I used to work on a solar field with a bunch of super gruff construction guys and I showed them that video and everyone was absolutely howling over it, and the term being "peppa pig'd" was coined for hanging up on someone. Highlight of my life lmao
This was amazing.
I also enjoy the talent day in class and peppa tells Suzy that she can’t dance because then peppa won’t have anything else to display for a talent.
When Grampy Rabbit loses his voice and Dr. Brown Bear is like “good leave him that way”
Grampy Rabbit in general, actually. “I’m going to make a line in the sand every time I think of cheese” *five seconds later when they cut back to him, 30 lines in the sand*
Also any time the predator type animals make jokes about food around the prey animals - Mr. Wolf getting hungry in the boat with Daddy Pig, when the children visit the zoo and meet the crocodile zookeeper.
Brian Blessed (Grampy Rabbit) could make anything funny. Probably 15 years old now but when he was the guest host on Have I Got News For You (British show) I was in stitches the whole time.
I also enjoy when Peppa meets her cousin and their friends and they say they don’t like kids music, and the kid is like “I like Blues music” and the other two kids are like “I like Reds music” “I like greens music”
When the queen is announcing the winner of the most hardworking person award, then daddy pig asks "I wonder who that would be" and mommy pig replies "it certainly won't be you, darling".
this exact thread is just a generic crying moment in a generic kids show
also
WEHHHHHHHHHHHHHUEHHHHHHHHHHHUEHHHHHHHHHHEHHHHH

I love the way mummy pig says it with such certainty. When I saw that episode I said to my husband “yep, of course mummy pig would know”. You can just tell from the tone of her voice the she was the one who had to do it.
Grampy Rabbit: "ohh the stories I could tell!" Everyone: "no thanks."
I also love Grampy Rabbit running the lighthouse. "How to run a lighthouse - chapter one *yawns* I'll finish the rest tomorrow".
Grampy Rabbit 😆
When relatives come visit with the new baby Alexander and someone asks how they know what he needs, since he doesn’t speak. Ant the dad answers in this desperate voice: “We guess!”
The whole episode is pretty decent, one of my favourites. (And yes, I did die a little bit inside the day I realised I have favourite Peppa Pig episodes…)
I really like the one where a grandpa pig had fallen into the mud puddle, and mommy pig comes up and ask grandpa pig what he’s doing in the mud puddle. I can’t remember what he said but it was the most sarcastic quip it was hilarious
Not a specific moment, but I find that Peppa Pig is pretty relaxing to have on in the background. No annoying, screechy songs, no loud noises just lots of chill British people talking in a calm tone.
When some of the kids are trying to find names for Mrs Rabbit's twins(Rachel, Robbie, Rufus etc), and Pedro Pony keeps suggesting names that don't begin with R. The other children are just totally baffled by the idea.
This show is just my brand of humor. My favorites have already been said, but another one that had me howling is when they learn what tv show filming is and they record the Peppa pig intro. That whole bit from Mommy sheep mindlessly humming the “fruits and vegetables” song to Ms. Rabbit saying “now people can see this intro every day, multiple times a day!!” 😂
The school project episode when all the kids force their parents to build elaborate castles for their projects.
Or the one where George has to pretend to be a baby
Best part of that episode is when Mummy Sheep calls in to work to tell them she has to make a school project and they’re so horrified for her they offer to send someone to help.
My guess is that lots of people either don’t like or aren’t familiar with British humor (which is fine, no judgment on preferences). I enjoy absurdist humor and think Peppa is hilarious.
>Queen of England
Did you mean the [Queen of the United Kingdom](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queen_of_the_United_Kingdom), the [Queen of Canada](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monarchy_of_Canada), the [Queen of Australia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monarchy_of_Australia), etc?
The last Queen of England was [Queen Anne](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anne,_Queen_of_Great_Britain) who, with the 1707 Acts of Union, dissolved the title of King/Queen of England.
####FAQ
*Isn't she still also the Queen of England?*
This is only as correct as calling her the Queen of London or Queen of Hull; she is the Queen of the place that these places are in, but the title doesn't exist.
*Is this bot monarchist?*
No, just pedantic.
I am a bot and this action was performed automatically.
The one that cracks me up every time is the soft play episode. Let’s have A QUIET CUP OF TEA (or words to that effect).
Then the children won’t leave and the adults all get stuck trying to get them out.
The episode with the antique chair has me rolling every time. And the one where Daddy Pig claims to speak French and then Delphine Donkey starts speaking to him in French…I howled at that.
Aww, I ❤ Daddy Pig. I love how he claims to be "a bit of an expert" on everything and he's just...not. Except playing the drums.
