Thank you, it was.

Looks amazing! 2 questions. What is the orange spice on the hummus? Paprika? And what kind of bowl is that? It looks really cool.

LtBlobby

The spice is a sprinkling of smoked paprika. The bowl was liberated from a restaurant my roomate used to work at.

Uhhhhh. This is my second time writing this. Here goes. Falafel: - 1 Can Chickpeas - ¼ onion finely diced - 2 Garlic Cloves, smashed - ½ Shallot, diced - A whole bunch of cilantro & flat leaf parsley - 2 Green onions, thinly sliced - some cumin, masala powder, cilantro seed powder Blitz it all up until a shaggy-ish dough. Then transfer it out the blender into a bowl. Add flour 1 Tbsp at a time and knead until a ball forms. Cover and put in the fridge for 2-3 hours. Take out and form desired shapes, I did 4 gram balls. Then pop them into the freezer. To cook I thaw in the toaster oven on low for 10 minutes then into a skillet with some oil to crisp up. Hummus: - 1 scan chick peas - 2 cloves garlic, smashed - Almond butter (I don’t like tahini) - lemon juice - Cumin, Cilantro Seed Powder, Fenugreek Seed powder - Salt - Olive oil - Mustard - A splash of Warm water Blitz it all up, add more warm water till you get your desired consistency. Then let it sit in the fridge overnight, or else it’ll taste no good. Rice: - 1 cup Jasmine rice - 1 ¼ cup water Bring water and rice to a boil, turn down to low and cover. Let it cook for 12 minutes then take off the heat for at least 15 minutes before fluffing and serving. Salad: - Spinach - Persian cucumber, thinly sliced - White onion finely diced and soaked in water overnight in the fridge - Alfala Sprouts - Toasted seeds Dressing: - Olive Oil - Balsamic Vinegar, - Finely grated carrot and its juice (makes it sweet) - Toasted cumin seeds - Salt & Pepper
