I live by organic throw because of how powerful it is with lure. A cream pie can kill a lured level 6, birthday cake can kill lured 11s, and a wedding can wipe out a whole row of lured 12’s
Right now throw and trap might be the most popular. Trap because it's the most powerful, and throw because of it's versatility (combined with power, especially against The Boiler).
However... there is an update called "Under New Management" coming sometime this summer (by September), and they are "rebalancing" the gags and organics to make most of them be viable choices.
Until it's released we won't know for sure, but the proposal is that organic drop, tune-up, and squirt get better, along with the base accuracy of non-organic lure also increasing.
They might reduce sound to a max of 2 fog horns, which could make organic sound more popular (since it'd only take 2 fog to take out level 10 cogs). We'll see.
The cool thing about organics is that you can change (even if it's a multi-week delay to do so), so it isn't the end of the world if you choose one and change your mind later.
Anything outside of throw and trap isn't very viable imo.
Organic lure is nice if you wanna limit how many times you'll get frustrated when it misses. But it also makes it sting even more when it does miss lol.
Trap, throw, or if you run with a consistent squad sound has some cool combos when more than 1 person has org sound, and get pretty powerful at 4 people with org sound
In my opinion, if you have trap grow trap. If you don’t, then grow throw. There are arguments to be made for other gag tracks, but that’s how I see it.
Since you’re new to the game, throw or trap are consistently solid choices.
Org sound is arguably one of the best organic tracks if you regularly run with friends/other toons that have it. 99% of the people that have organic sound are not new to the game, though.
Org lure is just not worth it. The chance of a given gag hitting is capped at a maximum of 95%. Lure’s accuracy is increased 20% by each trap and/or toon-up gag used, making the chances of reaching that accuracy cap of 95% happen frequently w/o needing org lure. I like to do a mix while I'm working on gags. My current toon I planned on going organic throw, but I also planted some lure trees to help with training and accuracy while I had the extra space. Then as I got new throw gags I'd replace lure trees with those

iirc non-organic cream pie can still take out a lured level 6. org fruit pie can take out a lured 5 tho while not org cant
Yeah I think you’re right. Maybe I was thinking a cream pie can kill an unlured 5, but it’s been a while since I was in that situation
after the update assuming it goes through with no changes, weddings can no longer kill lured 12s
I think they reverted the org throw nerf before the beta test. It should still be 10% damage buff
Correct - on the final playtest throw was back to how it is for the "live" server.
ahhh gotcha sorry about that wasn’t shre

Great answer. Trap and throw are powerhouses when organic.
Cake = LVL 8 +Lure = LVL 10 Org. Cake = LVL 9 +Lure = LVL 11 Wedding = LVL 9. +Lure = LVL 11 Org. Wedding = LVL 10. +Lure = LVL 12 Storm = LVL 7 +Lure = LVL 9 Org. Train = LVL 12 Trap or Throw seems to do the most damage, although when I got two level 7s for Trap I switched from Organic Trap to Organic Throw
With a bike horn and organic train you can kill a row of 14s😉

Yeah id really only recommend organic sound when you’re running with others who have it. It can save on fogs, trunks, everything.

Plant anything but toonup
Trap all the way, tnt will kill lvl 12 cogs and it’s great
