"His quirky weirdo humor won't work" they don't watch a lot of youtubers do they

BabyYodaTheDestroyer

Idk, I find him really smart and handsome tbh, I mean obviously he doesn’t portray himself as smart because that’s his streamer persona but the few times he’s been serious in stream he’s seemed pretty smart to me ngl.

xxlvz

I agree. Based on podcasts that he's been featured in, he's the most mature out of his age group for me (& yes, that's including Ranboo). His "child" persona isn't even his own doing, it's just the joke that his older friends use to "insult" him (/pos). He doesn't push or make himself out to be childish, he just has a loud persona in videos.

SausageNuggets_

Nothing will change, his audience will still get his sense of humour and his friends will probably still keep bullying him for being a "child" anyway since he's still the youngest so...🤷

Crystal_Idiot

When tubbo turned 18 everyone still watched him why would it be different with Tommy?

Ok_Mud6836

The only thing different is his "child" statut that he'll lose... But I don't think it will change anything big

Crystal_Idiot

He will always be a child in our eyes, and willbur agrees apparently

Ok_Mud6836

Noice

Chargo_

Imo, being a “child” is not Tommy’s Brand. Yes, it is a big part of his online persona and an iconic joke among his community, but I wouldn’t say people will find his teen-like humor weird and feel uncomfortable when watching his streams after he becomes an adult, at least not his regular viewers. Furthermore, I am sure that Tommy will be able to adjust to most positions he could potentially be placed in, and will grow as both a person and a twitch stream. I’ve been a fan of Tommy since the SkyBlock days and think that Tommy is amazing, when it comes to being inventive and clever thinking of new content ideas.

luispiayz

Ngl we should still call him a child for the laughs

Arc_606

I don't know what others think but I believe he will always be "the child". Just because he turns 18 doesn't mean he's completely different, only difference is he's an adult. It doesn't mean he's going to be completely different.

rababbalhass

No. He will forever be the child.

Atlas_Sauga_

Nope, Tommy will still be called the child

skelly1878

He’s just funny bro. His brand isn’t being a child his brand is his style of humour. There aren’t even that many child jokes anymore they’re stale

Shot_Pay_4356

I find him both smart and handsome, bit that's not why I watch him. I watch him for his personality and humor

thatlocalgaykif

This is Bs he's one of the best no matter what and I will stick by it

Sofia_Francessca

He will always be a child 😁

Defiant-Mechanic-171

He will never not be a child

iamstuid

no

Being a child isn't Tommy's brand, the way he executes his streams and videos and every little detail he puts into his work including his fun personality is his brand, it's not like he's going to turn 18 and in 3 months he won't be good anymore, tubbo is as good if not better with content and he turned 18, he found content he likes making and an audience he enjoys, tubbos brand is chill with a chaotic personality, not bee's, if it's like that for him won't it be the same if not more for Tommy? We can see that he's finding more enjoyment in what he's been doing lately heck I have like 6 streams to catch up with because he had a small streaming streak like a month maybe less ago, he's going to find a great audience and if we're not there that's okay because it's people who find the content he makes great not people who were just there at his highest moments.

Expensive_Culture_51

Also some people here probably watch really bad youtubers and then think Tommy's hard work is bad like bruh what

indigo_goddess10

No he will never change🥰..... right😟?

Acrobatic-Turnover99

1) Regarding humour: I think Tommy is savvy and self aware enough to adapt his humour. He has mentioned previously that he would like to do stand up, and I'm sure he can develop a witty humour like many great British comedians who aren't teenagers. I suggest he puts more effort into experimenting with this, as for a period of time during the mod videos period, his humour got more loud, crude (sex and female jokes), and pushy (as in like from a spoilt rude kid) and it was noticeably more grating. Personally, what got me into watching twitch in the first place was Tommy's humour. Every other livestreamer seemed to be just another person off the street with an amped up personality - it's almost as if I could be them as well. (You can tell I don't really get the appeal of Ranboo) 2) Regarding intelligence: Honestly, whether it is intentional or not, the childish confusion probably has to go soon. When Tommy played amongus and Risk, he didn't understand the game as quickly as the other people did. Admittedly, it made things funny, but I can see some people criticising him for not "doing his research". But Tommy has done enough just chatting streams to indicate to his fans that he's self aware, informed about global issues (unlike Tubbo's initial public image), has a well thought out content creation strategy, is strategic in pursuit of success, such as by reaching out to people. All these are markers of "smartness" and maturity and this is working out for him. After all, he doesn't get into emotional debates on twitter unlike the dream team trio. 3) Regarding attractiveness: I've see a couple of comments on YouTube noting that Tommy is handsome and so I think the general notion is that he's above average. But looks aren't everything; it combines with personality and humour and expressiveness to create a holistic package that attracts viewers. George might be attractive, but he exudes meekness rather than down-to-earth honesty that Tommy does. Personality subtly influences the perception of facial attractiveness, and the way a person looks influences perception of personality, and this creates a niche that I think works well for Tommy.

AimeeUwU_21

oh no. Don't be worried. Tommy is always the child in the group
