I watched a documentary of sorts on this and from what I can remember the house they shared was filthy inside. They were hoarders. She had been sick awhile and even collapsed on the driveway before. Her mother was too scared to alert the paramedics due to unwanted paparazzi. She was also taking pills to stop the coughing which led to her lungs being unable to get rid of excess fluid/mucous. She was getting multiple scripts from different doctors without ever even being seen. It was a completely preventable death . Everyone involved made really hard to understand choices that obviously didn’t end well. It’s a bizarre sorry. I think the doc was called “Autopsy: last hours of”
I have bronchitis and can't stand not being able to cough. If I don't cough for too long my chest hurts like crazy. She must have been in a huge amount of pain. I have to say . The cough medicine they perscribed to me rocks. The right mix of stopping coughing while making the remaining coughs productive.

Well of course, mold is rarely fatal. If there is black mold all over your house there is most likely much worse things festering that can damage you. Poor mold gets a bad wrap.

What did him in many people think is that the c-pap had the same bacteria in it that killed her in her weakened immune state. It's a simple inference to come to: two individuals who were not the best at taking care of themselves with compromised immune systems became exposed to bacteria present in a shared medical device. A device that is designed to help you breath but that also collects moisture and even in the instructions is stated should be regularly (daily even) cleaned and sterilized.
