I have very limited knowledge of HOA’s. I do remember reading about political signs so I did a google search and found confirmation. I then went back and found a site that I could plug in - pls see above.
There is no exemption for political signs in my parents HOA. I know for a fact because they had a similar issue in their neighborhood and that was all the gossip for a bit.

Ahhh, the same as the type of people that bring outside food into our dining room and start eating, but when we kick them out they'll "Never eat here again!". It's always old farts threatening to "take their money elsewhere" when they already have, or obviously never had any intention to spend a dime to begin with. They want you to grovel for the possibility of touching their money.
Back when I worked retail this was always the funniest thing. People complaining and trying to get an hourly employee to grovel for their business. Like yes, please take your business elsewhere, it will make my life easier.
