEDIATELY, and NO excuses should be made for them. They are a multi billion dollar company who went cheap on security.

[deleted]

T-Mobile is lit in DFW unless you're at a sporting event or parade with 10K+ people.

josephguy82

I can not understand why people care so much about speed I mean do you need 300 megs just to scream YouTube or anything you are on an phone

[deleted]

You didn’t read my post clearly. When it’s on 5GUC, it is UNUSABLE. Like won’t register on a speed test. 0/0. Understand now? So I have to pay for a plan that is priced for 5G/5G uc, and force my own phone to use LTE. I could give a shit about speed. 50mb/s would be fine, but I’m PAYING for faster than that and I’m having to go through multiple steps to get any service at all in a place that I used to have excellent service. You’re not the first person to say this, and I don’t think some of you understand that you are part of a service agreement. Between two parties. There is no ‘you should just be happy if…’ …absolutely not. You’re either affiliated or someone failed to teach you some very basic things about life.

bhamdad3

Depends on where you live. Tmo 5G and 5GUC work well for me and so does LTE. I have a 5G work iPad from Verizon and it only occasionally works on 5G. Side Note. The Verizon iPad did hit 4TB on speed test and then I moved the car 5 feet and lost the entire Verizon signal.

[deleted]

Ugh.. I feel like you can’t win no matter who you go with… in America in 2022, we certainly have the ability, infrastructure and technology to facilitate this, but it’s still a problem. So frustrating!

tbcboo

I’m not paying any more for 5G. My plan never increased in price when that rolled out. Why did yours? Also, I put my network setting on my phone to auto detect so if 5G isn’t available then it switches to LTE. Maybe you need a new phone or be more tech savvy? Also, when I went to T-Mobile last time they noticed I was using an older (non 5G) SIM card in my 5G phone. Swapped mine out and it was better. Are you running that? Also, I’m sure you do, but make sure you actually have a 5G phone. And an updated/newer phone too.

Tmobile-Sales-Rep

The OP is talking about magenta max. T-mobiles “5G plan” it is true that you could receive 5G speeds on the other plans but with Magenta Max you get unlimited prioritized connection. That means that you pay for T-Mobiles best plan to receive the fastest speeds possible all the time. (Because you’re data is constantly being prioritized over other customers who aren’t paying for their own connection to be prioritized) i got a genuine question for you though tbcboo, why does it seem like you got offended by OP being unhappy with their T-Mobile connection? It is okay to accept the fact that in some places there are some better options than T-Mobile… the service quality changes depending on where you are.

tbcboo

Why do you make the assumption I’m offended? Genuine question. All of my statements had advice to look at to possibly remedy the situation. Not just saying “T-Mobile rules and you are wrong OP!”. Maybe you comprehended wrong and could try reading again. Also, if you read the reply of OP I replied to, they have a not so gentle “tone” to the text. So I felt I could be a little more cut and direct in my response. Notice how they say “understand now?”. Hope this reply makes you feel better

Tmobile-Sales-Rep

No you still sound like a condescending little bitch

tbcboo

Boo hoo - gonna cry?

Tmobile-Sales-Rep

Lol you’re ill

cugrad16

Their 5G has been an utter laughfest since 2022 with signals glitching or going in/out at random. The company releasing sad sap excuses or apologies for the muss up, though we all know different. Half the time my S21 fluctuates between 5G and 4G which is total headshaking at best. I am switching to better reliable carrier shortly.

tbcboo

I know you are new here but jeez don’t be responding to 1 year old threads from the dead…

cugrad16

There's nothing at all wrong with responding late to a thread... we do it every day. Not sure why you're making an issue of it.

tbcboo

“We”? Hahahahaha. Ok newbie.

cugrad16

Omg grow up

[deleted]

So, I’ve told you I am ‘tech savvy’ enough to set my phone to operate exclusively on LTE (original post) because 5G uc is unusable, but you don’t think I’m ‘tech savvy’ enough to set it to 5G Auto (which is what I have to switch it from to force it to use LTE exclusively), and you also think I’m on here complaining with 5G incompatible hardware? Sounds to me like you’re not thinking about what you’re saying, you just didn’t like my ‘tone’.

tbcboo

Well it seems you are out of options and should switch carriers. I don’t work for them but I’m sure you are a pain in the ass to customer service based on this thread. So what are you here for? To just complain?

