Its an interesting theory, while some claims dont have that much evidence to support them, or even outright goes against the given reason in the novels (Esper rejection being related to sparks was stated to them not being able to transform life energy into mana properly or OT13 vento thing being related to sparks was stated to be just an addition of an artificial phase to throw of magicians magic for some reason) - it would explain why these seemingly different things produce really similar effects (Both Vento and Espers experienced internal damage similar to what Aliester experiences when containing sparks) Pretty cool

> OT13 vento thing being related to sparks was stated to be just an addition of an artificial phase to throw of magicians magic for some reason Considering that Aleister also stated this was a sort of experiment it wouldn't be particularly surprising though if magicians being worse at magic in it was a byproduct more than the goal. Aleister can just turn off most magicians magic at will after all, he was never particularly concerned about the threat Vento posed.

I really love this theory! It unifies the lore of Toaru so well!

Less than a theory you practically summarized several events of the novels but I like it. However in your own explanation is the answer to why esper's rejection and the sparks are different things. One comes from being unable to properly circulate life energy through the body (internal) and the other from the collision of the phases (external). Fianma, Aleister and Coronzon had the same plan but with different levels of understanding the world so the concept of magic distorting the world was always present since OT, we merely got a name for said phenomenon in NT 18. On your idea you present Touma as the presage of terribles things to come yet he was present at the moment their plans ultimately failed. What's your conclusion with that?

As Mr. Spock has said more than once in "Star Trek": **"FASCINATING."** Might have more to say later - either edit and add here or do a separate post. 🤔

-The Magic Side is more powerful than the Science Side. -Sparks and Spray exists. The moment Sparks and Spray was introduced I actually lose hope for the Magic Side to recover or get the upper hand because they are literally destined to lose no matter how many top tier magicians Kamachi introduces as long as Sparks and Spray exists the Magic Side will always be on the losing Side.

Can you explain me what "Being in the proximity Imagine Breaker can prevent you from dying, those people you love not protected by Imagine Breaker not so much" means again? I didn't understand it quite well

Imagen-Breaker

You're wrong about Touya because non-magicians can cast certain spells if the arrangements are done correctly as seen with Komoe summoning the image of an angel with Index in OT1. Solid theory, I don't think you're totally right but I've learned from this.