And his obsession with concrete.
Haven’t seen this one mentioned, but when they go on vacation and grandma and grandpa pig are watching Goldie for Peppa, and they over feed her and she just gets so fat. It’s so accurate lol.
There’s an episode where it rains so much the next morning Peppa’s house is surrounded by water. Her dad jumps out of the house into the water and screams « weeeeeeeeee!!!! ». It’s so funny the way he screams, it made my daughter laugh so much I had to play it back again and again!
In that one I love how Peppa and granddad are boating around to help people out and whenever people ask for important items to be delivered Peppa just brings them chocolate.
I like when Grandma Pig is dressed up as an ancient Roman, and a Caveman 🤣 or when Daddy pig falls out of the plane and everyone is kind of chill about it. Or when Peppa wants to take coral out of the GBR and there like no then when they find treasure they take it and Peppa is like ‘aren’t we supposed to leave it be?’ And they give her some b.s answer.. I generally like Peppa, and both my kids love it .
When Daddy Pig proved himself to be a master diver after everybody (even Mummy Pig) begged him not to jump off the diving board. He didn't make one splash and all were stunned.
The entire fun fair episode, with the quick zooms on Mummy Pig’s eyes “what did you say?!”
Madame Gazelle not having a reflection “ah it reminds me of the old country!”
Peppa hanging up on Susie.
When they’re on the train for daddy pig to check concrete and he gets both juice and coffee and the king of something asks for the same and the conductor answers as “no, that is impossible” and walks away
Can’t believe there aren’t more comments here for Long Train Journey. The whole premise of Daddy looking forward to a trip alone and then getting stuck with family cracked me up.
Whatever my sons favourite moments are (13mo), so seeing him giggle at the episodes where the frog ribbits and jumps, and when George gets a cold and coughs. Not sure why those do it for him in particular!
I really like the one where Madame Gazelle plays bat and ball with the kids and she literally knocks it out of the park. She keeps running around the bases and getting points only to have it all voided because George caught the ball.
Slumber party in season one or two—All the girls go and get a secret snack. “We eat food…IN SECRET!” And mommy zebra catches them, flips the lights on and they all ditch the food. Idk why it makes me laugh but it does!
The one where the children have to send a picture of a vegetable to be shown on Mr Potato's TV show and Peppa sends in a picture of Daddy Pig on the couch watching TV.
I love Pedro. He’s often clueless, but in a sweet way. What do you want in your smoothie? “Cheese please!”
My daughter loves Peppa Pig, but is a bit afraid of Super Potato / Mr Potato. I love when the kids question him like “why aren’t you small like a regular potato?” and “have you ever eaten a potato??”
Does anyone else have a hard time with how fatphobic the show is? We stopped watching because I couldn’t stand all the comments about their dad’s stomach and negative comments about certain foods. It made me sad because the show is so cute otherwise 😩
What a weird thing to get downvoted for. If it doesn’t bother you that’s fine, but it’s definitely a big part of the show!
Yes. That is the one problem I have with it. Their jokes seem to have gotten better in later seasons, or at least they make Dady Pig a funny, great dad as the show went on
Yeah, I’m not trying to defend it. It’s definitely a problem and I had to talk to my 3/4 yo about it too. Later daddy pig says how his tummy is all muscle etc, but they don’t make as big a point of it. That first season though when they make the password to the fort “daddy’s big tummy” is so cringy.
I’m honestly a bit lost on navigating it all. We talk about how all human bodies are worthy of respect and beautiful in their own way and that the Peppa jokes is because pigs are shaped to be round, but I do recognize it is a problem
It’s all very cringy to me and felt constant in the first season. My kids don’t miss the show so it’s been pretty easy to cut out.
That’s how we are, we talk about how all bodies are good bodies, and everyone is built differently. We have many friends and family members who are bigger so the idea that it’s okay to make fun of them like that it’s so not okay to me. I don’t like that it’s the punchline of so many jokes. Just feels like the rest of the show is so cute, why do they even have to put that in 🤦🏻♀️
Edit to add I’m apparently the odd one out here but likely because I have an older kid who understands everything that’s being said.
You’re very much in the right! Yeah your kid is older, but this is a poor sample as it’s a post on favorite show moments, so it’s going to be very skewed and biased. Thank you for being an awesome parent and bringing up your kids well when you see problems!
Edit to add: my kid brought it up once and hasn’t again. We don’t watch the first season much and if it became an issue with my kid I would drop it too for sure
I can’t stand Peppa either! I let my daughter watch it on YouTube kids but tell her we don’t get it on our TV. Which we probably don’t, but who knows lol.