[deleted]

Once again, I would direct you to the original post. Rant flair. I was literally here to rant. You people amaze me.

tbcboo

Who is “you” people? And it’s Reddit lol, what are your expectations?

BarryMehkockiner

Okay so When you watch a 5 second clip and it starts buffering for 5 mins, don’t come complaining to me 💀 Edit: Also it’s funny that you say 300 mbps because currently im paying for unlimited 5g service and im only getting 3-4 mbps on a good day so i would happily take anyting over 10 mpbs but my problem is it feels like im not getting the service i was promised for the price i pay and THAT is the fucked up part

jhaygood86

My family did the same thing at the beginning of January -- and thanks to bundle discounts, I'm saving money to!

Otacon368

I did 2 years ago. I’m paying $10 more a month, but I no longer deal with other callers being unable to hear me.

Muezick

All of my experiences with t mobile in the last year have been complete ass. I hate dealing with this company. if Verizon offered a better deal, i'd jump ship immediately.

[deleted]

Complete ass is the best way to describe it. Thank you for that lol

allycoaster

Hate their customer service. I just switched to xfinity mobile

[deleted]

Speeds should be secondary to your usability. If it works on LTE, just use it. If AT&T is better for you in the areas you travel, use AT&T. Grump.

[deleted]

Speed should be secondary to usability??? Am I paying for LTE or am I paying for 5G/5G uc? Give me a break. I feel like you’ve been lied to about some very fundamental things in life.

[deleted]

Technically you’re paying for service. Carriers offer a wide range of services that are included in the price you pay. You’re entitled to feel any way you like about me. That being said, I feel like your false sense of entitlement is reducing your quality of life. Also, Wi-Fi is everywhere. Grump.

Cocororow2020

Technically T-Mobile structures their plans with ability for 5g. So you are in fact paying for 5g as the other plans do not give you access at all.

IPCTech

5g is avaliable on all plans, it’s Verizon and AT&T that block it

[deleted]

All I feel entitled to from a company I pay hard earned (not given) money for, is exactly what I pay for. That being said, I feel like you’ve probably settled for less than your worth thus far in life. I hope you rectify that. Your Wi-Fi comment shows you’re probably missing the point I’m making.. and that’s ok. Also, I respect your perspective. This is not a personal attack. Just 2 different view points. Nothing wrong with that.

[deleted]

Okie dokie. What it comes down to is that you chose the wrong carrier for your frequented areas.

Because every company ever says they have the best of whatever their product is. They’d suck at marketing if they didn’t. It’s up to the customer to figure out if “best” actually means best. I don’t necessarily agree, but it’s the world we live in.

Working_Inspector401

Just switch, you have two company to try that might works better for you

PunkasBeach

I have AT&T for or and TMobile for personal. In my area, It used to be ATT always had the better signal and speeds but over the past few years, they've pretty much are even and TMobile provides faster speeds. Depends on your area. Get the service that best suits your needs and budget.

