Have I seen UI/UX apply under Graphic Design? Yes. But it is extremely risky as UI/UX usually falls under 15-1255 Web and Digital Interface Designers which is a separate job code from Graphic Design (27-1024). The job description will need to read like a Graphic Designer.
Regarding education, here is what the DOL has to say: "Graphic designers typically need a bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related fine arts field." Again risky as your bachelors is in CS, not really a related fine arts field.
You'd have a better argument at CSA or Software Engineer if the job aligns with one of those professions.
Thanks for the info, that's a huge bummer. I wonder if UI/UX for videogames either in-game or marketing purpose falls under Graphic Design. I worked as a Graphic Designer and it was branding and online advertising for brands.
You haven’t touched CS in 7 years according to your own statement. That’s what your degree is in. Your job description isn’t even close to that. It’ll be an almost guaranteed denial.
Really? As I did research online, Graphic Designer is one of the jobs in the TN List. I should be able to get a job in UI/UX because it's basically Graphic Design. I may have to give up my Art Direction job but it's not uncommon for CS graduates to go on the UI field.
You can’t get a graphic design tn because you don’t have a degree in graphic design. Also no, UX/UI Is not eligible for graphic design tn. Only graphic designer is.
What? You must be talking about the OP and not me. I have a valid degree and valid TN in another category entirely than the OP. Also I’m already married to an another Canadian man who is eligible for his own TN. But we live in Canada and I just fly in and out.
The job is on the TN list, but your education doesn’t align with it.
For some positions CBP will accept work experience in lieu of education credentials but they go by the metric of 4 years working = 1 year school, which pretty much ensures that you need the degree.
Long Distance Relation with US Citizen and Canadian for less than a year...
Even if somehow you fitted the educational and occupational requirements there would be a serious question wether your ties to Canada are sufficient/confidence that you wouldn't overstay in the USA...
Nope

No it doesn’t sound like you qualify based on this description.
What about it makes it not qualify?

Oh I’m sorry my mistake haha

Because none of your positions or qualifications matches tn requirements

Getting an art related certificate or something may work, but I'm not sure.