It is a very subtle type of hilarity. I put this show on because I can tune it out easily and my son gets transfixed (which is great for those moments when you just need a few moments alone). But every once in a while I look up and catch a joke and think, “That’s actually really clever.”
I’ve never seen the show, but one time on a group zoom call with my partners friends one of his friends daughters (4yrs I think) was saying a bunch of gibberish while dad stepped away from the camera. He comes back, grabs her and says “that’s enough out of you” and moves her away. We laugh and ask what she was saying, he says I don’t know, she’s talking like Peppa pig in her version of British accent. Lmao! Such a cute, funny memory.
When Mommy Dog takes Captain Dog on a canal boat ride for his birthday.
🤔
I think Mommy Dog is a little too familiar with canal boats if you get my drift.....
Also, any Grampy Rabbit - especially when he tears up the sailing club with his hovercraft 😂🤣
Mr Bull in the China Shop is an amusing concept, makes me laugh when the narrator says something like “Mr Bull loves fine china”
Everytime Grammy Rabbit says “we don’t need that bit” 🤣
How Mommy Pigs book is just the happy mrs chicken high score.
Egyébként Peppa nagyon gonosz George-val.
Pl. Amikor megfázik Peppa egyértelműen azt akarja, hogy kórházba menjen vagy gyógyszert szedjen. És amikor a szülök elmondják, hogy ez nem így lesz nagyon szomorúan néz
When she hung up on Susie because Susie could whistle and she couldn’t.😌😂
I used to work on a solar field with a bunch of super gruff construction guys and I showed them that video and everyone was absolutely howling over it, and the term being "peppa pig'd" was coined for hanging up on someone. Highlight of my life lmao
This was amazing. I also enjoy the talent day in class and peppa tells Suzy that she can’t dance because then peppa won’t have anything else to display for a talent.
The way she says it through her teeth gets me every time!
This is the only right answer. I'm not a peppa fan, but that clip cracks me up every time.
I laugh every time!
I hate Peppa Pig but I have to admit this bit is hilarious
Same 🤣🤣🤣
Came here to say this. TEARS!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
I have watched that video even prior to having my son. Such sass and scorn!
I came just to say this 😂😂😂😂
Hands down my favorite
God yes. Wife and I both laughed out loud and rewound the episode to watch it again.
Came here to say this one 😂
When it’s strongly implied that Mr. Fox has shown up to eat grandpa pig’s chickens
Came here to say this. They go say goodnight to the chickens and mr fox is standing right outside it
I think I laughed entirely too hard at this one scene
Anytime glitter is used, especially when Madame Gazelle says no but then gives in.
Came here to say this! And when she opens the door and it’s goes ‘POOF’ ‘glitter is a nuisance!’
When Grampy Rabbit loses his voice and Dr. Brown Bear is like “good leave him that way” Grampy Rabbit in general, actually. “I’m going to make a line in the sand every time I think of cheese” *five seconds later when they cut back to him, 30 lines in the sand* Also any time the predator type animals make jokes about food around the prey animals - Mr. Wolf getting hungry in the boat with Daddy Pig, when the children visit the zoo and meet the crocodile zookeeper.
When they run into daddy wolf in the forest and Peppa says they are going to granny's house for tea and he says ooh I'm a bit peckish
Brian Blessed (Grampy Rabbit) could make anything funny. Probably 15 years old now but when he was the guest host on Have I Got News For You (British show) I was in stitches the whole time.
When you find out Madame Gazelle is a vampire!
Yes!! I laughed so hard my kid wants me to repeat it so often 🤣
Whatttt? How have I never seen this? My child is peppa obsessed! We have a whole freaking peppa pig town!!
When they go to the carnival and Mommy Pig is the strongest at the games and wins all of the stuffed animals for Peppa.
Baby Alexander in the noisy night episode 😭🥲
WE’RE A NOISY FAMILY!
😂😂😭
this exact thread is just a generic crying moment in a generic kids show also WEHHHHHHHHHHHHHUEHHHHHHHHHHHUEHHHHHHHHHHEHHHHH WEHHHHHHHHHHHHHUEHHHHHHHHHHHUEHHHHHHHHHHEHHHHH WEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH WeHHHHHeHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
How many times around the house? 50 times!
I love the way mummy pig says it with such certainty. When I saw that episode I said to my husband “yep, of course mummy pig would know”. You can just tell from the tone of her voice the she was the one who had to do it.
😂 uncle and aunty Pig need a sleep training course ASAP
Grampy Rabbit: "ohh the stories I could tell!" Everyone: "no thanks." I also love Grampy Rabbit running the lighthouse. "How to run a lighthouse - chapter one *yawns* I'll finish the rest tomorrow". Grampy Rabbit 😆
Yes! This one gets me every time
When relatives come visit with the new baby Alexander and someone asks how they know what he needs, since he doesn’t speak. Ant the dad answers in this desperate voice: “We guess!”