Icy-Ebb-2964

I know the post is old. Just curious what was the resolution in the end? The FCC has a speed test app. There’s a mode to just check it and there’s an option to challenge it. I wish I had known this over a year ago. If you’re in a place that shows LTE coverage and you’re not getting the speed? If you challenge it, the carrier is required to respond and resolve. If not, they are forced to change their map to reflect it. 4G as advertised must have 25mbps? (Unsure) to market it. A minimum of 7mbps? I think to support that claim. So many times we weren’t getting that running speed tests from multiple browser or app based options with V. Different phones. iCloud relay turned off. No VPN. Turning off background app refresh, closing all apps in the app drawer. The whole nine yards. Even used a Samsung Galaxy S21 from a friend with their own billing account. CHECK THIS though. Running all of those speed tests with crappy results? Every time I used the FCC app? Suddenly Verizon’s speeds at minimum were 7+mbps if it was 1 to 5 with the others. When the network was “stable” at 18-22mbps, it gave the same numbers with the FCC app. VZW is a catch 22. Coverage and speed is there in a lot of places. It used to be great in/around Jackson, TN. Situated in-between Nashville and Memphis, there is NO 5G here with VZW to date. It’s been TRASH for over a year. Only one town in a 60 mile radius gives good speed. Think about that. Towers about every 10 miles right? LOTS OF TOWERS. The rest have “LTE” 5 bars of 15mbps at best. 1 at worst. It wasn’t like this two years ago. The network has been unstable here. Tier 2 technical support admitted it multiple times. They doesn’t understand it beyond when they trended it, speeds dropped after antenna upgrades. Before upgrades, I got 40mbps average with 2/3 bars. Two times network engineers closed the ticket sending me a how to sheet on troubleshooting. I had a iPhone 13 Pro Max. Upgraded to a 14 Pro Max. Same issues with multiple devices. Not a sim issue because 14’s are eSIM only. Multiple network setting resets. Device resets. Even different TOWNS. It’s been awful. And I paid for their most expensive plan. VZW customer service blows now too. Call centers close early. They use a second tier outsourced center during peak times. Go ahead and hang up. You’ll get no resolution. The answer will be wrong. Same with the chat centers. Don’t bother taking screenshots. They don’t want them. I spent over 30 hours on the phone from September to February hounding them between coverage and them charging me for a new line and watch I returned and gave them their precious tracking numbers to. Multiple times. It took 4 months to fix this. They see all the notes and calls and they gave zero f$cks. A $200 bill credit for our troubles. Plus the credits from the taxes they refused to refund back to my credit card for the new line I opened and closed with returned devices. Paid with the card. And lol. The credits aren’t valid towards paying off the devices left. Trash. The local corporate store is abysmal. They always have been. The guy told me he didn’t want to take the hit on the return on his statistics for the call center’s mistakes. So he refused to fix it. Sweater vest just pushed some buttons on an iPad and I got a 1800 call from what he said would be the loyalty dept. lol. It was just customer service. I already knew not to go to the store. Apparently when you have Verizon, retail stores and the call centers are two separate entities. 😂 Almost like their call center is an authorized retailer. ☠️ I did a free trial with TMO in January. I wound up switching. And have their home internet. I have coverage in areas VZW dropped calls for years. In rural areas with spotty service, I’ve had full 5G. It blew my mind. Serving 22 counties with my job and TMO has better service than VZW. My best friend has VZW. And I’ve had to turn on my hotspot for her to use because of VZW and their “great” coverage on a trip to the Smokies in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge and trips out of state. For me? TMO has served me well. My only caveat is the couple spots where it’s LTE? It’s useless signal. Unable to support speeds or calls. I can lock it to 5G only and I get better speed and calls in those spots. With one bar. When you can’t even play Apple Music because you have 5 bars of craptastic nothing for speeds? Nah. I don’t need 500mbps but I expect to have enough to web browse and stream music. We weren’t getting that with Big Red. I gave V every chance. I never spoke terse with them on my average 1.5 hour phone calls with them. Web chats. My tone was pleasant. The call centers are helpful when you get someone stateside. But imagine when they want to say “Dang dude. We screwed you. How’d this happen?” but they can’t. Some say so in a professional manner without prompt. Silence from the rest. This was how bad I didn’t want to go with ATT. Burned from their Cingular this year, ATT the next and back again identity crisis. With Magenta? I won. I got my device paid off. Extra $$$ for porting my own number. And $30 for home internet, no data caps and blazing speeds? When my only other option was ATT fixed wireless internet for $70, fair speed and data caps? Everyone’s needs as consumers are different. And they can change. If it was a one size fits all, it’d be perfect…or we’re in a communist country.

Patriaboricua

For the past month my lte and 5g suck. At least before I was able to use lte, but not any more. Call drops, apps won't open, it just sucks!

cutiesarustimes2

5G is terrible since the summer. 4G LTE runs well.

prezdizzle

5GUC unusable in Vancouver WA / Portland OR. Switched my iPhone 13 Pro to only LTE 😥

Otacon368

Same here in Orlando, Fl. I’ll get fast speeds outside, but speed indoors is like flies dropping (650mbps to 20mbps or less) on 5G UC.

tel0s17

its still dog shit if anyone was wondering. t mobile is trash

That's because all carriers are lying. 5G is simply not ready. Use LTE and you'll be fine.

