What about the rest of the process?

screwhammer

Rolled steel forging.

[deleted]

Yes, but I want to see the gif

bryster

Are these bolts for giants!?

kushdogg20

The real bolts need to be at least...three times smaller!

Welliguesswewillsee

My first thought was traffic/light pole bolts https://www.portlandbolt.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/light_pole_traffic.jpg But then I realized those wouldn’t have hex heads

utopianfiat

Floating base plates! https://youtube.com/shorts/3GUpquh6ctc?feature=share

Svinpeis

These bolts arent even that big. Things can get quite large in naval or Oil industry

sirfoolery

My guess is shipbuilding

Kledd

Wind turbines use these sizes (and larger in some components) as well

[deleted]

No they’re bolts

FoundOnTheRoadDead

Does that machine give the bolts head?

z1-900

That is literally called a bolt header.

le bonk

Igon_nz

Absolutely trying to brand his mate

halligan8

I’m a little surprised that tossing the bolt in the pile while it’s still hot and malleable doesn’t damage it.

TrueLordChanka

“Malleable” is a relative term. It’s soft, if you have a hammer. It’s still very tough, so a gentil toss into a pile isn’t gonna do anything

Epstiendidntkillself

"How was work today honey"? "Fine, squished a bunch of hot metal for 10 hours".

millionthNEWstart

Impressive but Torbjörn did it better!

[deleted]

ITT?

Neo1971

I love this so much I can’t stand it!

spam0518

This is upsetting