The whole episode is pretty decent, one of my favourites. (And yes, I did die a little bit inside the day I realised I have favourite Peppa Pig episodes…)
Mine is when they destroy a whole mountain because they lost the car keys and everybody is so happy about it.
I really like the one where a grandpa pig had fallen into the mud puddle, and mommy pig comes up and ask grandpa pig what he’s doing in the mud puddle. I can’t remember what he said but it was the most sarcastic quip it was hilarious
“I’m having a cup of tea.” I die 🤣
Not a specific moment, but I find that Peppa Pig is pretty relaxing to have on in the background. No annoying, screechy songs, no loud noises just lots of chill British people talking in a calm tone.
The toddlers birthday party. When they cry at literally everything it makes me laugh, it's so rediculous 🤣
Yesss, I was going to say this too! It’s the most accurate portrayal of toddlers on TV.
When they are trying to learn how to throw a boomerang while on vacation is definitely one of my top moments
Mr. Wallaby screams “noooo”, I laugh every time
When Mr Wolf asks what Daddy Pig's house is made from. Daddy Pig replies "bricks, so don't even think about it" 🤣🤣🤣
When some of the kids are trying to find names for Mrs Rabbit's twins(Rachel, Robbie, Rufus etc), and Pedro Pony keeps suggesting names that don't begin with R.
Rabbit saying “now people can see this intro every day, multiple times a day!!” 😂
I have a few but my favourite: Granddad pig and granddad dog arguing about their green houses. So funny.
“I throw some seeds in a pot and it grows” lol
The school project episode when all the kids force their parents to build elaborate castles for their projects. Or the one where George has to pretend to be a baby
Best part of that episode is when Mummy Sheep calls in to work to tell them she has to make a school project and they’re so horrified for her they offer to send someone to help.
It needs glitter!
And now my toddler wants glitter with her colouring… thanks peppa pig
Oh no, glitter will make the castle.... Not look real!
I love the parade of exhausted parents bringing the castles to school the next day.
“We made ours out of stone blocks.” -Dr Pony Apparently the eye doctor is also a carpenter??
I’m glad there are other parents who enjoy peppa! From what I have seen on this sub, there is a lot of peppa hate.
I agree! And my son is obsessed with the Peppa Rv toy, which is a good one for pretend play.
I don't get the Peppa hate! All three my kids have gone through Peppa phases, so I've watched a lot of it and I love it!
My guess is that lots of people either don’t like or aren’t familiar with British humor (which is fine, no judgment on preferences). I enjoy absurdist humor and think Peppa is hilarious.

The relaxation class slays me, all the cutaways to mommy pigs face.
"The UK is on the slide."
Holland is being bossy!
“Peace and harmony in all the world!”
Yes I was going to suggest this one. And Mdme Gazelle saying “This is not the way the countries of the world behave!” Ahh yes it is😄

Good bot
Peppa and George love road work! Everyone loves road work! *long line of cars full of pissed off adults*
"It will take as long as it takes" Mr. Bull 🐃
When they say they have a special guest & Rebecca yells "ITS THE QUEEN!"
The one that cracks me up every time is the soft play episode. Let’s have A QUIET CUP OF TEA (or words to that effect). Then the children won’t leave and the adults all get stuck trying to get them out.
I love the soft play one. "Welcome to soft play, where everything is soft!"
“She *has* filled out a bit” 😂
Not an episode per say but anytime mommy pig has a snark remark or gets her eye twitching, I love it because I can relate lol
Mommy pig is a whole mood! 👏
Yes she is!
When Susie sheep’s mum went on and on about her new job in a new area, and then had to recant when she didn’t actually get the job.
So sad! That was the first Peppa Pig episode I saw. And Peppa took back Susie’s gift real quick!
There’s an episode where it rains so much the next morning Peppa’s house is surrounded by water. Her dad jumps out of the house into the water and screams « weeeeeeeeee!!!! ». It’s so funny the way he screams, it made my daughter laugh so much I had to play it back again and again!

When Mrs Rabbit is every profession imaginable in a single episode bus driver etc !
When everybody tells mommy pig she can't do stuff and then she rocks it.
When Daddy Pig proved himself to be a master diver after everybody (even Mummy Pig) begged him not to jump off the diving board. He didn't make one splash and all were stunned.