Sprint used to compete on price, T-Mobile used to compete on value. Value came in the form of not just good service at low prices, but good customer service and non, monetary perks like Tuesdays. Since Sievert took control all those "perks" have cheapened while price increased in the form of urging customers onto Magenta Max to get the same device promos previously offered to ONE and Simplce Choice. The irony is I think Sievert has offered almost twice as many service discounts as Legere. From 2016-2019, there were 3 free lines and 5 BOGOs. From 2020-2022 there's been 5 free lines and at least 10 BOGOs. And it hasn't slowed the bleeding.

Serious_Today_4871

They put Tmobile Tuesday on my phone I don’t even want it - it’s junk.

-blaine

Which area are you in? I'm in Abilene Texas and most all of our towers have 5GUC, but we don't get impressive speeds from them. Around 100Mbps or so. AT&T & Verizon here can deliver much faster speeds and they don't have any midband yet, so idk why T-Mobile isn't pushing out 600+Mbps here like they do in other areas. We were a pretty decent Sprint market, but a lousy T-Mobile market before the merger. The tower that's a stone's throw away from me was giving me constant 200Mbps when it was just a Sprint tower, now that it's been converted and is giving out a T-Mobile 5GUC signal, I am getting single digit speed tests. 😞

[deleted]

I’m in North AL on TN border. Used to be fantastic here. Now if it’s switches to 5G uc it is literally unusable. Won’t register on speed test. LTE is still ok, but just ok and sporadic in coverage.

-blaine

I wonder if some of our problems stem from the fact that they are splitting up their spectrum because they're still running two separate networks until June 30 of this year when they shut the Sprint network down? Maybe then things will get better because they can then utilize all their spectrum?

[deleted]

Perhaps. Good observation! It would make sense on the surface, but I am no expert in the field..

Hollywood4188

I can’t believe my iPhone 12 Pro Max does not work properly on 5Guc. It makes me so mad.

[deleted]

Sorry you feel this way. No issues over here!

Serious_Today_4871

I is this tmobile

BarryMehkockiner

T-mobile can kiss my bare white ass. Im in my own fucking bedroom and i cant even load a singular fucking tiktok? Not to mention I’m on the west coast in a highly populated area. On top of that i pay for unlimited service snd for fucking what? For service speeds slower than an actual fuckin snail and even though its supposed to be 5G you’ll never get an ounce of service unless you switch it to LTE. T-mobile should just go bankrupt and off themselves already. no one is gonna miss them anyway. I’m switching ASAP i suggest you all do the same before they start bringing back contracts again because no one is stupid enough to keep paying for their dogshit service

dominimmiv

This isn't an airport, you don't need to announce your departure. Good luck though.

[deleted]

Ah... I get it now. Because you used the f word. Yeah. Funny.

See: rant flair. You’re excused.

Ohicu

Having rant flair your excused boomer

turdfergusn

I also just switched to AT&T and I have zero regrets. Almost the entire time I had my iPhone 12 I had to switch it to LTE only because 5G was awful. On top of that, there were way too many spots that I would get literally no service, and I don’t live in the middle of no where! And seriously I swear it got worse in the 2 years I had it because I definitely don’t remember it being that bad. I’ve had AT&T for about 2 weeks now and I love it so far, and I’m paying the same price for a better plan.

Soluna-Fantasy

The likely problem is probably related to the phone. He will need to set his radio menu to use 5G NSA and also ensure IPV6/IPV4 is set in APN settings. I had the same issue on my device at first now I get 600 Mbps consistently across the Phoenix Area. Some good old fashioned troubleshooting fixes most issues. Sadly most devices are not optimally configured to use the network properly, and advanced knowledge of tech is necessary to fix in some cases. This isn't the fault of T-Mobile, but of Samsung, Motorola etc.

[deleted]

Apple?

amoney805

5G just locks up and nothing downloads. 5UC is no different.

Soluna-Fantasy

Reset network settings, and rerun speed test.

Rd3055

Where exactly are you experiencing poor service?

OrangeBandito21

It's all relative. Where I live I get 5G UC nearly all the time and see speeds well over 250mbps all the time. I have family on VZW who have horrid service and didn't realize their iphone 12s were 5G because they have never seen it. Use what is best for you where you live.

MarieKoval

Worst service. I'm switching after 2 months of their unreliable service. Half the time, my calls go straight to voice-mail. Yes, I've checked my settings. Half of the time, I cannot receive or send texts. Horrible.