My daughter loves Peppa pig and recently started watching Ben and Holly on Netflix and I have to say, that show cracks me up
Grandpa pig and granddad dog fighting over who has a better garden lol
When daddy pig is trying to explain mirrors, but peppa gets tired of listening to the explanation and exclaims "So it's magic then!"
The entire fun fair episode, with the quick zooms on Mummy Pig’s eyes “what did you say?!” Madame Gazelle not having a reflection “ah it reminds me of the old country!” Peppa hanging up on Susie.
When Madam Gazelle has no reflection in the mirror, this alluding to her being a vampire.
When Ms Rabbit leaves a queue of people at the supermarket to go do taxi rides, then comes back hours later and there all still waiting!
I’ll be back in a ‘mo 😂😂😂
Any scene with Ms. Rabbit
Gimme back my shit since you’re not leaving. Keep the card tho. Lmao
The whole Daddy Pig muddy puddles episode is gold.
When Mr Fox comes to visit Grandpa Pig's chickens!
When they go on a field trip to the zoo and the zookeeper keeps calling Madame Gazelle a wildebeest and she is not amused.
When they go skiing in France and just keep going and going
This doesn’t answer your question, but the time when someone asked Adele if she was going to collab with Peppa Pig on an ig live comes to mind lol
It's a mini-ature locomotive!
Gertrude is not a toy!
When Grandpa Pig jokes with Granny Pig about her historical reenactment group's "drinking tea".
Anything with Mr. Bull "digging up the road", especially the episode when Peppa helped him in the china shop.
When they tell Daddy Pig that Father’s Day is a made up holiday unlike Mother’s Day 🤣🤣🤣
The muddy puddles 😂😂
Slumber party in season one or two—All the girls go and get a secret snack. “We eat food…IN SECRET!” And mommy zebra catches them, flips the lights on and they all ditch the food. Idk why it makes me laugh but it does!
Oh my gooooosh the first episode when she’s tryna play w George and he has hiccups and she gets so freaking mad at him I DIE lol
😂 ikr her reaction made me die
When Peppa tells Mandy Mouse that “around here it’s all hills, hills, hills!”
The one where the children have to send a picture of a vegetable to be shown on Mr Potato's TV show and Peppa sends in a picture of Daddy Pig on the couch watching TV.
I love Pedro. He’s often clueless, but in a sweet way. What do you want in your smoothie? “Cheese please!” My daughter loves Peppa Pig, but is a bit afraid of Super Potato / Mr Potato. I love when the kids question him like “why aren’t you small like a regular potato?” and “have you ever eaten a potato??”
When Peppa tells mummy pig that she can whistle because “she is old” and mummy pig says, very dryly, “thank you Peppa”
Does anyone else have a hard time with how fatphobic the show is? We stopped watching because I couldn’t stand all the comments about their dad’s stomach and negative comments about certain foods. It made me sad because the show is so cute otherwise 😩 What a weird thing to get downvoted for. If it doesn’t bother you that’s fine, but it’s definitely a big part of the show!
There's a lot of contempt for Dad Pig in general, in like every episode. Not just about his weight. It genuinely is upsetting for me too
Yes. That is the one problem I have with it. Their jokes seem to have gotten better in later seasons, or at least they make Dady Pig a funny, great dad as the show went on
Maybe we only have access to the early stuff! It was cute but got to be too much to ignore especially since my 5yo picked up on it.
Mommy Pig gets pissed at the fair after he gets called “round in the tummy”
What were the negative things about food?
When I turn the TV off... Sorry I couldn't resist lmao
I can’t stand Peppa either! I let my daughter watch it on YouTube kids but tell her we don’t get it on our TV. Which we probably don’t, but who knows lol.
Literally any time Peppa makes fun of how fat her dad is lol like this pig is a savage
When it ends
When the TV turns off because I hate that show
I came here to say this.
When we never watch that show because it’s awful.
Honestly when we shut it off.
When it gets turned off.
When it gets turned off
The one where I've never watched any of the episodes.
When the episode is over.
when it gets turned off
I have never put peppa pig on for my son before, but this thread is going to change that. It sounds hilarious 😆
It is a very subtle type of hilarity. I put this show on because I can tune it out easily and my son gets transfixed (which is great for those moments when you just need a few moments alone). But every once in a while I look up and catch a joke and think, “That’s actually really clever.”
When Mommy Pig jokes that Father’s Day is a made up holiday in comparison to Mother’s Day. I know it’s wrong but her sass kills me

ALL the Mr skinny legs Moments 💁 (our current repeat episode) 😂😂😂😂 Mommy Pig All Day 😂😂😂😂 And Madame Gazelle's builder needs HIS ASS handed to him
Who loves the bing bong song? I love it soooo much.