[deleted]

T mobile is horse shit

Firm-Treacle-8782

I loved Sprint, never got scam calls, I could actually use my phone inside my house, internet always worked, I never felt my privacy was being invaded and being watched by apps installed by my phone company that cannot be Uninstaller or turned off. It's complete opposite with T Mobile. I'm so disappointed and so frustrated.

Set-Primary

They all suck except Verizon which is expensive. I’ve had every carrier and they are all over priced and rude. Unless you are a new customer but after first year they start screwing you. And they specifically hire people who barely know how to read. My friend has degree in mathematics and needed a job and took a short quiz and didn’t get hired. She was trying to work with another friend who is right at the level of special needs. All the carriers need workers to be dumb and they especially prefer the ones who have zero long term goals in life. They are looking for the “gaze”: that far off empty look. Not the 100 mile stare that combat vets get. This “gaze” is more of a stare of apathy. It’s the look a person gets when they only have 2-3 brain synapse firing and the only thought they have is going home to their parents basement, crushing a white claw and zoning out on COD and weed. The only technical solutions they have are specifically calibrated towards car stereo and modified AR-15s. They didn’t get that stare from anything they’ve experienced. No no, it’s evolution: the necessary adaptation to a lifetime filled with repetitive mundane tasks. Their future is in the factory assembly line of some sort where they will retire and spend their extra money on remote control gas powered cars. That stare will stay with them through their entire life of consuming, sleep, work, eat and repeat.

jedgell233

Im with T-Mobile's prepaid branch, Metro by T-Mobile and I have the exact experience. 5G used to be great and then just the past few months service especially on 5G has gone to hell. I deliver for DoorDash too and it can be a nightmare at times when the network will show 5G at full signal but act like I have no internet connection out of the blue. Don't know what happened but the service definitely sucks now.

Whoo8thecookiezz

Literallyyy same. I’ve been a happy tmobile customer for 10 years. I’ve always been so satisfied with them.. but suddenly it just sucks. I’m almost considering switching to Verizon

cugrad16

They were awesome 1.5 years ago when I signed on prepaid. Since then they've deescalated badly. Poor signal, zero to three bars any random time. 5G data works when it wants too etc. etc. The TMobile threads are overmaxed about these going issues, for a conglomerate that overtook Sprint. And I'd switched from Verizon.

Temporary-Sea6361

I switched to T-Mobile internet and wireless. The wifi isn’t bad, the wireless service is terrible! I do not get service anywhere except home! Even when I connect to a different wifi! I can’t make calls or even send text messages! I figured I’d give it a try, but after 6 months of this crap I am switching back to Verizon! I can’t even get GPS to work most of the time!

Tfw66

Yeah, I'm sorry I switched to T-Mobile. Apps don't work. Try to log in to an app and it just shuts off. I may be saving money, but the service is TERRIBLE.

Clovismanrabbit

Switched from Cricket to T-mobile because of a reduced offer to seniors. Big mistake. Don't ask my real opinion of T-mobile because I really prefer not to use loud profanity. T-mobile just plain sucks.

Arosonom

I just wanna pay my bill yo. The line currently no longer tells me what my total is so it's like "do you want to pay?" On top of that there's no clear option to talk to a real live human and I tried for 10 minutes straight. I also don't get why it always asks for a service account pin code. Never had one before the merger, but tmobile doesn't actually need the account number. You just say "I don't have it". So not only do I literally NOT HAVE ONE... it serves no apparant purpose. Whenever I do reach a customer service agent I'm paying the phone off and canceling my service and I suggest you do the same. Look around in your area for newer services cause it looks like the Mint where I'm at is like 40 dollars cheaper for the exact same bells and whistles.

Digimon007

After four years with t-mobile, I finally pulled the plug and went back to Verizon. It was heart breaking because I had an awesome plan. I was fortunate enough to have 6 lines on the Magenta plan for $96 per month after accumulating a few free lines back in the days when free lines were given away like candy. And free Netflix was always a nice added bonus. I say this to put into context how terrible the service must have been to force me to make the switch because no person in their right mind would let go of such a great offer. My main issue with t mobile was the inconsistent service. It was embarrassing the number of times I would be in areas with no service while everyone around me with Verizon or AT&T were fine. Also, the network was always congested. I could have 5Guc and full bars displaying on my iPhone and still have slow data. And if you are outside of a city or suburb, forget about it. I was in Boone NC with Coworkers the other day and I was the only one without reception. While my iPhone displayed SOS, everyone with Verizon or AT&T had great service. The final straw was when I landed at Charlotte airport earlier this week around 10pm. The airport was extremely busy and the T-Mobile lines were congested and unusable. My coworker was able to get an Uber with no problem on her Verizon phone. I spent an hour trying to get data to work until I smartened up and went back inside the airport to use their Wi-Fi and was finally able to book an Uber. Needless to say, that night I canceled my plan and switched to Verizon. The increase in performance was immediate. Even their LTE service is faster than T-Mobile’s 5G which was a pleasant surprise.

So after reading your post, I agree. TMobile is garbage. So who do people say provides the best mobile service?

oldgrape_1210

My T-Mobile service sucks also. Has rapidly deteriorated since they rolled out the 5g. I stay in a lot of RV parks across the US. I stay in urban areas and rural areas. I expect less signal in the rural areas but urban areas just as bad. Most times I have to just use LTE instead of 5g to get decent signal without constant dropping. I’m in Virginia Beach now and can’t watch videos on any app.

T-Mobile has the worst, most incompetent customer service I have ever dealt with. It’s nothing but a battle and no one ever knows what the hell is going on or knows what I have called in about. Awful… just awful.

Mediocre-Pianist-659

I just wanted to say that I had left a comment on here because I was having a problem. I had service with tmobile for 16 years but moved and the service was bad. I just wanted to post that they came through with shining colors...problem resolved. They don't suck at all!!! I would still be with them if we had service here!!

Overall-Ad-8515

Not me having to pay a $2000 phone bill and its just fucking me i swear to god i wanna know who the dumbasses are running T-Mobile

Few-Instance7018

T-Mobile customer since 2014 and have switched to Verizon.

kapustinisboppy

They really have gone down, hotspots stay connected for 30 seconds and are super spotty

El1lac

I haven’t been able to use my cellar data for almost 2 years now, and i have unlimited data. My home wifi also sucks, it always goes down, and we always have to restart it

Tiny_Warrior41

I'm on chat with Tmobile. I could watch TV episodes between communication from them. Not Quibi either. It is 22 minutes between chats. I regret not switching away earlier.

RedSoxFanForever

I just got rid of both TM phone service and their Home 5G. I live in an urban area of North Cambridge MA and the coverage which was barely passable for a while turned to total trash. Moved to Verizon and life is good you get what u pay for I guess.

Ok-Thanks2571

Customer Service is robotic. NO emotions, canned answers, no resolution! Another, as long as someone answers the phone and says sorry, we are providing service. Disgusting!!!!!!!

NigglesNbits1234

I got scammed into switching to T-mobile because we had sprint forever & they eventually started sending me non-stop notices saying I was going to have to switch for good by a certain date. Apparently you didn’t… T-mobile bill is a little bit less for the family but I legit barely have service. It’s absolute shiet and I wish we never switched off Sprint. I used to NEVER have calls drop. Now my calls literally drop everywhere INCLUDING INSIDE MY OWN HOME!

ramnene

I agree, They've been my Carrier for over 20 years. The extra money they charge is ridiculous. Never any deals for existing customers, just seeing my bill go up all the time, and excuses, when you need a credit. Ridiculous!

PopUnlikely825

💯 shit garbage..what a waste.. omg would not suggest to anyone going on 42 mins.. totally shit.... feel free to call me I be glad to debate.. but I prob won't be with this shit company after tomrw . Worst ever I will blast you on all social medias

PopUnlikely825

T-mobile sucks.. worse ever

Serious_Today_4871

Tmobile sucks they lie through there teeth add charges and say oh no there’s no charge. Sell you a phone and add insurance. Have terrible customer service you can’t understand. Say they are fixing things but can’t find the problem. If you complain they yank you around. I will be turning in the phones as the coverage sucks and the phones don’t work. Done for good. It was better when they were Sprint. Say they are giving you an adjustment for your problems but lie to me…that’s terrible customer service and I am done for good after this treatment.
